With no software, setup is easy. Just plug in the cables and go!
OVERVIEW
With the True-Color LCD Panel you can project vivid
color images from almost any composite video source—your
computer screen, VCR, Laser Disc Player, or video camera—
onto a large screen using an overhead projector. Just plug
the True-Color LCD Panel into your laptop and lay it on top
of an overhead projector. With no software setup, you’re up
and running in minutes.
The True-Color LCD Panel is easy to use. It automatically
senses NTSC, PAL, or SECAM formats, and the maximum
number of colors required by each software program. And all
cabling and accessories needed to connect to an IBM®XT/AT®
or PS/2®with a VGA monitor or a Mac®with DB15 connectors
and 640 x 480 resolution are included.
The True-Color LCD Panel uses an active TFT (Thin Film
Transistor) color panel where the video image is generated.
TFT is faster and supports more colors along with a higher
contrast.
Adjust contrast, tint, centering, text/graphic mode, or
mirror-image selection using an on-screen menu or by remote
control. Any adjustments you make are stored so you don’t
have to set your preferences every time you use the machine.
A serial mouse cable (DB9 to 6-pin mini-DIN) is included
for DOS and Windows®applications. This lets you control
the cursor from the control panel or the remote control.
And you never have to worry about your panel failing in
the middle of a session. A triple-fan cooling system keeps the
panel running smoothly throughout your presentation—even
if it takes all day.
The panel also makes the perfect traveling companion,
weighing only 4.8 pounds (2.2 kg), so you can take it just
about anywhere. And for added convenience, use a Soft-Side
Carrying Case (AC405A) for transporting the LCD Panel.
You may also need a Laser Pointer (AC435A) or a Remote
Mouse with Laser (AC480A-R3; see Product Specification Sheet
12795) to accompany your True-Color LCD Panel. These tools
will allow you the freedom to walk around the room, even
into the audience, during your presentation.
For best results, use projectors with indirect lighting, bulb
types ENX, FXI, metal hallide, or a lamp with greater than
3500-lumen output.
