Startup :
1) the batter of our PD490 ma be empt , so the PDA needs to be charged
for at least 6 hours before ou can start using.
2) Turn on our PDA with the power button (red) and wait for the first
operating s stem loading. This ma take several minutes.
3) At the end of loading, the s stem will prompt ou to calibrate the touch
screen, this is done b pressing the st lus on targets center that appear
alternatel to the 4 sides of the screen.
4) After calibration ou will be requested to initialize the clock / calendar, at
the end of this operation the PDA is read to work.
5) If ou want to connect then PDA to our computer, ou must install Active
S nc or Windows Mobile Device Center depending on whether ou use
Windows XP or Windows 7 (Vista). Both programs are provided in the support
CD.
6) For the use of all programs please refer to the online help or the Windows
Mobile PDA introduction that ou will find on board in the operating s stem.
Install SIM / Micro SD Card :
To use the PDA as a telephone ou must install a SIM card. The connector is
on the back under the batter slot.
To access the SIM connector, pull out the st lus, open the batter cover and
remove the batter .
The micro SD card connector is located under the batter as well.
After installing the card, close the compartment b inserting the batter and
pushing the cover until it hooked on the lateral
