Anwendung
Das Bluetooth-DALI-Gateway für die
Hutschienenmontage ermöglicht die
Einrichtung und Verwaltung einer
DALI-Anlage per Smartphone über die
kostenlose App BEGA Tool.
Bis zu 64Leuchten mit DALI-Betriebsgeräten
können in eine Anlage integriert und in Gruppen
und Szenen verwendet werden.
Das Bluetooth-DALI-Gateway ist mit nahezu
allen BEGA DALI-Komponenten kompatibel.
Informieren Sie sich vorher im App Store
oder Play Store, ob auch ihre geplanten
Komponenten in Verbindung mit dem
Bluetooth-DALI-Gateway in Betrieb genommen
werden können.
Application
The Bluetooth DALI gateway for DIN rail
mounting allows you to set up and manage a
DALI system via a smartphone using the free
BEGA Tool app.
Up to 64luminaires with DALI operating
devices can be integrated into a system and
used in groups and scenarios.
The Bluetooth DALI gateway is compatible with
almost all BEGA DALI components.
Find out beforehand via the app store or play
store whether your planned components can
be operated with the Bluetooth DALI gateway.
Utilisation
La passerelle Bluetooth-DALI pour le montage
sur rail DIN permet l’installation et la gestion
d’une installation DALI par smartphone avec
l’application gratuite BEGA Tool.
Jusqu’à 64luminaires équipés d’appareillages
DALI peuvent être intégrés à une installation et
utilisés en groupes et scénarios.
La passerelle Bluetooth DALI est compatible
avec presque tous les composants DALI de
BEGA.
Vériez au préalable dans l’App Store ou Play
Store que les composants que vous prévoyez
d’installer peuvent être mis en service avec la

Montage
Die Montage und Inbetriebnahme darf nur

Dem Bluetooth-DALI-Gateway sollte eine
geeignete Trennvorrichtung vorgeschaltet
werden, um diesen von der Stromversorgung
trennen zu können.
Bluetooth-DALI-Gateway auf Hutschiene
befestigen.
Elektrischen Anschluss von L, N und
DA/DA vornehmen. Dabei auf phasenrichtigen
Anschluss von Lund Nachten!
Nicht belegte Teileinheiten in der
Unterverteilung sind berührungssicher
abzudecken.
Nach dem Einschalten der Netzspannung blinkt
die grüne Status-LED im Sekundentakt und
signalisiert somit, dass das Gateway in Betrieb
genommen werden kann.
Installation
Installation and commissioning may only be
carried out by a qualied electrician.
An appropriate circuit-breaker must be
integrated upstream of the Bluetooth DALI
gateway to allow its disconnection from the
power supply.
Mount the Bluetooth DALI gateway on the
DINrail.
Establish electrical connections at L, N and
DA/DA. Ensure in-phase connection of
LandN!
Unused sub-feeders in the sub-distribution
must be insulated to prevent contact.
After switching on the power supply, the
green status LED ashes at one-second
intervals to signal that the gateway is ready for
commissioning.
Installation

Un dispositif de déconnexion approprié
doit être branché en amont de la passerelle
Bluetooth-DALI en vue de pouvoir la
déconnecter de l’alimentation électrique.
Fixer la passerelle Bluetooth-DALI sur le
railDIN.
Procéder au raccordement électrique des ls
L, N et DA/DA. Veiller au bon raccordement
électrique des phases Let N!
Les sous-unités qui n’ont pas été utilisées en
amont doivent être isolées contre tout contact.
Après l’allumage de la tension réseau, la LED
d’état verte clignote toutes les secondes pour
signaler que la passerelle peut être mise en
service.

Zur Inbetriebnahme wird ein Smartphone oder
Tablet mit der App BEGA Tool benötigt.
Um ein Auftreten von unerwarteten Fehlern
und Zuständen auszuschließen, empfehlen
wir, die Adressierung und Parametrierung
der DALI-Anlage ausschließlich über das
Bluetooth-DALI-Gateway in Kombination mit
der AppBEGATool vorzunehmen.
Laden Sie die App für Android und iOS
herunter.
Erstellen Sie ein Projekt und fügen Sie das
Bluetooth-DALI-Gateway als Einstiegspunkt
hinzu.
Den zur Inbetriebnahme erforderlichen QR-
Code nden Sie auf dem Gehäuse.
Sollte zur Parametrierung oder Steuerung ein
anderes oder weiteres Smartphone angedacht
sein, kann in der App BEGA Tool die Funktion
„Teilen“ ausgewählt werden.
Andernfalls muss das Gateway auf
Werkseinstellungen zurückgesetzt werden.
Wählen Sie in der App das Bluetooth-DALI-
Gateway aus und folgen Sie den Anweisungen.
Die grüne Bluetooth-LED blinkt (2x/Sekunde),
wenn eine Bluetooth-Verbindung zum
Gateway aufgebaut wurde. Eine erfolgreiche
Inbetriebnahme des Gateways wird durch die
dauerhaft grün leuchtende Bluetooth-LED
angezeigt.
Startup procedure
A smartphone or tablet PC with the BEGA Tool
app is required for commissioning.
To prevent the occurrence of unexpected faults
or error states, we recommend using only the
Bluetooth DALI gateway in combination with
the BEGA Tool app to address and parametrise
the DALI system.
Download the app for Android or iOS.
Create a project and add the Bluetooth DALI
Gateway as your starting point.
The QR code needed for start-up can be found
on the housing.
Select the "Share" function in the BEGA Tool
app if you want to use a different or additional
smartphone for the conguration or control.
Alternatively, the gateway will have to be reset
to its factory settings.
Select the Bluetooth DALI gateway in the app
and follow the instructions provided.
The green Bluetooth LED ashes (2x per
second) once a Bluetooth connection to the
gateway has been established. Successful
commissioning of the gateway is indicated by
the continuously lit green Bluetooth LED.
Mise en service
La mise en service nécessite un smartphone ou
une tablette sur lequel l’application BEGA Tool
est installée.
Pour exclure la survenue d’erreurs et de
situations inattendues, nous conseillons de
procéder à l’adressage et au paramétrage de
l’installation DALI uniquement via la passerelle
Bluetooth-DALI et avec l’application BEGA
Tool.
Téléchargez l’application pour Android et iOS.
Créez un projet et ajoutez la passerelle
Bluetooth-DALI en tant que point de départ.
Vous trouverez le code QR nécessaire à la mise
en service sur le boîtier.
Pour le paramétrage ou la gestion avec un
smartphone différent (ou supplémentaire),
sélectionner la fonction «Partager» dans
l’application BEGA Tool.
Autrement, les paramètres d’usine de la
passerelle devront être réinitialisés.
Dans l’application, sélectionnez la passerelle
DALI Bluetooth et suivez les instructions.
La LED Bluetooth verte clignote 2 fois par
seconde lorsqu’une connexion Bluetooth a été
établie avec la passerelle. La LED Bluetooth
verte qui reste allumée sans clignoter indique la
mise en service correcte de la passerelle.

Fehlerbehebung
Um im Fehlerfall das Gateway neu zu
starten, muss die Reset-Taste für länger als
3Sekunden, aber weniger als 9Sekunden
gedrückt gehalten werden oder die
Netzspannung für mindestens 3Sekunden
unterbrochen werden.
Bei Nutzung der Variante mit der Reset-Taste
blinken die grüne und rote Bluetooth-LED zur
Bestätigung 3x auf.
Um auf Werkseinstellung zurückzusetzen, muss
die Reset-Taste mindestens 10Sekunden lang
gedrückt werden.
Die grüne und rote Bluetooth-LED blinken zur
Bestätigung 5x auf.
Des Weiteren kann das Gateway auch in der
App BEGA Tool zurückgesetzt werden.
Troubleshooting
To restart the gateway in the event of an
error, press and hold the Reset button for at
least 3 seconds but less than 9 seconds, or
disconnect the mains voltage for at least 3
seconds.
When using the variant with the reset button,
the green and red Bluetooth LED ash 3 times
for conrmation.
To reset to factory settings, the reset button
must be pressed for at least 10seconds.
The green and red Bluetooth LED will ash 5
times for conrmation.
The gateway can also be reset via the BEGA
Tool app.
Dépannage
Pour redémarrer la passerelle en cas d’erreur,
maintenir la touche de réinitialisation enfoncée
pendant plus de 3secondes mais moins de
9secondes, ou bien couper la tension réseau
pendant au moins 3secondes.
Lors de l’utilisation de la variante avec la
