manual as well. Follow all warnings and
information in the user manual.Throughout this

1 Important instructions for safety and environment
This section contains safety instructions
that will help protect from risk of
personal injury or property damage.
Failure to follow these instructions
shall invalidate any warranty.
1.1 General safety

CAUTION!
• This product can be used by
children at and above 8 years old
and by persons whose physical,
sensory or mental capabilities
were not fully developed or who
lack experience and knowledge
provided that they are supervised
or trained on the safe usage of the
product and the risks it brings out.
Children should not play with the
device. Cleaning and maintenance
works should not be performed by
children unless they are supervised
by someone. Children under the
age of 3 should be kept away
unless continuously supervised.

PRECAUTION!
• Never place the product on a
carpet-covered floor. Otherwise,
lack of airflow beneath the machine
will cause electrical parts to
overheat. This will cause problems
with your product.
• Adequate ventilation has to be
provided to avoid the back flow
of gases into the room from
appliances burning other fuels,
including open fires. Only for
ducted appliances.

PRECAUTION!
• The appliance must not be installed
behind a lockable door, a sliding
door or a door with a hinge on the
opposite side to that of the tumble
dryer in such a way that a full
opening of the tumble dryer door is
restricted.

• Always have the installation
procedures carried out by the
competent persons. Manufacturer
shall not be held liable for damages
that may arise from procedures
carried out by unauthorised persons.
1.1.1 Electrical safety

DANGER!
• If the product has a failure, it should
not be operated unless it is repaired
by the Authorised Service Agent.
There is the risk of electric shock!
• Never wash the product by
spreading or pouring water onto it!

• If the power cable is damaged,
it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, after sales service
or a similarly qualified person
(preferably an electrician) or
someone designated by the importer
in order to avoid possible risks.

• The appliance must not be
supplied through an external
switching device, such as a timer,
or connected to a circuit that is
regularly switched on and off by a
utility.

PRECAUTION!
• Unplug the product when it is not
in use.
• Never touch the plug with wet
hands! Never unplug by pulling on
the cable, always unplug by holding
the plug.
• Product should be unplugged
during installation, maintenance,
cleaning and repair procedures.
• Do not make connections via
extension cables or multi-plugs.

INFORMATION
• This product is designed to resume
operating in the event of powering
on after a power interruption. If you
wish to cancel the programme,
see “Cancelling the programme”
section.
1.1.2 Product safety

DANGER!
• Never open the loading door or
remove the filter while there is
still water in the drum. Otherwise,
risk of flooding and injury from hot
water will occur.

CAUTION!
• The water supply and draining
hoses must be securely fastened
and remain undamaged. Otherwise,
there is the risk of water leakage.

INFORMATION
• Do not force open the locked
loading door. The door will open
immediately after the washing
cycle has ended. If the machine
is not cooled enough at the end
of the programme, the loading
door cannot be opened. Wait for
the product to cool down. If the
door still does not open, apply the
solutions provided for “Loading
door cannot be opened” in the
Troubleshooting section. Do not
force the loading door to open.
The loading door and the lock
mechanism may get damaged.
• In the installation location of this
product, there must not be a
lockable, sliding or hinged door that
will restrict the full opening of the
loading door.
• Follow the instructions on the textile
tags and on the detergent package.
• Use only detergents, softeners and
supplements suitable for washing
machines.
• Do not install or leave this product
in places where it might be exposed
to outdoor conditions.
• Controls must not be tampered with.

INFORMATION
• If a non-self-resetting thermal cut-out
is required in order to comply with
the standard then the instructions for
appliances incorporating a non-self-
resetting thermal cutout that is reset
by disconnection of the supply mains
shall contain the substance of the
following:
CAUTION: In order to avoid a hazard
due to inadvertent resetting of the
thermal cut-out, this appliance must
not be supplied through an external
switching device, such as a timer, or
connected to a circuit that is regularly
switched on and off by the utility.
1.1.3 Warnings for drying
DANGER!
• Laundry that is previously washed,
cleaned, soiled or stained with
petrol / gasoline, dry cleaning
solvents or other flammable or
explosive substances must not be
dried in the machine as they give
out flammable or explosive steam.
It may cause fire risk.
• Lint must not be allowed to
accumulate around the dryer. Not
applicable for appliances intended
to be vented.
• DO NOT dry unwashed items in the
dryer.
DANGER!
• Laundry stained with Liquid
cooking oil, acetone, alcohol,
petrol, kerosene, spot removers,
turpentine, waxes and wax
removers must be washed in hot
water with plenty of detergent
before drying. It may cause fire risk.
• Oil-affected items can ignite
spontaneously, especially when
exposed to heat sources such as
a tumble dryer. The items become
warm, causing an oxidation
reaction in the oil. Oxidation creates
heat. If the heat cannot escape, the
items can become hot enough to
catch fire. Piling,stacking or storing
oil-affected items can prevent heat
from escaping and so create a fire
hazard.
• If it is unavoidable that fabrics
that contain vegetable or cooking
oil or have been contaminated by
hair care products be placed in a
tumble dryer they should first be
washed in hot water with extra
detergent – this will reduce, but not
eliminate, the hazard.
• Foam rubber (latex foam), shower
caps, waterproof textiles, clothes
or pillows with rubber support or
rubber foam pads must not be
dried with drying function. It may
cause fire risk.
• Fabric softeners or similar products
should be used as specified by the
fabric softener instructions.
