5.2 Operation
Important Tips for Optimal Toasting Result
•At the same settings of the browning time, the toasting result varies depending
on the different characteristics of bread (moisture, type of bread, size and
thickness of slices).
•Set shorter browning time when toasting dry, smaller or thinner slices or when
toasting only one slice.
•Set longer browning time or carry out 2 toasting processes when toasting thicker
bread slices.
•The cut surface of bread slices should be as smooth as possible in order to
achieve a uniform toasting result.
•Remove loose crumbs or protruding bread components, e.g. grains, before
toasting because they can burn.
•Let longer browning time for the slices with an uneven surface.
•For uniform result of toasting, toast one type of bread at a time.
•Take into account that during several operations one after another the toaster
becomes hotter and toasted slices become more browned accordingly. If
necessary, set shorter browning time for subsequent toasting processes.
•The browning time can be changed also during the toasting process by rotating
the timer.
