1. Einführung
Der CHROMOFLEX
®
Pro ist eineWeiterentwicklung des CHROMOFLEX
®
I, II undRC. Die Version Pro enthält
bis zu 4 Kanäle (für moderne R-G-B-W LEDs - Art. 66000034) und erhält sämtliche Steuersignale per Funk. Zur
Steuerung und Einstellung werden daher entweder die CHROMOFLEX
®
Pro Fernbedienung (Art. 66000045)
oder der CHROMOFLEX
®
Pro USB-Dongle (für PC/Art. 66000036) benötigt.
Der CHROMOFLEX
®
Pro wurde so konstruiert, dass bereits ohne Programmierung anspruchsvolle
Beleuchtungsaufgaben im Dekorations- und Wellness-Bereich gelöst werden können. Die Geräte enthalten
werkseitig bereits eine Anzahl von Lichteffekten: Von festen Farben, über beruhigende Wellness-Farbwechsel,
bis zur Show-Beleuchtung. Per Funk können diese teilweise verändert oder als Standard-Effekte gespeichert
werden.
Nahezu beliebig viele Module können per Funk miteinander vernetzt werden. Innerhalb eines Netzwerkes können
sämtliche Farbwechsel automatisch synchron ablaufen (außer den Zufallseffekten). So lassen sich mit minimalem
Aufwand anspruchsvolle Aufgaben erledigen. Die Reichweite hängt stark von den räumlichen Gegebenheiten ab;
im freien Feld sind bis zu 300 Meter möglich, im Innenbereich ist normalerweise ein zuverlässiger Betrieb über
20-50 Meter problemlos möglich.
2. Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung
Die Fernbedienung erlaubt die Einstellung von Farben oder das Aufrufen von Effekten auf den CHROMOFLEX
®
Pro Modulen. Die getätigten Einstellungen können auf den CHROMOFLEX
®
Pro Modulen gespeichert
werden, so dass beim erneuten Einschalten der Versorgungsspannung der gewünschte Effekt oder die
gewünschte Farbe automatisch startet. Die Fernsteuerung verwendet kontaktlose, berührungsempfindliche
Taster und einen berührungsempfindlichen Schieberegler.
Die CHROMOFLEX
®
Pro Serie verwendet die in der EU, Schweiz, Norwegen und Island lizenzfreie
Funkfrequenz 868,3 MHz.

4. Sicherheitshinweise
Das Modul verfügt intern über einen Verpolungsschutz (mit begrenzter Leistungsfähigkeit), trotzdem kann
Verpolung (auch kurzzeitig) das Gerät zerstören. Bitte entfernen / ersetzen Sie umgehend leere Batterien, da
diese auslaufen können. Bei nicht bestimmungsgemäßen Betrieb, Verpolung, bei Umbau des Gerätes, bei Sach-
oder Personenschäden, die durch unsachgemäße Handhabung oder Nichtbeachten der Sicherheitshinweise
verursacht werden, übernehmen wir keinerlei Haftung und der Garantieanspruch erlischt vollständig. Dieses
Produkt ist kein Spielzeug und gehört nicht in Kinderhände.
5. Betrieb
Betreiben Sie das Produkt nur, wenn es einwandfrei funktioniert. Im Fehlerfall schalten Sie das Produkt sofort aus
und betreiben es erst wieder nach Überprüfung durch eine Elektrofachkraft. Dies ist der Fall, wenn:
- sichtbare Beschädigungen auftreten
- das Produkt nicht einwandfrei arbeitet
- es qualmt, raucht, oder bei hörbaren Knistergeräuschen
- eine Überhitzung zu erkennen ist
5.1 Inbetriebnahme
Bitte setzen Sie die 3V Knopfzelle in die Fernbedienung ein. Hierzu müssen die Schrauben auf der Rückseite
gelöst werden. Bitte die Batterie mit korrekter Polung einlegen, da sonst das Gerät evtl. beschädigt werden könnte
(bei Verpolung erlischt der Garantieanspruch). Das Gehäuse muss wieder verschlossen werden.
Nach dem Einlegen der Batterien, blinkt die rote Status LED rechts oben für ca. 15 Minuten alle 5 Sekunden.

Pro Remote
Nach ca. 15 Minuten schaltet die Fernbedienung automatisch in den Stromsparmodus, welcher durch erneutes
betätigen einer beliebigen Taste beendet wird. Zur Programmierung der Fernbedienung über die „ProCEd“
Software, darf sich das Gerät nicht im Stromsparmodus befinden.

5.2 Tastenbelegung / Funktion

Es gibt zwei Möglichkeiten (Neu und Klassik) für die Tastenbelegung, welche jeder Zeit wieder geändert werden
kann. Die notwendigen Dateien finden Sie auf unserer Webseite www.barthelme.de. Der Wechsel der Firmware
funktioniert mit der „ProCEd“ Software über den „Update Device Firmware“ Button, welcher in der „Setup“ Sektion
des Programms zu finden ist. (Hierzu wird der USB-Dongle 66000036 benötigt!)
ACHTUNG: Verwenden Sie nur für das Gerät vorgesehene Firmware Dateien, da ansonsten die Fernbedienung
beschädigt werden kann!

Im Folgenden werden beide Tastenbelegungs-Schemas erläutert:
(66000025) Neu:
Durch den Schieberegler, wird eine Festfarbe aus der hinterlegten Farbtabelle aufgerufen. Diese Farbtabelle kann
mit der Software „ProCEd“ und USB-Dongle geändert werden (stellen Sie sicher, dass sich die Fernsteuerung
nicht im Stromsparmodus befindet).
Die Funktionstasten sind über die Software einstellbar und sind im Auslieferungszustand wie folgt belegt:
- Funktionstaste weiß Programm +
- Funktionstaste blau Programm -
- Funktionstaste grün Farbe +
- Funktionstaste rot Farbe -
Mit einer kurzen Betätigung der Power-Taste können Sie die Steuergeräte abschalten. Wenn die Power
Taste länger als 5 Sekunden gedrückt bleibt, wird die aktuelle Einstellung als Startprogramm (nach Anlegen der
Versorgungsspannung) hinterlegt, hierbei schalten sich die Steuergeräte auch ab.
Über die Dimm-Taste wird die Fernbedienung in die zweite Ebene geschaltet, zu erkennen an der blinkenden
Status LED. Durch ein erneutes Drücken dieser Taste wird die zweite Ebene auch wieder verlassen. Sobald nach
15 Sekunden keine Eingabe in der zweiten Ebene getätigt wird, wechselt die Fernbedienung automatisch wieder
in die erste Ebene.
In der zweiten Ebene ändert sich Funktion der Tasten wie folgt:
Der Schieberegler wird zur Dimmerleiste. Der eingestellte Dimmwert gilt auch für Farbprogramme. Durch
vorhergehendes Auswählen einer Farbe durch die vier Funktionstasten kann die Helligkeit dieser Farbe geregelt
werden.
Durch das Betätigen der Power-Taste wird der aktuelle Farbverlauf pausiert. Bei Verwendung dieser Kombination
wird die zweite Ebene automatisch verlassen. Bei erneutem Drücken dieser Kombination wird das pausierte
Programm wieder fortgesetzt.
(66000045) Klassisch:
Wird der Schieberegler ohne vorherige Betätigung einer Funktionstaste bewegt, wird eine Festfarbe aus der
hinterlegten Farbtabelle aufgerufen. Diese Farbtabelle kann mit der Software „ProCEd“ und USB-Dongle geändert
werden (stellen Sie sicher, dass sich die Fernsteuerung nicht im Stromsparmodus befindet).
Wird erst eine Funktionstaste (z.B. rot) gedrückt, wird mit dem Schieberegler die Helligkeit dieser Farbe geregelt;
diese Funktion bleibt für ca. 3 Sekunden nach Betätigung dieser Funktionstaste aktiv – zu erkennen an der
blinkenden Status LED.
Bei kurzem Druck auf die Dimm-Taste wird der Schieberegler zur Dimmerleiste, zu erkennen an der
blinkenden Status LED. Dieser Dimmwert gilt dann auch für die Farbprogramme. Zugleich werden bei kurzem
Druck auf die Dimm-Taste die Farbtasten als Funktionstasten geschaltet, die Belegung ist wie folgt:
- Funktionstaste weiß Programm + (ist über Software einstellbar)
- Funktionstaste blau Programm - (ist über Software einstellbar)
- Funktionstaste grün Colour + (ist über Software einstellbar)
- Funktionstaste rot Colour - (ist über Software einstellbar)
Mit der Power-Taste kann das aktuelle Programm, in der aktuellen Farbe, angehalten werden. Bei
nochmaliger Betätigung wird das Programm wieder fortgesetzt. Wenn die Power Taste länger als 3 Sek gedrückt
wird, werden die Steuergeräte ausgeschaltet. Hinzu kann durch langen Druck der Taste (länger als 10 Sek) das
aktuelle Programm als Startprogramm nach Anlegen der Versorgungsspannung hinterlegt werden, hierbei
schalten sich die Steuergeräte ab.

6. Vernetzung
Im einfachsten Fall wird nur ein einzelnes Modul betrieben: Die Fernbedienung muss daher nur mit einem einzigen
Modul kommunizieren. Die Werkseinstellungen sind so, dass jedes Modul auf jede Fernsteuerung mit
Werkseinstellung reagiert (Netz 10). Mithilfe der PC Software „ProCEd“ und dem USB-Dongle können Gruppen
gebildet werden, so lassen sich mehrere Netze unabhängig voneinander betreiben.
Die Fernbedienung spricht immer alle Geräte in Reichweite an, sollte der Master nicht dabei sein, wird dieser
immer wieder seine Einstellungen weitergeben. Daher ist es wichtig, dass der Master in Reichweite der
Fernbedienung ist.

Anmerkung zur Reichweite: Die Fernbedienung verwendet eine (schwächere) interne Antenne als die
CHROMOFLEX
®
Pro Module oder der USB-Dongle. Die Reichweite der Fernbedienung ist daher geringer als
die der Module.
7. Lieferumfang und Zubehör
Jede CHROMOFLEX
®
Pro Fernbedienung RGB wird mit (dieser) Anleitung geliefert. Sie ist Bestandteil des
Lieferumfangs für das Gerät und muss dem Endverbraucher ausgehändigt werden.

1. Introduction
CHROMOFLEX
®
Pro is an advancement of CHROMOFLEX
®
I, II and RC. The PRO version consists of up to
4 channels (for modern R-G-B-W LEDs - Art. 66000034) and is totally radio controlled.
For control and settings either CHROMOFLEX
®
Pro remote control (Art. 66000045) or CHROMOFLEX
®
Pro
USB dongle (for PC/Art. 66000036) are necessary.
CHROMOFLEX
®
Pro was designed so that sophisticated illuminations in the field of decoration and wellness
can be attained even without programming. The unit is equipped with various colour effects by default such as:
colours, calming colour changes, even show effects. Some of them can be edited or set as standard effect by
radio control.
Several CHROMOFLEX
®
Pro can be linked in a network, whereas all colour changes/scenes (except. random
effects) are in sync within the network automatically. Therefore sophisticated illuminations can be attained with a
minimum of effort. Operating range depends on room conditions. Operation of up to 300 metres should be possible
outdoors. Indoors an operating range of 20- 50 metres should be unproblematic.
2. Usage
Colours and effects of the CHROMOFLEX
®
Pro can be controlled by remote control. Settings being made can
be stored on the CHROMOFLEX
®
Pro . After reconnecting the supply voltage, the desired colour or effect is set
as start program. For operation the remote control is equipped with solid-state touch keys / slider.
CHROMOFLEX
®
Pro series operates on a frequency of 868.3 MHz (licence-free in EU, Switzerland, Norway
and Iceland).

4. Safety instructions
The unit is equipped with a built-in protection against reverse polarity. Connecting the power in reverse polarity
can destroy the module, even if connected for a short time only.
Please remove and replace empty batteries because they could leak.
We decline any liability, loss or damage caused by improperly used modules! Guarantee is also lost in such cases.
This product is not a toy, keep away from children!
5. Operation
Please operate this unit only when it is working properly.
In case of an error, switch off the unit immediately. Do not operate the unit, until the unit was verified electronically
by a qualified electrician.
A case of error is:
- Visible signs of damage on the unit
- The unit is not operating properly
- fume rising or crackling sounds from the unit
- Visible signs of overheating
5.1 Start-up
Please insert 3V button cell into the remote control. Loosen, the screws on the back of the remote control. Please
insert the batteries with correct polarity, because otherwise the remote control may be damaged (guarantee is
lost in such a case). Close housing again. The red LED on the right side will flicker for about 15 minutes every 5
seconds. After about 15 minutes, the remote control automatically switches to power saving mode, which when
pressing any key. To program the remote control using the "ProCEd" software, the unit must be in normal mode,
not in power saving mode.

There are two ways (New and Classic) for the key assignment, which can be changed at any time. The necessary
files can be found on our website www.barthelme.de. The change of firmware works with the "ProCEd" software
via the "Update Device Firmware" button, which is found in the "Setup" section of the program.
(The USB-Dongle 66000036 is required!)
CAUTION: Only use the firmware files for the specific devices, otherwise the remote can be damaged!

Keypad explanation for both versions:
(66000025) New:
With the slider a colour from the colour templates can be chosen. This colour template can be edited using
“ProCEd” software and USB dongle. (Make sure that the remote control is not in power saving mode).
The function keys can be set by using the software and are in the delivery state assigned as follows:
- Function key white Program +
- Function key blue Program -
- Function key green Colour +
- Function key red Colour -
By pressing the “Power key” the controller will be turned off. The start program can be stored by pressing the
“Power key” for more than 5 seconds, after the supply voltage is attached. In this case the controllers will be
turned off.
A press on the “Dim key´” switch the remote control to the second level. This can be noticed by the blinking
LED. By pressing this key again, the second level is left. Once after 15 seconds no entry is made in the second
level, the remote control automatically returns to the first level.
The key functions in the second level, change as follows:
The slider turns to a dimmer. This dim value also applies for the colour changes. By previously selecting a colour
with the four function keys, the brightness of this colour can be controlled. When a function key (e.g. red) is
pressed first, the slider will control the brightness of this colour.
Pressing the “Power key” pauses the current program. By using this combination, the second level is exited
automatically. Pressing this combination again, the paused program is continued.
(66000045) Classic:
When the slider is used, without having pressed one of the funktion keys, a colour from the colour templates can
be chosen.
This colour template can be edited using “ProCEd” software and USB dongle.
When a funktion key (e.g. red) is pressed first, the slider will control the brightness of this colour. This feature will
remain activated for 3 seconds –status LED is blinking
A short press on the key and the dim feature is activated on the slider which can be noticed by a blinking
LED. This dim value also applies for the colour changes.
A short press of the dim key also activates the feature keys.
Keypad configuration as follows:
- Function key white program + ( editable via software)
- Function key blue program - (editable via software)
- Function key green colour + (editable via software)
- Function key red colour - (editable via software)
The running program can be stopped by pressing the “Power key” . By pressing the “Power key” again, the
program will continue.
When the “Power key” is pressed for more than 3 seconds, the controller will be turned off.
The start program can be stored by pressing the “Power key” for more than 10 seconds, after the supply voltage
is attached. In this case the controllers will be turned off.

6. Networking
A basic application is using one CHROMOFLEX
®
Pro and either remote control or USB dongle. Both units have
to be set on the same net. This is also the default factory setup mode (default: network 10). When using the
software “ProCEd”, various groups can be set to control several nets independently.
The remote control responds to all units within radio range. If the master is out of this range, it will proceed sending
his settings to the slaves. Therefore, it is important that the master is within the range of the remote control.

Note about the range: The Radio Remote Control has a less strong antenna than the CHROMOFLEX
®
Pro
units or the USB dongle. Normally the range of the Radio Remote Control is below the range of the master to the
other units.

Pro RGB remote control is shipped with this manual. The instructions are an integral
part of the equipment to which they relate and must be handed to the user.
