Connect a standard Ethernet (CAT5) cable from PC
network adapter to 90XW configuration port.
Connect 24 VAC or 12-30 VDC power to the LWS40xA.
Connect serial port on LWS40xA to serial port on the
serial device (optional for configuration).

Turn on the power, the LWS40xA will boot up
LEDs will perform a boot-up sequence:
•Power LED will light and remain lit.
•Signal Strength will be white for 5
seconds before going yellow/red/dark.
•All LEDs will blink for 0.5 seconds once
the device is read

Navigate to Network page, select Wired Port, IP Address.
Navigate to Wireless Settings, provide SSID name, security.
Navigate to Serial Configuration, set up serial parameters to
match serial device.
Click Apply and Restart.

LWS40xA will boot up and attempt to connect to the
designated access point.
Link LED will light with it makes the connection.
Communication will occur between PC and serial device.
Configure PC to Work in the 192.168.0.x
private address range.
Open a web browser.
Browse to 192.168.0.200
Enter your Username and Password to Login.
The default username is “Administrator” with
no password.
