ATTACHING TO A MX-1000 M2M ROUTER

Attach and fasten the BEC USB Connector to the
MX-100U and MX-1000 router using (2) small screws
(4.5mm) included in the box of the USB Connector.
KIT CONTAINS: Bracket plate, USB connector with 4 screws, 6 Washers, 7 Machine Screws, and 4 Round-Head Screws
The kit is designed to securely attach the MX-100U on top of the MX-1000 to offer additional WAN/Cellular Connectivity.
No additional drivers required. Simply attach and ready to go.
Remove the screws from the back of the MX-100U.

Attach and fasten the Bracket (known as bracket plate)
on top of the MX-100U using two (2) round-head screws
included in the kit.

link here:

Then click the Resource tab.
Click Next to
continue

Sierra Wireless Skylight is a connection manager application which is compatible with MX-100U
for connection management, APN profile configuration, and signal & speed display. For more
information, please visit Sierra Wireless (www.sierrawireless.com) or contact your BEC Sales
representative.

finishes to

Installation
Complete!
Click Finish to
exit
Sierra® Wireless Skylight icon will
appear on your desktop after driver
installation is completed.
The Skylight application will pop up
when MX-100U is plugged. Otherwise,
manually click to start the application.
Click on
Click here to change
your connection/APN
settings
Select configuration icons in User Options then
entered all information provided by your Cellular
Provider. Example: Select Profile to change APN and
turn on Autoconnect. Click OK to save and exit
Click the drop-down to select
your carrier from the carrier
list.
