General Information
oThi appliance i de igned for dome tic hou ehold u e and can
be built into a tandard kitchen cabinet or hou ing unit.
oIMPORTANT: The adjacent furniture or housing and all
materials used in the installation must be able to withstand a
minimum temperature of 85°C above the ambient temperature
of the room it is located in, whilst in use.
oCertain type of vinyl or laminate kitchen furniture are
particularly prone to heat damage or di colouration at
temperature below the guideline given above.
oAny damage cau ed by the appliance being in talled in
contravention of thi temperature limit, or by placing adjacent
cabinet material clo er than 4mm to the appliance, will be the

This appliance must be correctly installed by a
suitably qualified person, strictly in accordance
with the manufacturer’s instructions

Cooling fan
oA tangential cooling fan i fitted in ide of the e appliance , to
make the internal temperature of the oven table and the
external urface temperature lower.
oAfter you have fini hed cooking and witched off the oven, the
cooling fan will continue to run for a period of time afterward .
The length of time will depend on how long the oven ha been
witched on for and at how high a temperature.
For future reference plea e record the following information which can
be found on the rating plate and the date of purcha e which can be
found on your ale invoice. The rating plate for your oven can be
located by opening the oven door and looking on the right hand ide of
the oven cha i .

Selecting manual operation mode
Before you can select a cooking function or set a temperature,
you must set the appliance into manual operation mode
oTurn the manual operation control knob (3) anti-clockwi e, o
that it point to the word ON.
Setting the minute minder function
You are able to set the minute minder at any time, regardless
of whether an oven function has been selected You can set a
period of time using the minute minder function and an alarm
will sound when this period of time has elapsed
oThe minute minder can be u ed independently of an oven
cooking function for a time period of up to 120 minute .
oTo et the timer, turn the minute minder control knob (3)
clockwi e to the required countdown time.
oDO NOT turn the minute minder control knob (3) pa t the 120
minute marking.
oDO NOT turn the minute minder control knob (3) anti-clockwi e
pa t the word ON.
oThe time period that ha been et will expire when the control
knob reache zero, a brief audible ignal will ound and the oven
will witch off.
Before you next use the oven, you MUST turn the
minute minder control knob (3) anti-clockwise, so
that it points at the word ON Otherwise the oven
will not work

Selecting manual operation mode
After your appliance is connected to your mains supply for the
first time, the numbers on the timer display will flash Before
you can select a cooking function or set a temperature, you
must set the appliance into “manual operation” mode
oTo elect manual operation mode, pre the manual operation
button (9) on the control panel.
Setting the time of da
After setting your oven for manual operation, you should also
set the time of day
oAfter pre ing the manual operation button (9), u e the minu
button (10) and plu button (11) to adju t the time that
appear in the di play. After getting the di play to the correct
time, relea e the minu and plu button . After a few econd
the time will fix in the di play and you will be able to u e your
oven.
The oven timer
oOnly the minute minder can be u ed with the defro t oven
function. None of the other timer mode will work with the
defro t function.
Setting the minute minder function
You are able to set the minute minder at any time, regardless
of whether an oven function has been selected You can set a
period of time using the minute minder function and an alarm
will sound when that period of time has elapsed
oPre the minute minder button (6), the di play will how a
value of 00:00. Set the period of time that you wi h the minute
minder to countdown for, by u ing the minu (10) and plu
(11) button .
oOnce the di play ha got to your de ired countdown time, let go
of the minu and plu button . The minute minder ymbol (13)
will appear on the timer di play.
oOnce a countdown time ha been et, it i po ible to horten or
lengthen the time by u ing the minu or plu button .
oAn alarm will ound when the countdown time ha elap ed. The
alarm can be ilenced by pre ing the minute minder button.

oImportant: The oven will continue to heat once the alarm has
been silenced. If you have finished coo ing, then you should turn
the oven function selector and thermostat control nob to 0.
Setting the duration function
This function will allow you to set a countdown time similar to
the minute minder function However the oven will no longer
continue to heat, once the countdown period has elapsed
oU e the thermo tat control knob (3) to et the temperature that
you require. The manual operation ymbol (14) will appear on
the di play.
oU e the oven function elector knob (1) to elect the mode of
cooking that you require.
oIt i then po ible to et the duration of the cooking time that
you require.
oPre the duration button (7) and the di play will how a value
of 00:00. Set the period of time that you wi h the duration
function to countdown for, by u ing the minu (10) and plu
(11) button .
oOnce the di play ha got to your de ired countdown time, let go
of the minu and plu button . The countdown will tart
immediately and the word AUTO will appear on the timer di play.
oOnce a countdown time ha been et, it i po ible to horten or
lengthen the time by u ing the minu or plu button .
oAn alarm will ound when the countdown time ha elap ed and
the oven will witch off. The word AUTO will fla h and the
heating ymbol will di appear. The alarm can be ilenced by
pre ing the duration button.

the “manual operation” button, the word AUTO will di appear
from the di play and the manual operation ymbol will appear
in tead.
oImportant: If you do not turn the thermostat control nob and
oven function selector nob to 0, then the appliance will continue
to operate as soon as you press the manual operation button.

Setting the end cook function
This function is similar to the duration function, however
instead of selecting a period of time that you wish the oven to
switch off after You select the time of day that you wish the
oven to switch off at
oU e the thermo tat control knob (3) to et the temperature that
you require. The manual operation ymbol (14) will appear on
the di play.
oU e the oven function elector knob (1) to elect the mode of
cooking that you require.
oPre the end cook button (8) and the di play will how the
current time of day. Set the time of day that you wi h the oven
to top cooking at by u ing the minu (10) and plu (11)
button . The timer will calculate how long the cooking time will
be, ba ed on the time of day that you have elected and how it
on the di play.
oOnce the di play ha got to the time of day that you want the
oven to top cooking at, let go of the minu and plu button .
The countdown will tart immediately and the word AUTO will
appear on the timer di play.
oWhen the time i et, it can be modified by pre ing the minu
and plu button .
oWhen the time of day reache the end of cooking time that you
et, the oven will witch off and an alarm will ound. The word
AUTO will fla h and the heating ymbol will di appear. The
alarm can be ilenced by pre ing the “end cook” button.
oYou will need to return the oven to manual operation mode, once
the end cook function ha been u ed. To do thi you hould
pre the manual operation button, the word AUTO will
di appear from the di play and the manual operation ymbol will
appear in tead.
oImportant: If you do not turn the thermostat control nob and
oven function selector nob to 0, then the appliance will continue
to operate as soon as you press the “manual operation” button.

Setting the start and end time function
This function will allow you to set a time in the future that the
oven switches on at and a time that the oven will switch off at
oU e the thermo tat control knob (3) to et the temperature that
you require. The manual operation ymbol (14) will appear on
the di play.
oU e the oven function elector knob (1) to elect the mode of
cooking that you require.
oPre the duration button (7) and the di play will how a value

oWhen the time of day reache the end of cooking time that you
et, the oven will witch off and an alarm will ound. The word
AUTO will fla h and the heating ymbol will di appear. The alarm
can be ilenced by pre ing the end cook or duration button.
oYou will need to return the oven to manual operation mode, once
the tart and end time function ha been u ed. To do thi you
hould pre the manual operation button, the word AUTO will
di appear from the di play and the manual operation ymbol will
appear in tead.
oImportant: If you do not turn the thermostat control nob and
oven function selector nob to 0, then the appliance will continue
to operate as soon as you press the manual operation button.

Adjusting the audible signal
oThe audible ignal ha three different etting , low, medium and
high.
oTo adju t the level of the audible ignal, make ure that the
timer i in manual mode. Then pre and hold the minu button
and you will hear the current level that i et.
oPre the minu button again and the audible ignal will adju t to
the next level.
oWhen the required level of audible ignal i reached, relea e the
minu button and it will be et.
Selecting a cooking function and temperature
Before first use
oTo remove any re idue from the oven that may have been left
from the manufacturing proce , you hould elect the fan oven
function and et the thermo tat to it maximum temperature
etting.
oIt i perfectly normal for a mell to be produced during thi
proce .
oYou hould make ure that any window in the room are left
open during thi proce .
oIt i advi able for you not to remain in the room whil t the
burning off proce i taking place.
oYou hould leave the oven on maximum etting for 30 – 40
minute .
oAfter the oven cavity ha cooled, it hould then be cleaned with
warm oapy water, u ing either a ponge or oft cloth. No
abra ive cleaner hould be u ed.
oOuter part of the oven hould be cleaned with warm oapy
water, u ing either a ponge or oft cloth. No abra ive cleaner
hould be u ed.
oWe would recommend that an appropriate tainle teel cleaner
and poli h i regularly u ed on the tainle teel urface of thi
appliance.
