Informazioni generali
Grazie per aver acquistato il nostro deumidificatore Bimar type DEU311.EU.
L’aria contiene sempre una certa quantità di acqua in forma di vapore. Tale vapore determina il
grado di umidità di un ambiente. All’aumentare della temperatura aumenta la capacità dell’aria di
trattenere vapore acqueo. Ecco perché nelle case, non appena la temperatura diminuisce, l’aria cede
il vapore acqueo in essa contenuto, che poi si deposita sotto forma di condensa su tutte le superfici
fredde quali finestre, pareti, ecc.
Il deumidificatore fa si che una parte dell’umidità venga eliminata dall’aria e evita (ad
es. formazione di muffa) provocati dalla condensa. Gli esperti hanno stabilito che le condizioni ideali
per la nostra salute e per la casa si ottengono tra il 40% e il 60% di umidità relativa.
AVVERTENZE GENERALI
Questo apparecchio è destinato solo all’uso domestico (quindi non professionale), unicamente per
il trattamento dell’aria di ambienti domestici, per deumidificare cioè ridurre la percentuale di
umidità relativa dell’aria, secondo le modalità riportate nel presente manuale. Questo apparecchio è
progettato per essere fatto funzionare in ambienti domestici ovviamente con porte, finestre e altre
aperture verso l’esterno chiuse, in locali adibiti a cucina, lavanderia (o ambienti simili), bagno,
ecc…. o aree con eccessiva umidità, utilizzare anche l’apparecchio in cantina per prevenire i danni
provocati dall’umidità o anche in luoghi in cui siano conservati libri o oggetti di valore.
L’apparecchio è creato per funzionare ad una temperatura compresa tra 5°C e 35°C. Non deve
essere utilizzato per applicazioni commerciali o industriali. Il costruttore non potrà essere ritenuto
responsabile di eventuali danni derivanti da uso improprio, erroneo e irresponsabile e/o da
riparazioni effettuate da personale non qualificato.

Esempi di apparecchi per ambiente domestico sono apparecchi per tipiche funzioni domestiche,
usati in ambito domestico, che possono essere utilizzati per tipiche funzioni domestiche anche da
persone non esperte:
- in negozi, uffici e altri luoghi di lavoro similari;
- in aziende agricole o similari;
- da clienti di alberghi, motel e altri ambienti di tipo residenziale;
- in ambienti del tipo bed and breakfast.
L’apparecchio non deve essere utilizzato in ambienti polverosi o con materiali estremamente
volatili (potrebbero ostruire griglie), o con prodotti infiammabili, o in ambienti esterni (all’aperto).
Utilizzare l’apparecchio solo con gli accessori forniti in dotazione, per non compromettere la
sicurezza d’impiego. Verificare periodicamente il buono stato dell’apparecchio e dei suoi elementi:
in caso di dubbio rivolgersi ad un centro assistenza autorizzato e accertarsi che i ricambi forniti
siano originali.
Assicurarsi che tutti i suoi elementi (serbatoio, filtro, griglia di aspirazione, tappo in gomma) siano
correttamente inseriti sull’apparecchio prima di metterlo in funzione.
Attenzione: quando si utilizzano apparecchi elettrici, occorre sempre rispettare le precauzioni di
sicurezza di base per evitare i rischi di incendio, di scosse elettriche e di lesioni fisiche. Ancor più
attenzione e precauzione necessita nell’uso di apparecchi elettrici che incorporano un serbatoio con
acqua: nel caso di tracimazioni di acqua e se dell’acqua dovesse bagnare il cordone e la spina di
corrente, per primo disattivare la presa di corrente spegnendo l’interruttore del quadro elettrico, e
solo dopo togliere la spina dalla presa di corrente. Asciugare con cura sia spina e cordone elettrico e
solo dopo riattivare la corrente alla presa. In caso di dubbio, rivolgersi a personale rofessionalmente
qualificato.
Non bere o utilizzare acqua drenata dal serbatoio.
Se l’apparecchio non è in funzione togliere la spina dalla presa di corrente.
Non tirare il cavo di alimentazione o l’apparecchio stesso per disinserire la spina dalla presa di
corrente.
Non tirare il cavo per spostare l’apparecchio.
Scollegare sempre l’apparecchio dalla presa di corrente prima di assemblare, smontare e prima di
pulire l’apparecchio.
Se il cavo di alimentazione è danneggiato, esso deve sostituito dal costruttore o dal suo servizio
assistenza tecnica o comunque da una persona con qualifica similare, in modo da prevenire ogni
rischio.
Non lasciare l’apparecchio esposto agli agenti atmosferici (sole, pioggia ecc..).
Non ostruire la griglia di aspirazione e di emissione aria.
Non spostare l’apparecchio durante il funzionamento.
Usare il deumidificatore sempre e solamente in posizione verticale; non sedersi o salire sull’unità.
Al fine di proteggersi da ogni rischio di shock elettrico, non immergere la spina, il cordone
elettrico e l’apparecchio nell’acqua od in nessun altro liquido.
Attenzione: per evitare il surriscaldamento non coprire l’apparecchio.
Questo apparecchio non è destinato a essere fatto funzionare per mezzo di un temporizzatore esterno o
con un sistema di comando a distanza separato, per evitare il rischio di incendio nel caso l’apparecchio
sia coperto o sia posizionato in modo non corretto.



Il deumidificatore deve essere utilizzato con una spina
e una presa equipaggiati di efficace messa a terra.
Se il cavo di alimentazione è danneggiato, esso
deve sostituito dal costruttore o dal suo servizio
assistenza tecnica o comunque da una persona con
qualifica similare, in modo da prevenire ogni
rischio.
Questo apparecchio deve essere collegato con la spina
in dotazione tramite una presa di corrente, non
utilizzare altre connessioni per il collegamento.
Questo apparecchio deve essere acceso e spento
correttamente, non togliere la spina dalla presa di
corrente se l’apparecchio è in funzione.
Per lunghi periodi di inattività, togliere la spina
dalla presa di corrente.
L’apparecchio potrà essere usato da bambini di età
superiore agli 8 anni e da persone con ridotte capacità
fisiche, sensoriali o mentali, o con mancanza di
esperienza e conoscenza, purchè ricevano la necessaria
sorveglianza o istruzioni riguardanti l’uso in sicurezza
dell’apparecchio e che siano consci dei potenziali
pericoli o se sorvegliati da una persona responsabile
della loro sicurezza. I bambini non devono giocare con
l’apparecchio. La pulizia e la manutenzione
dell’apparecchio non possono essere effettuate da
bambini a meno che non abbiano un’ètà superiore agli
8 anni e in ogni caso sotto la supervisione di un adulto.
Tenere l’apparecchio e il suo cavo di alimentazione
lontani dai bambini di età inferiore agli 8 anni.
Non toccare l’apparecchio o la spina di corrente
con mani bagnate e piedi bagnati.
Non introdurre dita, utensili (coltelli, forchette,
ecc.) o altro nelle griglie aria dell’umidificatore,
è molto pericoloso.



Adottate le dovute precauzioni per evitare che i
bambini giochino con l’apparecchio. L’apparecchio
con tutti gli accessori devono essere mantenuti fuori
dalla portata di bambini.
Posizionare il deumidificatore lontano da altre
fonti di calore, da materiali infiammabili (tende,
tappezzerie, ecc.), da gas infiammabili o materiale
esplosivo (bombolette spray).
Non porre mai per troppo tempo le mani o il corpo direttamente sulla bocchetta uscita aria, può provocare
danni per la salute del proprio corpo e anche del proprio animale.
INSTALLAZIONE
Dopo aver tolto l’imballaggio assicurarsi dell’integrità dell’apparecchio; in caso di dubbio non
utilizzarlo e rivolgersi a personale professionalmente qualificato. Gli elementi dell’imballaggio
(sacchetti in plastica, polistirolo, punti metallici, ecc…) non devono essere lasciati alla portata di
bambini o persone irresponsabili, in quanto possibili fonti di pericolo, ma vanno smaltiti secondo le
norme vigenti.
Prima di collegare l’apparecchio accertarsi che i dati di targa (tensione, ecc..) corrispondano a
quelli della vostra rete di distribuzione elettrica. Questo apparecchio deve essere collegato ad una
presa di corrente dotata di un efficace dispositivo per la messa a terra (la casa costruttrice declina
ogni responsabilità derivante dalla mancata osservazione di questa norma). Verificare che sulla
linea elettrica non siano collegati altri apparecchi ad elevato assorbimento, per evitare
sovraccarichi e rischi di incendio In generale è sconsigliato l’uso di adattatori, prese multiple e/o
prolunghe; se il loro uso si rendesse indispensabile, devono essere conformi alle vigenti norme di
sicurezza e la portata in corrente (ampères) non deve essere inferiore a quella massima
dell’apparecchio.
L’apparecchio non deve essere posizionato immediatamente al di sotto di una presa di corrente.
La presa di corrente deve essere facilmente accessibile in modo da poter disinserire con facilità la
spina in caso di emergenza.
Prima di ogni utilizzo verificare che l’apparecchio sia in buono stato, che il cordone elettrico non
sia danneggiato: in caso di dubbio rivolgersi a personale professionalmente qualificato.





Assicurarsi che il cordone elettrico sia posizionato correttamente e non sia a contatto con parti
calde o spigoli taglienti, né avvolto intorno all’apparecchio e non passi sotto la bistecchiera, non
sia attorcigliato su se stesso e non si impigli, onde evitare una caduta dell’apparecchio.
Posizionare l’apparecchio lontano da fonti di calore (per esempio un apparecchio a gas e/o radiatori
elettrici in funzione), da tessuti, lontano da asciugabiancheria o quant’altro che possa venire a
contatto e/o ostruire le griglie di aspirazione e di emissione, e verificare che lo spazio libero
anteriore e posteriore sia di almeno 50 cm. La superficie d’appoggio deve essere stabile, non in
pendenza in quanto l’apparecchio potrebbe ribaltarsi o tracimare gocce d’acqua.
Non installare il deumidificatore in ambienti dove vi sono prodotti infiammabili (gas, zolfo, olio,
ecc.), o in ambiente polverosi.
La superficie d’appoggio deve essere stabile, ampia (sono da escludere mensole), non in pendenza
(in quanto l’apparecchio potrebbe ribaltarsi), in posizione dove non possa subire urti. Non usare il
deumidificatore in ambienti piccoli e non appoggiare nulla sopra la griglia uscita aria, la mancanza
di un adeguata ventilazione può causare un surriscaldamento dell’apparecchio.
Posizionare l’apparecchio:
-lontano da altre fonti di calore (ad es. altri forni,
fornello gas, ecc. ), da materiali infiammabili
(tappezzerie, ecc.), materiale esplosivo (bombolette
spray) e da materiali che possono deformarsi con il
calore; verificare che lo spazio libero attorno
all’apparecchio sia di almeno 50 cm.
-contenitori di liquidi (ad esempio, vasche da bagno,
doccia, lavelli ecc.) per evitare schizzi d’acqua o che
vi possa cadere (distanza minima 2 metri). Nel caso
dovesse inavvertitamente bagnarsi o immergersi in un
liquido, per primo disattivare la presa di corrente
spegnendo
l’interruttore del quadro elettrico, e solo dopo togliere la spina dalla presa di corrente. Asciugare con
cura e verificare che le parti elettriche non si siano bagnate; in caso di dubbio rivolgersi a personale
professionalmente qualificato.
In caso di guasto o cattivo funzionamento spegnere l’apparecchio e farlo controllare da personale
professionalmente qualificato; le riparazioni effettuate da personale non qualificato possono essere
pericolose e fanno decadere la garanzia.
L’apparecchio non richiede opere di installazione, cioè pre-disposizione di attacchi elettrici / acqua
/ fissaggio / o altro, per il suo utilizzo.
In caso di trasporto, l’apparecchio deve restare in posizione verticale (almeno per un ora);
ovviamente il serbatoio deve essere perfettamente vuoto ed asciutto.
DESCRIZIONE
L’apparecchio è dotato di:
Unità principale (1): con griglia emissione aria (2), griglia entrata aria (3), filtro dell’aria (4),
pannello comandi (5), beccuccio scarico per tubo in continuo (6), tappo per beccuccio scarico (7),
avvolgicavo (8) e cordone elettrico (9).

Tasto “ ” (A): premere per accendere e per mettere in stand-by l’apparecchio.
Spia serbatoio pieno ( ): accesa quando l’acqua è arrivata al livello massimo o quando il
serbatoio non è inserito correttamente, l’apparecchio entrerà in modalità standby e la spia
corrispondente lampeggerà velocemente.
Quando il deumidificatore funziona a basse temperature (12-15°C) , può accumularsi della brina sulle
serpentine di evaporazione, il compressore arresta il suo ciclo ed il ventilatore continua a funzionare
fino alla scomparsa della brina. Se il deumidificatore si blocca, spegnere l’apparecchio e togliere la
spina dalla presa di corrente e successivamente riaccendere l’apparecchio. Se la temperatura della
stanza è sotto i 5°C il deumidificatore non può funzionare, la temperatura di lavoro deve essere
sempre compresa tra i 5-35°C.
Inoltre l’apparecchio è dotato di serbatoio per la raccolta dell’acqua; il serbatoio deve essere sempre
completamente inserito altrimenti l’apparecchio non funziona e quando è pieno d’acqua deve essere
svuotato. L’apparecchio è dotato anche di foro per il drenaggio continuo, con attacco gomma, il tubo
(diametro interno 12 mm ) deve avere la corretta pendenza al fine di drenare in continuo, vedere
paragrafo: scarico in continuo verso l’esterno.
USO
Prima di ogni utilizzo verificare che l’apparecchio sia in buono stato, che il cordone elettrico non sia
danneggiato: se il cavo di alimentazione è danneggiato, va sostituito dal costruttore o dal suo servizio
assistenza tecnica o comunque da una persona con qualifica similare, in modo da prevenire ogni
rischio. Attenzione: prima di assemblare l’apparecchio, smontaggio e pulizia dell’apparecchio
assicurarsi che sia scollegato dalla presa di corrente. All’interno del serbatoio può contenere un po’
d’acqua, perché residua dal collaudo precedentemente eseguito.
Assicurarsi che se l’acqua viene scaricata nel serbatoio (non tramite lo svuotamento in continuo
verso esterno), verificare che il tappo (7) sia inserito correttamente.
Inserire la spina nella presa di corrente.
Premere il pulsante “ ”.
Quando si estrae il serbatoio raccolta acqua, il deumidificatore entrerà in modalità standby non
appena il serbatoio viene reinserito si riavvia automaticamente.
Tranne quando occorre arieggiare il locale, tenere ben chiuse porte e finestre, in modo da
potenziare l’effetto di deumidificazione.
Per spegnere l’apparecchio, premere il tasto “ ” e togliere la spina dalla presa di corrente.
Per lunghi periodi di inattività, togliere la spina dalla presa di corrente.
Svuotamento serbatoio acqua manualmente
Quando il serbatoio è pieno, il deumidificatore si spegne, la spia
luminosa “ ” si accende e l’apparecchio rimarrà in stand-by;
spegnere l’apparecchio tramite il il pulsante “ ”, togliere la spina
dalla presa di corrente e rimuovere il serbatoio e svuotarlo in un
lavandino o in una vasca da bagno. Terminata operazione,
reinserire correttamente il serbatoio, inserire la spina di corrente e
riaccendere il deumidificatore tramite il tasto “ ”.



Scarico in continuo verso l’esterno
È possibile far funzionare l’apparecchio per un
lungo periodo di tempo in modo continuo senza
svuotare periodicamente il serbatoio utilizzando
un tubo di scarico (non in dotazione, 10).
Verificare che il deumidificatore è spento e
togliere la spina dalla presa di corrente.
Rimuovere il tappo in gomma in dotazione (8)
nella parte posteriore dal foro di uscita del
connettore di scarico (9).
Collegare il tubo (diametro interno 12 mm e lunghezza non oltre 1,5 m.) al connettore di scarico
ed a uno scarico esterno. Verificare: che il tubo sia ben fissato e non possa sfilarsi, e che lo
scarico sia ad un livello inferiore del connettore.
Verificare che il tubo di scarico rimanga in pendenza e che non superi il livello del connettore
(vedi figure): in caso contrario l’acqua resterà nel serbatoio. Controllare inoltre che il tubo non sia
strozzato, piegato o intasato.
Attenzione: se non si utilizza la funzione di svuotamento continuo, togliere il tubo di scarico
dall’uscita, inserire il tappo in gomma nel connettore.



PULIZIA E MANUTENZIONE
Attenzione: prima di eseguire le normali operazioni di pulizia, togliere la spina dalla presa di
corrente.
Per la pulizia del serbatoio, utilizzare acqua con un normale detergente per stoviglie, e strofinare
con una spugnetta morbida (non utilizzare pagliette metalliche o prodotti abrasivi). Sciacquare con
cura e asciugare completamente. La temperatura dell’acqua non deve superare i 40°C. E’
importante che il serbatoio sia lavato bene e subito dopo l’impiego, per evitare formazione di
batteri o cattivi odori.
Assicurarsi periodicamente che il filtro dell’aria (4) sia pulito e non
risulti ostruito da lanugine o sfilacci. Per rimuovere il filtro togliere il
serbatoio, premere la linguetta (11) del filtro e tirarlo verso il basso,
come in figura. Per togliere la polvere utilizzare uno spazzolino o un
aspirapolvere, facendo attenzione a non danneggiare alcuna parte. Se il
filtro è molto sporco, lavarlo in acqua tiepida e risciacquare più volte. La
temperatura dell’acqua non deve superare i 40°C. Dopo averlo lavato,
lasciarlo asciugare completamente prima di reinserirlo. Non lavarlo in
lavastoviglie.
Non utilizzare il deumidificatore senza filtro poiché potrebbe riempirsi di sporco e non funzionare
al meglio.
Unità principale ed il pannello comandi può essere pulita unicamente con un panno morbido
leggermente imbevuto d’acqua e/o normale detersivo. Non può essere lavato in lavastoviglie e
neppure sotto il getto d’acqua: nel caso le parti elettriche (inclusi cordone e spina) si bagnino,
asciugare con cura e completamente prima dell’utilizzo.
Per periodi lunghi di inutilizzo, è necessario stivare l’apparecchio sempre l’apparecchio in
posizione verticale, al riparo da polvere e umidità; consigliamo di utilizzare l’imballo originale.
R134A è un refrigerante che rispetta le normative europee sull’ecologia, tuttavia si raccomanda di
non perforare il circuito refrigerante dell’apparecchio. Alla fine della sua vita utile il prodotto non
deve essere smaltito insieme ai rifiuti urbani, ma consegnato presso gli appositi centri di raccolta.
Se si decide di non utilizzare più l’apparecchio, si raccomanda di renderlo inoperante tagliando il
cavo di alimentazione (prima assicurarsi d’aver tolto la spina dalla presa di corrente), e di rendere
innocue quelle parti che sono pericolose qualora utilizzate per gioco dai bambini.
Non disperdere nell’ambiente prodotti non biodegradabili, ma smaltirli nel rispetto delle norme
vigenti. Alla fine della sua vita utile il prodotto non deve essere smaltito insieme ai rifiuti urbani.
Può essere consegnato presso gli appositi centri di raccolta differenziata predisposti dalle
amministrazioni comunali, oppure presso i rivenditori che forniranno questo servizio all’acquisto di
un nuovo apparecchio. Smaltire separatamente un elettrodomestico consente di evitare possibili
conseguenze negative per l’ambiente e per la salute derivanti da un suo smaltimento
inadeguato e permette di recuperare i materiali di cui è composto al fine di ottenere un
importante risparmio di energia e risorse. Per rimarcare l’obbligo di smaltire
separatamente gli elettrodomestici, sul prodotto è riportato il marchio del contenitore
di spazzatura mobile barrato.



RISOLUZIONE DEI PROBLEMI

General Information
Thank you for purchasing our Bimar dehumidifier type DEU311.EU.
The air always contains a certain amount of water in the form of vapour. This vapour determines the
degree of humidity of an environment. As the temperature increases, so does the capacity of the air to
hold water vapour. That's why as soon as the temperature decreases in homes, the air releases the
water vapour contained in it, which then settles in the form of condensation on all the cold surfaces
such as windows, walls, etc.
The dehumidifier works by removing part of the moisture from the air and prevents (e.g.
mold) caused by condensation. Experts have determined that the ideal conditions for our health and
for the home are obtained between 40% and 60% relative humidity.
GENERAL WARNINGS
This device is designed for domestic use only (not professional), solely for air treatment in
domestic environments, to dehumidify in order to reduce the percentage of relative humidity, in the
manner provided in this manual. This device is designed to be operated in the home with doors,
windows and other external openings closed, in rooms used as a kitchen, laundry room (or similar
area), bathroom, etc.... or for areas with excessive moisture, the device can also be used in the
basement to prevent moisture damage or where books or valuables are stored. The device is
designed to operate at a temperature between 5 °C and 35 °C. It should not be used for commercial

Examples of devices for domestic use are those used for typical domestic reasons, in domestic
environments and that can be used by non-experts:
- in shops, offices and other similar places of work;

of electrical devices incorporating a water tank: in the event that the water overflows and if the
water gets the cable and power plug wet, first turn the power plug off at the switch on the electrical

Do not drink or use water drained from the tank.
If the device is not being used, unplug it from the plug point.

The dehumidifier must be used with a plug and a
socket fitted with effective grounding.
If the power cable is damaged, it must be
replaced by the manufacturer or its technical
assistance centre or by someone who is
similarly qualified, in order to prevent any
risks.
This device must be connected with the plug supplied
via an outlet, do not use other connections for the
connection.
This device must be switched on and off
correctly, do not remove the plug from the
outlet while the unit is in operation.
If the device is not in use for long periods of
time, remove the plug from the plug point.
The device can be used by children over 8 years old
and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge,
provided they receive the necessary supervision or
instructions concerning the safe use of the device and
that they are aware of the potential dangers or are
supervised by a person responsible for their safety.
Children should not play with the device. The cleaning
and maintenance of the device should not be
performed by anyone under 8 years of age and in any
case always under the supervision of an adult. Keep

Take the necessary precautions to prevent children
playing with the device. The device and its
components (including the adapter) must not be kept
within reach of children.

Never place your hands or body on the air
outlet for too long, as this can damage your
health and as well as that of your pet.
Place the dehumidifier away from other heat sources, flammable materials (curtains, upholstery, etc.),
flammable or explosive material (aerosol cans).
INSTALLATION
After unpacking, check the integrity of the device; if in doubt, do not use and contact a qualified
technician. The packaging materials (plastic bags, polystyrene, metal staples, etc.) must not be left
within reach of children or irresponsible persons, as they constitute possible sources of danger and
must be disposed of according to applicable regulations.
Before plugging in the device, ensure that the details on the identification plate (power, etc...)
correspond to those of your power supply. This device must be connected to a power outlet with an
effective grounding device (the manufacturer accepts no liability arising from failure to follow this
rule). Ensure that other high power devices are not connected to the same power point in order to
avoid overloading and fire risks. The use of adaptors, multiple plug points or extensions is
generally not advisable; if it is necessary to use them, they must conform to safety regulations and
the total current (amps) must not be rated lower than the maximum current of the device.
The device must not be placed directly beneath a plug point.
The plug point must be easily accessible so as to easily remove the plug in case of an emergency.
Before each use, check that the equipment is in good condition, that the wiring is not damaged: if in
doubt consult a qualified professional.
Ensure that the power cable is correctly positioned and does not come into contact with hot parts or
sharp edges, or become wound around the device itself, pass underneath the grill, is not twisted and
does not snag, in order to prevent the device from falling.
Place the unit away from heat sources (e.g. a gas devices and / or electric radiators in operation),
fabrics, tumble dryers or anything else that may come in contact and / or obstruct the air intake and

outlet, and check the free space front and rear is at least 50 cm. The bearing surface must be stable,
non-sloping to avoid the device tipping over or dripping water.
Do not install the dehumidifier in environments where there are flammable products (gas, sulphur,
oil, etc.), or in a dusty environment.
The surface where the device is used must be stable, spacious (do not use on shelves), and level
(since the device could tip over) and where it will not be knocked. Do not use the dehumidifier in
small areas and do not place anything on top of the air outlet grid since the lack of adequate
ventilation can cause overheating.
Position the device:
-far from other heat sources (e.g. ovens, gas stoves
etc.), flammable materials (tapestries, etc.), explosive
materials (spray cans) and materials that can become
deformed with heat; ensure that there is at least 50cm
of free space around the device.
-liquid containers (e.g. bathtubs, showers, sinks etc.) to
avoid splashing water and to avoid it falling
(minimum 2 metres). Should it accidentally get wet
or fall into a liquid, first turn off the power outlet by
turning off
the main switch on the electrical panel, and only then remove the plug from the socket. Dry
thoroughly and check that the electrical parts are not wet; if in doubt consult a qualified professional.
If there is a fault or the device is not working correctly, switch it off and have it checked by a
qualified professional. Repairs done by an unqualified person can be dangerous and cause the
guarantee to become void.
The device does not require any installation work, i.e. pre-arrangement of electrical connections /
water / anchoring / or other for its use.
In the event of transport, the device must remain in an upright position (for at least an hour);
obviously the tank must be completely empty and dry.
DESCRIPTION
The device is equipped with:
Main unit (1): with air outlet nozzle (2), air inlet grid (3), air filter (4), control panel (5), exhaust
nozzle for continuous tube (6), discharge spout cap (7), cable reel (8) or electric cable (9).
Description of Control Panel
Button “ ” (A): Press to turn on or to put the device on standby.
Tank full light ( ): on full when the water has reached the maximum level or blinking quickly
when the tank is not correctly inserted and the device will enter standby mode.
When the dehumidifier operates at low temperatures (12-15 °C), frost may build up on the evaporator
coils, the compressor will stop its cycle and the fan will continue running until the frost disappears. If
the dehumidifier is blocked, switch off the device and unplug it from the mains, and then turn it back
on. If the room temperature is below 5 °C, the dehumidifier will not work; the operating temperature
must be between 5-35 °C.



Moreover, the device is equipped with a tank to collect water; the tank must always be fully inserted
or the device will not work and it must be emptied when it is full of water. The device is also
equipped with a hole for continuous drainage, with a rubber attachment, the tube (12 mm internal
diameter) must have the proper slope to drain continuously, see section: continuous drain to the
outside.
USE
Before each use, check that the equipment is in good condition, that the wiring is not damaged: if the
power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its technical assistance centre or
by someone who is similarly qualified, in order to prevent any risks. Warning: before the
assembling, disassembling and cleaning of the device, make sure it is disconnected from the mains.
There may be a bit of water left over inside the tank from any testing previously performed.
Make sure that if the water is discharged into the tank (not via emptying continuously towards the
outside), check that the cap (7) is placed properly.
Insert the plug into the socket, the " " .
Press “ ”.
When pulling out the water collection tank, the dehumidifier will switch off; as soon as the tank is
replaced, the device will automatically restart.
Keep doors and windows tightly sealed to enhance the effect of dehumidification, other than
when necessary to ventilate the room.
To turn off the unit, press “ ” and remove the plug from the mains.
If the device is not in use for long periods of time, remove the plug from the plug point.
Emptying water tank manually
When the tank is full, the dehumidifier will switch off and the " "
indicator light will come on and the device will remain on standby;
turn off the device with the “ ”button, remove the plug from the
mains, remove the tank and drain it into a sink or a bathtub. After
operation, replace the tank properly, plug the device into the mains
and turn it on using the “ ” button.
Continuous drain to the outside.
The device can be operated continuously
for long periods of time without the
periodic emptying of the tank by means of
a discharge tube (not supplied, 10).
Check that the dehumidifier is switched off
and remove the plug from the mains.
Remove the rubber cap supplied (8) at the
back from the outlet hole of the outlet
connector (9).



Connect the tube (12 mm internal diameter and not more than 1.5 m in length) to the outlet
connector and an external drain. Check: that the tube is secured and cannot slip off, and that the
drain is at a lower level than the connector.
Make sure that the drainage pipe is sloping and that it is not higher than the level of the connector
(see figure): otherwise the water will remain in the tank. Also check that the tube is not choked,
bent or clogged.
Warning: if you are not using the continuous drainage feature, remove the drainage pipe from the
outlet and insert the rubber cap in the connector.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Important: before performing routine cleaning, remove the plug from the mains.
To clean the tank, use water with a regular dishwashing detergent, and wipe with a soft sponge (do
not use steel wool or abrasive products). Rinse and dry thoroughly. The water temperature should
not exceed 40 °C. It is important that the tank is washed well and immediately after use to avoid
the formation of bacteria or odours.
Periodically check that the air filter (4) is clean and that it is not clogged
by lint or fluff. To remove the filter, press the tab (11) in and push the
filter upward, as shown. To remove dust, use a brush or a vacuum
cleaner, taking care not to damage any part. If the filter is very dirty,
wash it in warm water and rinse several times. The water temperature
should not exceed 40 °C. After washing, allow it to dry completely
before replacing it. Do not wash it in the dishwasher.
Do not use the dehumidifier without a filter because it may fill with dirt and will thus not work its
best.
The main unit and control panel must only be cleaned with a soft cloth that has been slightly
dampened either with just water and/or detergent. It cannot be washed in the dishwasher or even
under the running water: if the electrical parts (including cable and plug) get wet, dry them
thoroughly and completely before use.
For long periods of time, you should stow the unit always the device upright, away from dust and
moisture; we recommend using the original packaging.
R134A is a refrigerant that complies with the European regulations on ecology; however, we must
recommend that you avoid piercing the refrigeration circuit of the device. At the end of its life, the
product must not be disposed of with household waste; it must be taken to a special collection
centre.



If you decide to no longer use the device, it is recommended that it is made inoperative by cutting
the power cable (first ensure that the device has been unplugged from the power supply), and
ensure that any parts that could represent a risk to playing children are put away.
Do not dump non-biodegradable products; be sure to dispose of them in compliance with existing
regulations. At the end of its life, the product must not be disposed of as part of ordinary waste. It
should be handed in to specific collection centres set up by the municipality, or to retailers who
provide such a service following the purchase of a new device. Disposing of a household device
separately helps to avoid possible negative consequences for the environment and human health
resulting from inappropriate disposal
and allows the recovery of those materials in order to obtain significant savings in
energy and resources. As a reminder of the obligation to dispose of devices

L'air contient toujours une certaine quantité d'eau sous forme de vapeur. Cette vapeur détermine le

Exemples d'appareils pour environnement domestique, ce sont des appareils pour des fonctions
domestiques typiques, utilisés dans l'environnement domestique et qui peuvent être utilisés pour des
fonctions domestiques typiques, même par des non-experts :
- dans des magasins, des bureaux et d’autres lieux de travail similaires ;
- dans des exploitations agricoles ou similaires ;

Ne pas laisser l’appareil exposé aux agents atmosphériques (soleil, pluie etc..).
Ne pas bloquer la grille d’entrée d’air et d’émission de l’air.
Ne pas déplacer l’appareil durant son fonctionnement.
Utiliser le déshumidificateur toujours et seulement à la verticale ; ne pas s’asseoir ou monter sur
l’appareil.
Afin de se protéger de tout risque d’électrocution, ne pas immerger la fiche, le cordon électrique et
l’appareil dans l’eau ou dans n’importe quel autre liquide.
Attention : pour éviter la surchauffe, ne pas couvrir l’appareil.
