Getting Started
Video Intercom Systems (BA Multi-Tenant/BE Villa)
Congratulations on your new Video Intercom System! At BEC Integrated Solutions, we are proud to provide
secure, reliable solutions for your home or business. This user manual is to help answer
any operational questions that you may encounter throughout your system’s lifetime.
The door panel included with your system should have been installed and programmed to
ring your unit when the corresponding button is pressed at the door station.
If your unit is equipped with an RF Card Reader, swipe the card/key-fob given by your
system administrator at the panel and the door will unlock.
Door Entry
Door Panel - Model BA2-DSZ
With the BA2-DSZ 2-Wire door panel, instead of having one button per apartment, there
is a keypad and a room number assigned to your unit. Once the room number is
entered, the assigned room monitor(s) will ring.
The user at the indoor station may press the unlock key on the monitor during the call to
grant entry. Press the ‘#’ sign to cancel a call or any action at any time.
To gain entry to the building using the RF Reader, swipe the key fob or key card given by
the owner in front of the reader and the door will click open.
To gain entry to the building using the Residential Passcode (provided by the installer/
owner), Press *, enter your Room Number/ID, then enter your Passcode.
(Ex. * + 001 + 1234)
If you’d like to change your password or if you don’t have a passcode and you would
like to set one up, please contact your system administrator.

Villa Indoor Monitor (4-Wire, Model No. BE-XXX-XV)
The indoor monitor included with the Villa system has four illuminated
buttons on the face, and three scrolling adjusters on the edge
for Volume, Brightness, and Contrast.
The blue illuminated buttons from left to right are Monitor,
Alarm/Concierge (if applicable), Unlock, and Talk/Listen.
For an incoming call, press Talk to answer then talk as you would
normally.
You may press Unlock only during the initial ring or during the call to
release the door latch to allow entry.
Press the Monitor button to view the camera at the door station any time the monitor is off.
To change the Volume, press and hold Talk until you hear the tone, then press Monitor to cycle through the
different volume levels. Once chosen, hold Talk again to save your selection.
Indoor Monitor Recording
If your Villa system includes the optional Picture Memory room station (Model No. BE-XXX-XRV), there are 5
buttons on the side of the panel for controlling this feature (Menu, Up, Down, Left, Right). With this
feature, the monitor will record one still image for each call that is received at that station. While
the display is active, you can scroll through past images using the controls. You may also adjust
additional settings (date/time, display settings, etc.) using the on-screen menus.

The indoor monitor included with the Multi-Tenant system has four illuminated buttons on the face, and
