In particular climate and operating situations (low outdoor temperature, high
relative humidity, operation with minimum modulation), you may notice the partial

WHITE SMOKE at the end of the discharge pipe) is entirely natural and does not alter
the ecological balance in the environment.
Appliance operation is not affected - on the contrary, this is clear proof of the high
degree of efficiency and energy savings obtained.

1 WARNINGS AND SAFETY
b The boilers manufactured in our factories are checked even in the smallest details
in order to protect users and installers against possible injury. After working on
the product, qualified personnel must check the electrical wiring, in particular the
stripped part of leads, which must not protrude from the terminal board and avoiding
possible contact with live parts of the leads themselves.
b This installer and user manual constitutes an integral part of the product: make sure
they are always kept with the appliance, even if it is transferred to another owner or
user, or moved to another heating system. In the event of loss or damage, please
contact your local Technical Assistance Centre for a new copy.
b The boiler must only be installed and serviced by qualified personnel, in accordance
with current regulations.
b The installer must instruct the user about the operation of the appliance and about
essential safety regulations.
b This boiler must only be used for the application it was designed for. The manufacturer
accepts no liability within or without the contract for any damage caused to people,
animals and property due to installation, adjustment and maintenance errors or to
improper use.
b This appliance should not be operated by children younger than 8 years, people
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capacities, or inexperienced people
who are not familiar with the product, unless they are given close supervision or
instructions on how to use it safely and are made aware by a responsible person
of the dangers its use might entail. Children must not play with the appliance. It is
the user's responsibility to clean and maintain the appliance. Children should never
clean or maintain it unless they are given supervision.
b After removing the packaging, make sure the content is in good condition and
complete. Otherwise, contact the dealer from whom you purchased the appliance.
b The safety valve outlet must be connected to a suitable collection and venting
system. The manufacturer declines all liability for any damage caused due to any
intervention carried out in the safety valve.
b The seal of the condensate drainage connection line must be secure, and the line
must be fully protected against the risk of freezing (e.g. by insulating it).
b Check that the rainwater drainage channel of the flue gas exhaust coupling and the
relative connecting pipe are free of obstructions.
b Dispose of all the packaging materials in the suitable containers at the corresponding
collection centres.
b Dispose of waste by being careful not to harm human health and without employing
procedures or methods which may damage the environment.
b During installation, inform the user that:
- in the event of water leaks, the water supply must be shut off and the Technical
Assistance Centre contacted immediately
- periodically check that the operating pressure of the hydraulic system is com-
prised between 1 and 1.5 bar. If necessary, restore the pressure as indicated in
paragraph "3.13 Filling and emptying the system".
b If the boiler is not used for a long period of time, it is recommended to perform the
following operations:
- turn the main switch of the appliance to "OFF"
- set the boiler status to OFF ( )
- close the fuel and water taps of the heating and domestic hot water system
- empty the heating and domestic hot water circuits if there is the risk of freezing
b Boiler maintenance must be carried out at least once a year; this should be booked
in advance with the Technical Assistance Centre to ensure the necessary safety
standards.
b
The appliance is used to produce domestic hot water, therefore it must be connected to
the heating and/or hot water system, taking into account its power and efficiency.
At the end of its life, the product should be not be disposed of as solid urban waste,
but rather it should be handed over to a differentiated waste collection centre.
For safety reasons, please remember that:
a It is forbidden to activate electric devices or appliances such as switches, household
appliances and so on if you notice a smell of fuel or unburnt fuel. In this case:
- ventilate the room by opening the doors and windows:
- close the fuel shut-off device;
- ask the Technical Assistance Service or professionally qualified personnel to
intervene promptly.
a It is forbidden to touch the appliance while barefoot or if parts of your body are wet.
a Any technical or cleaning operation is forbidden before disconnecting the appliance
from the main power supply by turning the system's main switch to "OFF" by setting
the boiler to "OFF" ( ).
a Do not modify the safety or adjustment devices without the manufacturer’s
authorisation and precise instructions.
a It is prohibited to pull, detach or twist the electrical cables coming from the appliance
even if it is disconnected from the mains power supply.

The air vents are essential for correct combustion.
a Do not leave flammable containers and substances in the room where the device
is installed.
a It is forbidden to disperse the packaging material in the environment and leave it
within children's reach as it may be a potential source of danger. It must be disposed
in accordance with the present law.
a It is forbidden to obstruct the condensate drain outlet. The condensate drain pipe
should be facing the discharge pipe, preventing the formation of further drain pipes.
a Never carry out any work on the gas valve.
a It is forbidden to expose the appliance to the elements because it is not designed
to function outdoors.
a This device can not be used by persons (including children) with reduced physical,
sensory, mental capacity or lack of experience and knowledge of the subject, unless
they are supervised or instructed by the person responsible for its safe operation.
a Only for the user: Do not access the inside of the boiler. Any work on the boiler
should be carried out by the Technical Assistance Centre or by professionally
qualified personnel.
INSTALLATION MANUAL
2 DESCRIPTION
CIAO AT is a wall-mounted condensing boiler for heating high temperature systems
(radiators) and the production of domestic hot water.
Depending on the fume discharge accessory used, it is classified in categories B22P, B52P,
C12, C12x; C32, C32x; C42, C42x; C52, C52x; C82, C82x; C92, C92x.
In configuration B22P, B52P, the appliance cannot be installed in bedrooms, bathrooms,
showers or where there are open fireplaces without a proper air flow. The room where the
boiler is installed must have proper ventilation. Detailed requirements for the installation of
the flue, the gas piping and for ventilating the room, can be found in UNI 7129-7131.
In configuration C, the appliance can be installed in any type of room and there are no
limitations due to ventilation conditions or room volume.
3 INSTALLATION
3.1 Cleaning the system and characteristics of the water
In the case of a new installation or replacement of the boiler, it is necessary to clean the
heating system. To ensure the device works well, top up the additives and/or chemical
treatments (e.g. anti-freeze liquids, filming agents, etc.) and check the parameters in the
table are within the values indicated.

3.2 Handling
After unpacking, handling of the boiler is done manually using the support frame.
3.3 Installation room
The boiler can be installed in various types of room, as long as the discharge of the
combustion product and the combustion air suction are outside the room itself.
b Consider the clearances necessary to access safety and adjustment devices and to
perform maintenance operations.
b Check that the electric protection level of the appliance is adapted to the installation
room characteristics.
b If the boilers are supplied with fuel gas of a specific weight greater than that of the air,
the electric parts will have to be positioned more than 500mm above ground level.
3.4 Installation on appliances that are old or that need to be updated
When the boiler is installed in old systems or systems being updated, check that:
-the flue is suitable for the temperature of the combustion products with condensation,
calculated and built according to Standard, is as straight as possible, airtight, insulated
and has no blockages or narrow sections. It is equipped with appropriate condensate
collection and discharge systems
-the electrical system is installed in compliance with the specific standards and by
qualified personnel
-the fuel supply line and eventual tank (LPG) are made according to specific Standards
-the expansion tank ensures the total absorption of the dilatation of the fluid contained
in the system
-the flow rate and head of the circulator are suitable to the characteristics of the system
-the system is washed, cleansed of any mud, build-up, vented and sealed. It is
recommended that a magnetic filter be installed on the system's return line
-the boiler condensate drain system (siphon) is connected and routed to the collection of
"white" water.

The manufacturer is not liable for any damage resulting from the incorrect construction
of the flue gas discharge system.
b
The flue gas discharge pipes for condensing boilers are made of special materials that
are different compared to those made for standard boilers.
3.5 Installation regulations
The installation must be carried out by qualified personnel, in compliance with the following
reference standards: UNI 7129-7131 and CEI 64-8.
b During boiler installation the use of protective clothing is recommended, in order to
avoid personal injury.
Always comply with local standards of the Fire Department, the Gas Company and with
possible municipal dispositions.
POSITION
CIAO AT is a wall-hung boiler for heating and for the production of hot water, that comes in
two categories, depending on the type of installation:
- B22P-B52P boiler type - forced open installation, with flue gas discharge pipe and pick-
up of combustion air from the installation area. If the boiler is not installed outdoors, air
intake in the installation area is compulsory.
- C12,C12x; C32,C32x; C42,C42x; C52,C52x; C82,C82x, C92,C92x boiler type: appliance
with airtight chamber, with flue gas discharge pipe and pick-up of combustion air from
outside. It does not require an air intake point in the installation area. This type MUST
be installed using concentric pipes, or other types of discharge designed for condensing
boilers with an airtight chamber.
The boiler can be installed indoor in multiple locations providing the combustion products
are discharged outside the room and the combustion air is drawn in from outside the room.
In this case, the room does not require any ventilation openings because the boiler has a
combustion circuit which is "sealed" with respect to the installation environment.
But if combustion air is taken from the installation room, the room must be fitted with ventilation
openings complying with the technical standards and suitably dimensioned.
Consider the clearances necessary to access the safety and adjustment devices and to
perform maintenance operations.
Check that the electric protection level of the appliance is suitable for the installation room
characteristics.
If the boilers are supplied with fuel gas of a specific weight greater than that of the air, the
electric parts will have to be positioned more than 500mm above ground level.
The boiler is fitted as standard with an automatic anti-freeze system that activates when the
temperature of the water in the primary circuit falls below 5°C.
This system is always active and provides protection for the boiler down to an air temperature
in the installation area of >0°C.
To take advantage of this protection (based on burner operation), the boiler must be able to
switch itself on; any lockout condition (for ex. due to a lack of gas or electrical supply, or the
intervention of a safety device) therefore deactivates the protection.
MINIMUM DISTANCES (Fig. 8)
For correct appliance positioning, bear in mind that:
-it must not be placed above a cooker or other cooking device
-it is forbidden to leave inflammable products in the room where the boiler is installed
-heat-sensitive walls (e.g. wooden walls) must be protected with proper insulation.
3.6 Instruction for condensation exhaust connection
This product is designed to prevent the escape of gaseous products of combustion through
the condensation drain pipe with which it is equipped, this is obtained by using a special
siphon placed inside the appliance.

All components of the product condensation drain system must be properly maintained
in accordance with the manufacturer instructions and cannot be modified in any way .
The condensation exhaust system downstream of the appliance (1) must comply with the
relevant legislation and standards. The construction of the condensation exhaust system
downstream of the appliance is the responsibility of the installer. The condensation
exhaust system must be dimensioned and installed in such a way as to guarantee the
correct evacuation of the condensation produced by the appliance and/or collected by
the evacuation systems of combustion products. All the components of the condensation
exhaust system must be made in a workmanlike manner using materials that are suitable for
withstanding the mechanical, thermal and chemical stresses of the condensation produced
by the appliance over time. Note: If the condensation exhaust system is exposed to the risk
of frost, always provide an adequate level of insulation of the pipe and consider any increase
in the diameter of the pipe itself. The condensation exhaust pipe must always have an
adequate slope level to prevent the condensation from stagnating and its proper drainage.
The condensation exhaust system must have an inspectable disconnection (2) between the
condensation exhaust pipe of the appliance and the condensation exhaust system.
The disconnection must be such as to ensure an atmospheric connection between the
inside of the condensation exhaust system pipe and the environment in order to avoid that
the downstream exhaust pipe of the product can take on positive or negative pressure with
respect to the environment itself. Fig. A: example of a connection between the condensation

3.7 Fixing the condensate drain pipe
The boilers leave the factory with the condensate drain (A) and safety valve drain (B) pipes
already installed.

Connect the end of the condensate drain pipe supplied to another specifically inspected
connection device prepared (as indicated in UNI EN 677) avoiding creating creases where the
condensate can stagnate and possibly freeze.
The manufacturer is not responsible for any damage caused by the lack of conveying the
condensate or by freezing it.
The drain connection line must be leakproof and adequately protected from the risk of frost.
Before putting the appliance into service, make sure that the condensate can be properly
evacuated.
3.8 Positioning the wall-mounted boiler and hydraulic
connections (fig. 9)
The boiler comes as standard with a boiler support plate. The position and dimension of
hydraulic fittings are shown in the detail drawing. For the assembly, proceed as follows:
-position the cardboard template on the wall. Using a spirit level, check the correct hori-
zontal plane and the flatness of the boiler support surface; make it thicker if needed
-mark the fixing points
-remove the cardboard template and drill the required holes
-fasten the upper boiler support crosspiece to the wall, using suitable anchor plugs
-verify correct horizontality with a spirit level
-carry out the hydraulic connections.
-hang the boiler.

Connect the fittings and gaskets available from the catalogue as optional accessories.
We recommend connecting the boiler to the systems introducing both the DHW shut-off
valve as well as the shut-off valves for the heating system; for this purpose a heating system
valves kit and heating valves kit with filter is available.
Connect the brass taps and valves to the connections and the boiler.

3.9 Electrical connections
The boiler leaves the factory completely wired with the power supply cable already electri-
cally connected; only the room thermostat (TA) needs to be connected to the dedicated
terminals. To access the terminal board:
-set the main system switch to OFF
-undo the casing mounting screws (A- fig. 10)
-move the casing forward to release it from the frame
-undo the control panel mounting screws (B- fig. 10)
-rotate the control panel towards you
-make the electrical connections using the M4 terminal located the electrical box cover
and referring to the diagram below.

b Room thermostat low voltage safety input. The connection to the mains supply must
be made via a separation device with an omnipolar opening of at least 3.5 mm (EN
60335-1, category III). The appliance works with alternating current at 230 Volt/50
Hz, and complies with Standard EN 60335-1.
b It is compulsory to carry out connection with an efficient earth circuit, according to
national and local legislation.
b It is advisable to comply with neutral phase connection (L-N).
b The earth wire must be a couple of centimetres longer than the others.
a It is forbidden to use gas and/or water pipes to earth electrical appliances.
b The manufacturer declines liability for any damage if the appliance was not
connected to an earth circuit.
b If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or by the
Technical Assistance Service or by a person with similar qualifications, in order to
avoid any risk.
If the power cable is replaced, use a cable of the HAR H05V2V2-F type, 3 x 0.75mm2, with
max. outside diameter 7mm.
3.10 Gas connection
Before connecting the appliance to the gas network, check that:
-national and local installation regulations have been respected
-the gas type is appropriate for the appliance
-the piping is clean.
The gas pipe must be installed outdoors.
If the pipe has to pass through the wall, it must pass through the central opening in the lower
part of the template.
b It is advisable to install a filter of suitable dimensions on the gas line if the distribution
network contains solid particles.
b Once the appliance has been installed, check the connections are sealed according
to current installation regulations.
3.11 Releasing the circulator
-Press the MODE button to select the OFF state and switch off the boiler.
-Remove the circulator cap.
-With a flat-bladed screwdriver, rotate the shaft, taking care not to damage the slot (fig. 1).
-To remove the connector holder, lever with a screwdriver as shown in fig. 2.
-Replace the cap and press MODE to select the type of operation desired.
b Carry out the operation with extreme caution to avoid damaging the individual com-
ponents.

3.12 Flue gas exhaust and combustion air intake (fig. 11-12)
For the removal of combustion products, refer to the UNI 7129 and 7131 standards. Always
comply with local standards of the Fire Department, the Gas Company and with possible
municipal dispositions. Combustion products are removed by a centrifugal fan placed inside
the combustion chamber.
The boiler is supplied without the flue gas outlet/air suction kit, since it is possible to use the
accessories for appliance with a forced draught sealed chamber that better adapts to the
installation characteristics. For flue gas extraction and the restoration of boiler combustion
air, it is essential to use only certified pipes and ensure that the connection is made correctly
as indicated in the instructions supplied with the flue gas accessories.
A single flue can be connected to several appliances provided that every appliance is the
condensing type. The boiler is a C-type appliance (with airtight chamber), and must therefore
have a safe connection to the flue gas discharge pipe and to the combustion air suction pipe;
these both carry their contents outside, and are essential for the operation of the appliance.

b The straight length includes the first bend (connection to the boiler), endpieces and
joints. An exception is made for the vertical Ø 60-100 mm concentric pipe, whose
straight length excludes bends.
b The maximum lengths of the pipes refer to the flue accessories available in the
catalogue.
b The boiler automatically adjusts the ventilation according to the type of installation
and the length of the pipe.
b The use of specific piping is mandatory.
b Make sure the flue gas discharge pipe is tilted 3° towards the boiler.
b Do not obstruct or choke the combustion air suction pipe in any way.
b Non-insulated flue gas pipes are potential sources of danger.
b The concentric pipes can be fitted in most suitable direction in relation to installation
requirements. For installation, follow the instructions supplied with the kits.

3.13 Filling and emptying the system
Once the hydraulic connections have been carried out, you can fill the heating system.
FILLING the heating system
This procedure must be carried out when the system is cold and the boiler is OFF, and
consists of the following operations:
-open the automatic air vent valve cap (A) by two or three turns
-make sure the cold water inlet tap is open

-open the filling tap ( B ) until the pressure indicated by the water pressure gauge is be-
tween 1 and 1.5 bar. Once filling is complete, close the filling tap.
bThe safety valve outlet (C) must be connected to a suitable collection system. The
manufacturer is not responsible for possible damage due to safety valve operation.
NOTE: The boiler has an efficient air separator so no manual air venting intervention is
needed.
NOTE: The burner switches on only if the air relief phase is finished.
EMPTYING the heating system
To empty the system, proceed as follows:
-switch off the boiler
-connect the hose supplied as standard to the boiler drain valve ( C )
-loosen the boiler drain valve ( C )
-open the air vent valve to allow continuous air venting
-drain the lowest points of the system.

4 COMMISSIONING
4.1 Preliminary checks
First ignition is carried out by competent personnel from an authorised Technical Assistance
Service. Before starting up the boiler, check:
-that the data of the supply networks (electricity, water, gas) correspond to the label data
-that the extraction pipes of the flue gases and the air suction pipes are working correctly
-that conditions for regular maintenance are guaranteed if the boiler is placed inside or
between items of furniture
-the seal of the fuel adduction system
-that the fuel flow rate corresponds to values required by the boiler
-that the fuel supply system is sized to provide the correct flow rate to the boiler, and that
it has all the safety and control devices required by current regulations
-that the circulator rotates freely because, especially after long periods of inactivity, depos-
its and/or debris can prevent free rotation. See paragraph "3.11 Releasing the circulator".
4.2 First commissioning
On first ignition after prolonged inactivity and after maintenance, before putting the appliance
into operation it is essential to create a water head and ensure that the condensate is being
evacuated correctly.
Fill the condensate collection siphon by pouring about 1 litre of water into the boiler
combustion analysis take-off and check:
-floating of the safety shutter
-the correct flow of water from the boiler outlet discharge pipe
-the leaktightness of the condensate drain connection line.
Correct operation of the condensate drain circuit (siphon and pipes) requires that the
condensate level does not exceed the maximum level (max).
Prior filling of the siphon and the presence of the safety shutter inside the siphon is designed
to prevent the escape of combustion gases into the environment.
Repeat this operation during routine and extraordinary maintenance operations.

4.3 Operating modes

Winter: press MODE until you see . The boiler is ready to supply both DHW and
CH. The digital display indicates the CH water temperature.
Summer: press MODE until you see . The boiler supplies only domestic hot water. The
digital display normally indicates the outlet temperature, and in the event of DHW demand
the temperature of the DHW.
OFF: to switch off the boiler press the MODE button until you see OF on the display. For
further details see "4.6 Temporary switch-off".
-Adjusting the CH water temperature
To adjust the CH water temperature, press the CH+ button to increase the value, CH- to
decrease it, within the CH setpoint limits indicated in the parameters table or the technical
data.

During a CH demand the symbol flashes on the display until the demand is met.
-Adjusting the domestic hot water temperature
To adjust the DHW temperature, press the DHW+ button to increase the value, DHW- to
decrease it, within the DHW setpoint limits indicated in the parameters table.

During a DHW demand the symbol flashes on the display, alternating with the letters
SA, until the demand is met.
-Adjusting the CH water temperature with an outdoor temperature sensor (optional
accessory)
When an outdoor sensor is installed, the CH system temperature is adjusted according
to the outdoor climatic conditions, giving a high level of comfort and energy savings
throughout the year.
4.4 Ignition
To start up the boiler, proceed as follows:
-power the boiler
-open the gas tap to allow fuel flow
-adjust the room thermostat to the required temperature (~20°C).
After ignition, the boiler is in standby mode until the burner ignites following a demand for
heat. Burner ignition is indicated by the symbol on the display.

The level bar indicates whether the boiler is operating with a modulation range of 0 to 50%
= or 51% to 100% = .
The boiler continues to function until the temperatures set on the boiler are reached, or the
heat request terminates; it will then go back to standby.
In the event of shutdown due to a fault, the digital display will show the relevant error code
and, in the case of a non-volatile error, the flame lockout symbol .
4.5 Warning lights and faults
The lockout condition stops the boiler from operating and is indicated on the display by a
flashing letter "A", followed by an error code and the appearance of the symbol.
In this condition, to restore normal operation the reset procedure must be carried out as
follows:
-press the RESET button

-wait for the ignition delay after the lockout:
t5, remaining time before restart more than 30 sec

t4, remaining time before restart less than 30 sec.
When the error is cleared, the relevant code disappears from the display and normal
operating mode is automatically restored. If the anomaly persists, you must contact the
Technical Assistance Service.

If, after RESET procedure, alarm A02 does not reset, it would be possible that the post-exchan-
ger thermal fuse, in series with the limit thermostat, has intervened. Ask for the intervention of
the Technical Assistance Center to resolve the fault.
The boiler could also detect the following "self-resetting" error situations which do not result
in a lockout condition. The boiler tries to reset automatically.
In this condition, the display shows the flashing letter "A", followed by an error code, but
there is no symbol.
When the error is cleared, the relevant code disappears from the display and normal
operating mode is automatically restored.

together with the error code, the symbol flashes on the display to indicate the need
to refill the system. Check the pressure value indicated by the water gauge: if it is less
than 0.5 bar press MODE to select the OFF mode and operate the filling tap (B) until the
pressure reaches a value between 1 and 1.5 bar.
When the automatic air vent cycle is finished or when it is interrupted by pushing RESET
button, press MODE to select the desired function.
If pressure drops are frequent, request the intervention of the Technical Assistance
Service.

After the system pressure (1 and 1.5 bar) compliance verifi ed, the continuous presence of A04
fault code can be due to the intervention of the condensate limit pressure switch (siphon or
condensate drain blocked). In this case, it is necessary to ask for the intervention of the
Technical Assistance to resolve the fault.
Fault A06
If alarm A06 persists in any operating mode, it means the DHW probe is faulty.
The boiler will carry on working normally, modulating to suit the flow sensor.
Burner OFF = Delivery temperature > DHW setpoint + 15 °C
Burner ON = Delivery temperature < DHW setpoint + 10 °C
To replace the DHW probe, contact the after sales service .
4.6 Temporary switch-off
In the event of temporary absences (weekends, short trips, etc.) press the MODE button,
the display will show OF.
While the electrical supply and the fuel supply remain active, the boiler is protected by the
systems:
-CH anti-freeze : this function is activated if the temperature measured by the outlet flow
sensor drops below 5 °C. In this phase, the circulator is activated. If the boiler is not in
lockout, the burner is also activated at minimum output until the delivery water tempera-
ture reaches 30°C.
During the antifreeze cycle the display shows F08.
-DHW anti-freeze: the function is activated if the temperature measured by the domestic
water sensor drops below 4° C. In this phase, the circulator is activated. If the boiler is
not in lockout, the burner is also activated at minimum output until the delivery water
temperature reaches 40°C.
During the antifreeze cycle the display shows F09.
4.7 Switching off for long periods
If the boiler is not going to be used for a long period, perform the following operations:
-press the MODE button and select OF
-set the system's main switch to "off"
-turn off the fuel and water taps of the heating and domestic hot water system.

bIn this case, the anti-freeze and anti-blocking systems are deactivated.
bDrain the heating and domestic water system if there is any risk of freezing.
4.8 Setting the thermoregulation
Thermoregulation only works with the outdoor sensor connected (an optional accessory)
therefore once installed, connect it to the special connections provided on the boiler
terminal board (see wiring diagram); at this point set the parameter P13 different from 0
after evaluating the value to be set, explanation follows.
This enables the THERMOREGULATION function.
In this type of operation, the CH setpoint is calculated according to the outdoor temperature
(t ext) and the Kd factor, which depends on the value set in parameter P13 - see graph.
Choice of the compensation curve
-Choose the thermoregulation curve that best matches your installation needs - see graph
1 - taking into account the outdoor temperature and the CH delivery temperature.
-Using the curve of graph 1, find the Kd value.
-Having obtained the Kd value, use graph 2 to determine the correspondence with the
P13 value.
Enter the value obtained in parameter P13, referring to paragraph "4.11 Parameter access
procedure (tS)". The CH compensation curve maintains a theoretical room temperature of
20 °C for outdoor temperatures between +20 °C and –20 °C.
Above and below this range the CH setpoint is limited to the maximum and minimum by the
value set in the parameter table.
If the room temperature is lower than the desired value, it is advisable to create a higher
order curve and vice versa.
4.9 Additional functions
PRE-HEATING (FASTER HOT WATER):
This function keeps the water in the domestic hot water exchanger hot, to reduce standby
times when a request is made.
-By pressing the RESET and CH+ keys for more than 3 seconds it is possible to enable
or disable the preheating function. At the beginning of the function the display shows FH
and the pump starts immediately.

The preheating function is not available in the following cases:
-following a lockout caused by an anomaly, for a period of 10 seconds
-if a heat demand is in progress
-during post circulation of the pump.

By activating the function, the absolute thermostats are enabled at the same time.
Air vent
The circulator is cyclically switched on at maximum speed for 10 seconds and switched off
for 10 seconds to remove air contained in the circuit. During this function, the display shows
F33 and heat demand is disabled for 120 seconds.
This function can be activated under the following conditions:
-after manual reset following anomaly A02
-when the CH water pressure is restored to normal level after anomaly A04
-after anomaly A18 (circulation control) has been reset.
This function can be deactivated by pressing the RESET button for 5 seconds.
4.10 Installer/configuration mode
By pressing the RESET button for 10 seconds, it is possible to access the Installer/
Configuration mode.
bThe operation is not allowed with the boiler in the OF state.
