• Connect a HDMI cable (not included)
from the HDMI output on the rear panel
of the PVR to the corresponding HDMI
input of your HD TV or amplifier using
the HDMI cable for both video and audio
connections.
• Make sure you have the supplied loop
cable connected as shown on the image
on the right. The loop cable is required to
record two channels at the same time.
• Insert the female jack of the loop cable to
the OUT1 socket and the male jack to the
IN2 socket.

NOTE:
• A HDMI cable is NOT supplied with this
product.
• If a HDMI cable is not available, please
refer to pages 6-7 of the Instruction
Manual for Composite Video and YPbPr
connection options.

POWER CONNECTION & START-UP
• Plug the power cord into the mains power socket.
• Press the button on the remote control (or at the front panel) to turn on the power to the unit.
The first time installation message will appear on the screen.
• Make sure the bandwidth is set to 7MHz and press OK to begin automatic channel search. When
scanning is complete, all active digital channels found will be stored automatically in the channel
lists. Use the TV/RADIO button to select either TV or Radio, then press OK to view the list of
available digital channels.

6KEY BUTTONS AND COMMANDS
POWER: Switch the product
on or to standby.
VOL+/-: Turn the volume
up/down.
MENU: Display the main
PVR menu.
PAUSE: Activate
time-shift mode.
MUTE: Mute the sound; press
again or press V+ to restore
the sound.
CH+/-: Press to play the next
or previous channel; press
repeatedly to scan through
the channels.
INFO: Display current
program information.
EPG: Launch the Electronic
Program Guide.
TIMER: Access the scheduled
programs list.
RECORD: Record live TV.
INDEX: Display the
recorded program list.
