Important instructions for safety
and environment
This section contains safety instructions that will
help protect from risk of personal injury or property
damage. Failure to follow these instructions shall
void any warranty.
1.1 General safety
•Do not dismantle the appliance under any
circumstances.
•Never operate or place any part of this appliance on
or near to hot surfaces such as gas burner, electric
burner or heated oven.
•The hand mixer should be used on high speed for
no longer than 10 minutes. Let the appliance cool
down to room temperature before further use.
•Operate the appliance with delivered parts only.
•Do not touch any moving parts on this appliance.
Wait until the appliance has come to a complete
standstill. Remember that long hair, loose clothing,
jewellery and kitchen utensils could pose a danger
should they get caught in the mixer.

•While the appliance is in operation, do not put any
objects into the moving parts. There is a risk of
injury.
•To avoid splashes, put the whisk/dough hook
completely into the food mixture first before
switching on the mixer.
•Do not use the appliance with damp or wet hands.
•Check if the mains voltage on the rating label
corresponds to your local mains supply. The only
way to disconnect the appliance from the mains is
to pull out the plug.
•For additional protection, this appliance should be
connected to a household faulty current protection
switch with no more than 30 mA.
•Do not immerse the appliance, power cord or power
plug in water or in other liquids.
•Disconnect the power plug after using the
appliance, before cleaning the appliance, before
leaving the room or if a fault occurs. Do not
disconnect the plug by pulling on the cord.

•Never use the appliance if the power cord or the
appliance is damaged.
•Our BEKO Household Appliances meet applicable
safety standards, thus if the appliance or power
cord is damaged, it must be repaired or replaced by
the dealer, a service centre or a similarly qualified
and authorized service person to avoid any dangers.
Faulty or unqualified repair work may cause danger
and risks to the user.
•Dry the appliance and all parts before connecting
it to the mains supply and before attaching the
accessories.
•The appliance is designed for domestic use only.
•Do not use the appliance outdoors.
•Keep the appliance and his cord always out of the
reach of children.

•The appliance should not be used by the following
persons, including children: those with limited
physical, sensory or mental capabilities and also
those with a lack of experience and knowledge.
This does not apply to the latter if they were

their safety. Children should always be supervised
to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
•Do not leave the appliance unattended as long as
it is in use. Extreme caution is advised when the
appliance is being used near children and people
with limited physical, sensory or mental capabilities.

1.2 Complance wth WEEE regulaton and
dsposal of the waste product
This product does not contain harmful and forbidden materials
described in the “Directive on the Restriction of the Use of
Certain Hazardous Substances in Waste Electrical and Electronic
Equipment” (WEEE) issued by the T.R. Ministry of Environment
and Urbanization. Complies with the WEEE Directive.
This product has been manufactured with high quality parts and materi-
als which can be reused and are suitable for recycling.Therefore, do not
dispose of the product with normal domestic waste at the end of its ser-
vice life. Take it to a collection point for the recycling of electrical and elec-
tronic equipment. Please consult your local authorities to learn the near-
est collection point. Help protect the environment and natural resources
by recycling used products. For children’s safety, cut the power cable and
break the locking mechanism of the loading door so that it will be non-
functional before disposing of the product.
1.3 Package nformaton
Packaging materials of the product are manufactured from re-
cyclable materials in accordance with our National Environment
Regulations. Do not dispose of the packaging materials together
with the domestic or other wastes. Take them to the packaging
material collection points designated by the local authorities.

3.1 Preparaton
1. Remove all packagng and stc-
ker materals and dspose of
them accordng to the applcable
legal regulaton.
2. Before usng of the applance for
frst tme, clean all parts whch
come nto contact wth water
carefully. (See the “Cleanng and
care” secton).
3.2 Operaton
1. Make sure that the power cord
has been dsconnected from the
wall socket and the speed cont-
rol and accessory release swtch
(3) s on speed 0 pror to attac-
hng the beater or dough hooks
to the mxer.
2. Insert the beaters (2A/2B) or
dough hooks (1A/1B) nto the ac-
cessory slots for beaters and do-
ugh hooks (6) on the mxer untl
they lock nto place.

3. Insert the plug nto the wall soc-
ket.
4. Hold the beaters (2A/2B) or do-
ugh hooks (1A/1B) nto the food
mxture before swtchng the
hand mxer on.
5. Set the speed control and ac-
cessory release swtch (3) on
the desred speed (1 to 5 speed
settngs).
–The applance begns to
operate.

Select a suitable
speed level, depend-
ing on the type of
food. While mixing,
you can press the
Turbo button (4)
to briefly raise the
speed level to the
maximum speed. The
speed of the Turbo
button (4) corre-
sponds to the level 5
of the speed control
and accessory re-
lease switch (3).

ing time of the hand
mixer does not ex-
ceed 3 minutes at a
time.
6. After you fnsh operaton, set
the speed control and accessory
release swtch (3) to speed 0.
After rotaton has been stop-
ped pull out the beaters / dough
hook from the food mxture.
7. Dsconnect the plug from the
wall socket.
8. Hold the beaters (2A/2B) or
dough hooks (1A/1B) wth one
hand and push the speed control
and accessory release swtch “2”.
–The beaters (2A/2B) or dough
hooks “6” wll be released.

3.3 Hnts and Tps
•Cold food, such as butter and
eggs should be brought to room
temperature pror to blendng
them. Thus leave these types of
food at room temperature for a
whle before mxng them.
•To avod mxng egg shells n wth
the food already n the contaner,
put them nto a separate
contaner frst. Then add them to
the mxture.
•Remember that clmatc
condtons, seasonal temperature
dfferences, temperature and
consstency of the ngredents
could affect the preparaton tme
necessary as well as the results.
•Always start blendng on a
low speed. Increase the speed
gradually untl you have reached
the recommended speed for the
food you are mxng.

4.1 Cleanng

WARNING: Never
use petrol, solvents
or abrasive cleaners,
metal objects or hard
brushes to clean the
appliance.
1. Turn the applance off and ds-
connect t from wall socket.
2. Let the applance cool down
completely.
3. Use a damp soft cloth and a lttle
mld cleanser to clean the exter-
or of the applance.
AWARNING:
Never
put the appliance or
power cord in water
or any other liquid.
4. Clean the beaters (2A/2B) or do-
ugh hooks (1A/1B) wth warm,
soapy water. Then rnse the be-
aters or dough hooks wth clear
water and dry them off thoro-
ughly. The beaters or dough
hooks can also be cleaned n the
dshwasher.
