2. Introduction
The ABC Bus Switch is designed for use with custom-
made cables using 50-pin Berg-type connectors. A
common device can be connected to either of two other
devices as shown below. A rotary switch on the front
panel controls this operation.

Three male 50-pin connectors are mounted on the rear
panel, as shown in the illustration below.
The rotary switch on the front panel controls the
switching of the common socket
“C” to either socket “A”
or socket “B” (see Table 1). 48 pins are switched. The two
unswitched pins are specified by you when you order the
unit.

3. Installation
1. Plug the cable from the device that is to be
common, into the C socket on the rear panel.
2. Plug the cables from the devices that are to be
switched, into sockets A or B.
3. Set the rotary switch on the front panel as
required.
The ABC Bus Switch is now ready for operation.
