Removal of the front cover and lamp door.
To remove the front cover and the lamp door, consult the user guide of the projector, chapter “Projector covers, removal and instal-
lation”.
Removal of the lens
To remove the lens, consult the user guide of the projector, section “Servicing”.
Overview
• Removal of the back cover
• Removal of the top cover
• Removal of the side cover
• Removal of the bottom cover

Flat screwdriver
How to remove the back cover
1. Release the 3 captive screws in the back cover.

How to remove the top cover
1. Release the captive screw in the middle of the top cover.

2. Pull the cover out of its locks and take it off.

1. Loosen both screws.

How to remove the bottom cover
1. Remove the 3 plastic legs by turning them off.

2. Turn out the 3 bolts (A).

3.1 Removal of the back plane
Necessary tools
• Allen wrench 2.5 mm
• Allenwrench3mm
How to remove
1. Disconnect the fan and cut both wire ties.
2. Turn out the 4 screws of the fan outlet grid.

4. Turn out:
- the 4 screws A.
- the 3 screws B
- both screws C

5. Take off the back frame
3.2 Replacing the fan
Necessary tools
Allen wrench 2.5 mm
How to replace
1. Turn out the 4 screws.

Replace the rear fan
2. Take off the fan cover plate.
3. Take off the fan itself.
4. Unpack the new fan and place the new fan on the back plane. The readable text on the rotor must be to outside and the connect
cable must be to the upper side of the back plane
With :
- The readable text on the rotor to the outside
- The connection cable to the upper side of the back plane (when projector is upside down, then to the bottom side).
5. Place the fan cover plate on its place.

6. Insert the 4 screws and fixate the fan to the back plane.
3.3 Mounting the back plane
Necessary tools
Allen wrench 2.5 mm

How to mount
1. Place the back plane on the back side of the projector.

2. Turn in :
- the 4 screws A.
- the 3 screws B
- both screws C

3. Place the outlet grid on its place and turn in the 4 fixation screws.
The pin on the outlet grid must point to the outside.

4. Reconnect the power connection.

3.4 Finalizing the installation procedure
Overview
1. Mount the bottom cover and the support feet.
2. Mount the side cover.
3. Mount the top cover.
4. Mount the lamp door.
5. Mount the back cover
6. Mount the lens.
7. Mount the front cover.
