Brief Introduction
The intelligent input terminal (KPID-9808 Intelligent Keypad) is an
intelligent input device. It has built-in CPU, LCD character display and dual
RS-485 communication interface. The main function of the device is to
realize the ability of controlling locale display devices by the way of data
input by the operator to update the center database in system server. The
input terminal is connected to the system server via RS485 interface.

Key Function Description
BOARD
ON/OFF When display board is off, turn it on;
When display board is on, turn it off.
This function is available when USER_ID and
PASSWORD is checked by the system
Adjust date and
time This function is available when date and time
is displayed on the LCD panel of the input
terminal.

Maintenance Guide
1. When the input terminal is connected to the system properly, in the
display of date and time, the top-right corner of the LCD display should show
"-", "/", "|", "\" characters sequentially.
2. Even though the input terminals is operated in networking condition,
when failure occurs on one input terminal, it will not affect the devices in the
same network branch commonly. But in very special condition, the devices
in the same networking branch will not operate normally. When this
happened, please replace the failure device.
