IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
WARNING: When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should
always be followed, including the following:
1. READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING APPLIANCE.
1. Read all instructions before using appliance.
2. Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
3. To protect against risk of electric shock, do not immerse or partially immerse
the cord, plugs, or the entire unit in water or any other liquid.
4. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children)
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience
and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
5. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
6. Unplug from wall outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool
before cleaning or storing this appliance.
7. Never yank the cord to disconnect the appliance from the outlet. Instead, grasp
the plug and pull to disconnect.

17. A short power-supply cord is to be provided to reduce the risk resulting from
becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord.
18. Longer extension cords are available and may be used if care is exercised
in their use.
19. If an extension cord is used:
a. The marked electrical rating of the detachable power-supply cord
or extension cord should be at least as great as the electrical rating
of the appliance,
b. If the appliance is of the grounded type, the extension cord should
be a grounding type 3-wire cord; and
c. The longer cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over
the counter top or table top where it can be pulled on by children
or tripped over unintentionally.
20. To disconnect, remove plug from outlet.
21. Always unplug after use. The appliance will remain ON unless unplugged.
22. CAUTION HOT SURFACES: This appliance generates heat during use.
Proper precautions must be taken to prevent the risk of burns, fire or other
damage to persons or property.

23. When using this appliance, provide adequate ventilation above and on all sides

NOTES ON ThE PLug
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other).
To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one
way. If the plug does not fit fully into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit,
contact a qualified electrician. Do not modify the plug in any way.
NOTES ON ThE COrd
The provided short power-supply cord (or detachable power-supply cord) should
be used to reduce the risk resulting from becoming entangled in or tripping over
a longer cord.
PLASTiCizEr WArNiNg
CAUTION: To prevent Plasticizers from migrating to the finish of the counter top
or table top or other furniture, place NON-PLASTIC coasters or place mats between
the appliance and the finish of the counter top or table top. Failure to do so may
cause the finish to darken; permanent blemishes may occur or stains can appear.
ELECTriC POWEr
If the electrical circuit is overloaded with other appliances, your appliance may
not operate properly. It should be operated on a separate electrical circuit from other
appliances.

Clean skillet as per instructions in MAINTAINING YOUR SKILLET. Next, using a paper
towel, “season” the nonstick cooking surface by rubbing lightly with cooking oil.
1. Place the skillet on a dry level surface. Also, place a heat resistant counter protector,
such as aluminum foil, under appliance to prevent possible heat damage to your
counter top.
2. Insert the Temperature Control Probe into the skillet making sure the two electrical
pins on the skillet are fully inserted into the heat control unit.
3. Connect the power cord to a polarized outlet only.
4. Turn the temperature control probe to the desired temperature (see pages 5 to 7 for
cooking temperatures), and then remove the cover to preheat the skillet.
The pilot light goes off when the skillet reaches the selected temperature;
this takes approximately 10 to 15 minutes.
5. Prepare the food for cooking. The skillet has a nonstick finish, and therefore,
food may be prepared with little or no oil.
6. Place food in skillet and cook according to the temperature-timetable
(pages 5 to 7). The heat can be adjusted at any time according to personal
preference, or dependant on the type of food being cooked. The pilot light goes
on and off during cooking, indicating the skillet is keeping the desired temperature.
This condition is normal and the skillet is not malfunctioning.
7. Turn the temperature control probe to OFF when cooking is completed. Then unplug
the temperature control probe from the wall outlet and from the appliance.
MAiNTAiNiNg YOur ELECTriC SKiLLET
1. Unplug the skillet and detach the temperature control probe. Wash the electric
skillet base in warm soapy water, and rinse it dry after each use. All parts except the
temperature control probe are fully immersible and dishwasher safe.
2. For best results, use nylon, plastic, wooden, or rubber utensils. Do not use metal
utensils as they may scratch the nonstick surface. Also, do not cut food on
the cooking surface.
3. Clean the nonstick surface with a non-metal cleaning pad after each use.
Firm pressure can be applied if necessary.
4. Do not use steel wool or abrasive kitchen cleaners to clean the electric skillet.

5. Soaking the skillet to loosen food reside for more than 2 hours may damage
the non-stick finish.
6. The nonstick finish on the heating element may darken over the course of time.
To remove this discoloration, use a commercial de-stainer. Also, make sure to clean
any cleaning solution that comes in contact with the exterior of the appliance.
7. It is recommended that the cooking surface be wiped lightly with cooking oil before
using the skillet again after it has come in contact with a commercial cleaner.
Wipe away spills and drips on the exterior of the skillet immediately in order to keep
the skillet looking attractive and presentable. Use a cleaning pad dipped in warm
soapy water to remove food that has burnt to the exterior of the skillet. Then rinse
and wipe all dry all surfaces
IMPORTANT: The temperature control probe can get damaged easily. Avoid rough
handling in use and storage.

LIMITED ONE-YEAR WARRANTY
SENSIO Inc. hereby warrants that for a period of ONE YEAR from the date of purchase, this product will be
free from mechanical defects in material and workmanship, and for 90 days in respect to non-mechanical
parts. At its sole discretion, SENSIO Inc. will either repair or replace the product found to be defective, or issue
a refund on the product during the warranty period. Any refund to the customer will be at a pro-rated value
based on the remaining period of the warranty.
The warranty is only valid for the original retail purchaser from the date of initial retail purchase and is not
transferable. Keep the original sales receipt, as proof of purchase is required to obtain warranty validation.
Retail stores selling this product do not have the right to alter, modify, or in any way revise the terms and
conditions of the warranty.
EXCLUSIONS: The warranty does not cover normal wear of parts or damage resulting from any of the
following: negligent use of the product, use of improper voltage or current, improper routine maintenance, use
contrary to the operating instructions, disassembly, repair, or alteration by anyone other than qualied SENSIO
Inc. personnel. Also, the warranty does not cover Acts of God such as re, oods, hurricanes, or tornadoes.
SENSIO Inc. shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages caused by the breach of any
express or implied warranty. Apart from the extent prohibited by applicable law, any implied warranty
of merchantability or tness for a particular purpose is limited in time to the duration of the warranty.
Some states, provinces or jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential
damages, or limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, and therefore, the above exclusions or
limitations may not apply to you. The warranty covers specic legal rights which may vary by state, province
and/or jurisdiction.
HOW TO OBTAIN WARRANTY SERVICE: You must contact Customer Service at our toll-free number:
1-866-832-4843. A Customer Service Representative will attempt to resolve warranty issues over the phone.
If the Customer Service Representative is unable to resolve the problem, you will be provided with a case
number and asked to return the product to SENSIO Inc. Attach a tag to the product that includes: your name,
address, daytime contact telephone number, case number, and description of the problem. Also, include a
copy of the original sales receipt. Carefully package the tagged product with the sales receipt, and send it
(with shipping and insurance prepaid) to SENSIO Inc.’s address. SENSIO Inc. shall bear no responsibility or
liability for the returned product while in transit to SENSIO Inc.’s Customer Service Center.

NOTAS SOBrE EL ENChuFE
Este aparato tiene un enchufe polarizado (una clavija es más ancha que
la otra). Para reducir el riesgo de descarga eléctrica, este enchufe se debe colocar
en un tomacorriente polarizado en una sola dirección. Si el enchufe no entra
completamente en el tomacorriente, dé vuelta el enchufe. Si aun así no encaja,
llame a un electricista calificado. No modifique el enchufe de ninguna manera.
NOTAS SOBrE EL CABLE
Se debe usar el cable de alimentación corto (o cable de alimentación separable)
para reducir el riesgo de enredarse o tropezarse con un cable más largo.
AdvErTENCiA SOBrE LOS PLASTiFiCANTES
PRECAUCIÓN: A fin de evitar que los plastificantes se adhieran al acabado
de la mesada o mesa o de otro mueble, coloque un posafuentes o salvamanteles
que NO SEAN DE PLÁSTICO entre el aparato y la superficie de la mesada o mesa.
Si no se hace esto, es posible que el acabado se oscurezca; se pueden formar
marcas permanentes o aparecer manchas.
COrriENTE ELéCTriCA
Si se recarga el circuito eléctrico con otros aparatos, es posible que este aparato
no funcione correctamente. Se debe utilizar en un circuito eléctrico separado
de los otros aparatos.

uSO dE LA SArTéN ELéCTriCA
Para limpiar la sartén siga las instrucciones indicadas en MANTENIMIENTO DE
LA SARTÉN ELÉCTRICA. Luego, con una toalla de papel, “cure” la superficie de cocción
antiadherente frotándola ligeramente con aceite de cocción.
1. Coloque la sartén sobre una superficie seca y nivelada. También, coloque
un protector de mesa resistente al calor, como un papel de aluminio debajo
del aparato para prevenir posibles daños por calor a la encimera.
2. Inserte el Control principal de temperatura en la sartén asegurándose que
las dos clavijas eléctricas en sartén estén completamente insertadas en el control
de temperatura de la unidad.
3. Conecte el cordón de corriente a una toma polarizada únicamente.
4. Gire el Control principal de temperatura a la temperatura deseada (Vea las páginas
5 a 7 para temperaturas de cocción), y luego quite la tapa para precalentar la sartén.
El piloto se apaga cuando la sartén alcanza la temperatura seleccionada; esto toma
aproximadamente 10 a 15 minutos.
5. Prepare el alimento para cocción. La sartén tiene un acabado antiadherente,
por lo tanto, se puede preparar alimentos con poco o nada de aceite.
6. Coloque el alimento en la sartén y cueza de acuerdo con la tabla de temperatura
(páginas 5 a 7). La temperatura se puede ajustar en cualquier momento, de acuerdo
con sus preferencias personales, o dependiendo de alimento que se está cociendo.
El piloto se enciende y se apaga durante la cocción, indicando que la sartén está
manteniendo la temperatura deseada. Esta condición es normal y la sartén no está
funcionando mal.
7. Gire el Control principal de temperatura a OFF al terminar la cocción.
Luego desenchufe el Control principal de temperatura de la toma de corriente
de la pared y del aparato.

MANTENiMiENTO dE LA SArTéN ELéCTriCA
1. Desenchufe la sartén y desconecte el control principal de temperatura.
Lave la sartén eléctrica en agua tibia jabonosa, enjuague y séquela después
de cada uso. A excepción del control principal de temperatura, todas las piezas
pueden ser sumergidas y lavadas en el lavaplatos automático.
2. Para mejores resultados, use utensilios de nylon, plástico o madera.
No use utensilios metálicos puesto que éstos dañarán la superficie anti-adherente.
Tampoco corte alimentos sobre la superficie de cocción.
3. Limpie la superficie anti-adherente con una esponjilla no metálica después de cada
uso. Se puede aplicar una presión firme si se necesita.
4. No use esponjillas metálicas ni limpiadores abrasivos de cocina para limpiar
la sartén eléctrica.
5. No es necesario poner en remojo la sartén para aflojar los residuos de alimentos.
Sin embargo, si desea llevar a cabo este procedimiento, no deje en remojo la sartén
por más de dos horas. Si se deja la sartén en remojo por más de dos horas
se puede dañar el acabado anti-adherente.
6. El acabado antiadherente en el elemento calefactor se puede oscurecer con
el tiempo. Para quitar esta decoloración, Para quitar la decoloración, use
un limpiador comercial hecho para limpiar superficies como un desmanchador.
Asegúrese también de quitar cualquier solución de limpieza que entre en contacto
con la parte exterior del aparato.
7. Recomienda limpiar ligeramente la superficie de cocción con aceite de cocina antes
de usar la sartén nuevamente después de que haya entrado en contacto con
un limpiador comercial. También, limpie cualquier derrame o goteo en el exterior
de la sartén inmediatamente con el fin de mantenerla atractiva y presentable.
Use una esponjilla de limpieza untada en agua tibia jabonosa para quitar los
alimentos que ha han quemado sobre la parte externa de la sartén. Luego enjuague
y seque todas las superficies
IMPORTANTE: El Control principal de temperatura se puede dañar fácilmente.
Evite manipularlo bruscamente durante el uso y el almacenamiento.

Las tiendas de ventas al detal que venden este producto no tienen el derecho de alterar, modicar o cambiar
de ninguna manera los términos y condiciones de esta garantía.
EXCLUSIONES: Esta garantía no cubre el desgaste normal de piezas ni daños resultantes de cualquiera de los
siguientes aspectos: uso negligente de este producto, uso de voltaje o corriente inadecuada, mantenimiento
de rutina inadecuada, uso contrario a las instrucciones de operación, desmontaje; reparación o alteración
por personas distintas del personal calicado de SENSIO Inc. La garantía tampoco cubre Actos de Dios,
como incendios, inundaciones, huracanes o tornados.
SENSIO Inc. no será responsable de ningún daño inherente ni resultante causado por el incumplimiento
de ninguna garantía expresa o implícita. Excepto hasta el alcance prohibido por la ley vigente, cualquier
garantía implícita de mercabilidad o conveniencia para un n particular está limitada en tiempo a la duración
de la garantía. Algunos estados, provincias o jurisdicciones no permiten la exclusión o limitación de daños
inherentes o resultantes o limitaciones sobre cuánto tiempo dura una garantía implícita, y en consecuencia,
puede que las limitaciones o las exclusiones estipuladas arriba no se apliquen a su caso. La garantía cubre
derechos legales especícos que pueden variar según el estado, la provincia y/o jurisdicción.
CÓMO OBTENER SERVICIO BAJO GARANTÍA: Ud. Debe ponerse en contacto con el Servicio al cliente
en el número: 1-866-832-4843. Un representante de Servicio al cliente tratará de resolver los problemas
de garantía por teléfono.Si el Representante de servicio al cliente no logra resolver el problema, se le dará
un número de caso y se le solicitará devolver el producto a SENSIO Inc. Coloque una etiqueta en el producto
que incluye: su nombre, dirección, número de teléfono para contacto de día, número de caso y descripción
del problema. También, incluya una copia de recibo de venta original. Empaque cuidadosamente el producto
etiquetado con el recibo de venta y envíelo (con envío y seguro prepagados) a la dirección de SENSIO Inc.
SENSIO Inc.no asumirá ninguna responsabilidad respecto al producto devuelto durante el tránsito al Centro
de servicio al cliente de SENSIO Inc.
