Position the T-bar above the hole on the
footbard. Make sure to align the T-bar latch
with the notch in the hole. Depress the latch
and slide the T-bar into the hole. You should
hear a click when the T-bar locks into place.
Conrm the T-bar is secure by ipping the
Birdie over and check that the latch is visible
underneath the footboard hole.
Before allowing your child to ride, make sure
the neck, wheels, and frame of the Birdie have
no obvious signs of damage and all screws are
tight.

MAINTENANCE
The wheels should be checked regularly with
the screw in the wheel tightened if loose.
To tighten the wheels, use a small at blade
screwdriver to remove the screw covers.
Use a 5 mm hex tool to tighten the screw in the
wheel.
Please note, for added safety, the front left
wheel of the Birdie uses a left-handed screw
that tightens in the counterclockwise direction.
The front right and rear wheel use regular
screws that tighten in the clockwise direction.
When complete, replace the screw covers.
