1. Printer setting
1.1 Cable specifications (SRP-270, SRP-350, SRP-370/372)
- Use the serial cable that satisfies following specifications.
- If you don’t use incompatible cable, the printer may not work properly.
* Epson compatible cable mode
- IFA-S type and IFB-S type have Dip switch on the bracket
- Set the Dip switch on the interface card as following;
Bixolon Samsung compatible mode Epson compatible mode
1.2 Cable specification (SRP-275, SRP-500)
- Use the serial cable that satisfies following specifications.
- If you don’t use incompatible cable, the printer may not work properly
* Epson compatible cable mode
- IFC-S Type is compatible with both Bixolon Samsung and Epson cable specifications.

2. Windows driver Installation and configuration
2.1 Operating Environment
-Microsoft Windows 98 Gold
-Microsoft Windows 98 Second Edition
-Microsoft Windows Millennium Edition
-Microsoft Windows 2000
-Microsoft Windows XP
-Microsoft Windows 2003 Server
-Microsoft Windows Embedded For Point Of Service
2.2 Windows driver installation
1) Double click Driver Installer file.
2) Click “Next” Button.
3) Click “Install” Button.

4) Select operating system type.
5) Select “Serial” interface(port) type.
6) Click “Next” button three times.
* If you see the below dialog, please click ”Continue Anyway”
The printer and driver will work properly and they will not affect to the host.

2.4 Printer seting
1) You can change the baud rate of the printer by setting dip switch of the printer
2) Refer to the dip switch setting of each model at Appendix A
3) After changing dip switch setting, please turn off and turn on the printer to affect new setting.
4) Perform self-test to check if new baud rate was set properly.
5) In accordance to the printer setting, set the Windows driver properly.
2.4 Windows driver setting
1) Start> Printers and Faxes
2) Click printer icon with right button of mouse and select “Property”

3) Click “Port” and select proper port
4) Click “Configure port”
7) Set the baud rate and other options same as the printer setting (refer to the self-test receipt)
and click “OK”
6) Click “General” tab and press “Print Test page” to see if the printer works properly.
