Getting to Know Your Remotes
Motor Program Button
The program button on the shade’s motor end lets you move
your shade without a remote. It’s also used to perform various
programming functions, discussed later in this manual.

Charging the Battery
Only use the charger supplied with the shades.
Solar/Roller: Motor will beep 10 times when in use to indicate
that the battery needs to be charged. LED light in motor head
will blink green when charging and turn solid green when
charging is complete.
Cellular/Pleated: LED light in battery pack will be solid red
when charging and turn solid green when charging is complete.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION BEFORE YOU BEGIN
You must charge the batteries for your product ordered.
You should only use the charger ordered with the shades.
Charge time can vary and could take up to 4 hours for a
complete charge.

Knowing Your Shade’s Limits and
Favorite Position
To help you get started quickly and easily, we set your
shade up with predened positions.
You can adjust each of these positions to t the needs of
your home—just follow the instructions in the Adjusting Your
Shade’s Limits and Favorite Position section on page 13.
Upper Limit: The highest
position your shade can reach.
We pick a position that gives you
the best view and also protects
your shade from damage.
Lower Limit: The lowest
position your shade can
reach. This matches the shade
length you ordered.
Favorite Position: We set this
to the midpoint of your shade,
but you can adjust it to any
point between the upper
and lower limits.

If you bought your shades and multi-channel remote at
the same time, your shades arrive already paired with your
multi-channel remote. Channel “0” is preset to control all
shades paired to your multi-channel remote.

Use the instructions in this section to adjust your shade’s upper
and lower limits or favorite position.

Adjusting the Upper Limit
Before You Start
If your remote currently controls a group of shades, you’ll first need
to put the shades you do not wish to program into Sleep Mode. To
do that, perform the following steps first.
1. To enter Sleep Mode, hold the P1 button on
the motor head for approximately 6 seconds
until the shade jogs twice.
Don’t attempt to move the upper limit to a position higher
than the preset limit—that could damage your shade or
prematurely drain the batteries.

16 Adjusting Your Shade’s Limits and Favorite Position
Adjusting the Lower Limit
Don’t attempt to move the lower limit to a position lower
than the preset limit—that could damage your shade.
If your remote currently controls a group of shades, you’ll first need
to put the shades you do not wish to program to into Sleep Mode.
To do that, perform the following steps first.
1. To enter Sleep Mode, hold the P1 button on the motor head for
approximately 6 seconds.

1. Hold DOWN and STOP on
controller for approximately
5 seconds until the shade
jogs once.
2. Move shade to the desired
lowest position by pressing
the DOWN button.
3. To save lower limit,
hold DOWN and STOP for
approximately 5 seconds
until the shade jogs twice.
