Thank you for choosing the B-Lux 1.
Please read this brief operating manual carefully and keep it in a safe place.
The following things should be in the packaging:

First Installation:
Please fully charge the B-Lux 1 before using it for the first time.
To do this, use the supplied USB cable and connect it to a power supply (for example from your cell
phone 5V 1Ah).
The LED lights up red during the charging process. When the charging process is complete, the LED
lights up green. You can now put your B-Lux 1 into operation. To do this, press the On button until
the blue LED lights up. Switch off the B-Lux 1 in the same way.
Please note that you should close the USB lock properly after charging. Otherwise moisture can
penetrate the device. The B-Lux 1 is water-repellent but not waterproof.
You will wonder why only one LED lights up. The two LEDs alternate every 5 minutes. This means that
the light comes into different areas in your refrigerator.

How to fix the B-Lux 1:
The B-Lux 1 from blu4fresh can be placed individually in your own refrigerator. The assembly is done
by means of the metal plate which is provided with an adhesive film and is thus attached to the
inside wall of the refrigerator.
Please make sure that you measure the distances to shelves or other structural devices in the
refrigerator before fitting. Once attached, the adhesive film on the metal plate can no longer be
used.
Rub the desired area in the fridge clean and dry.
Remove the protective film from the metal pad and press the metal pad firmly onto the desired
surface.
The B-Lux 1 has a magnet in the housing that holds the B-Lux 1 on the metal plate.
To charge the battery, the B-Lux 1 can be easily removed from the metal plate and reattached after
charging.
Note:
As soon as the battery power drops, the LEDs start to flash.
You may also have to rearrange the contents of your fridge. You yourself determine how much light
falls on your fruit and vegetables.
Depending on the nature of the packaging, packaged goods or goods in plastic bowls are not
illuminated by the blue light. The food should be unpacked or only stored in cling film in the
refrigerator.
Disposal:
If you have to dispose of the device in the future, please note that all electrical and electronic devices
in public disposal points must be disposed of separately from household waste.
Avoid environmental damage and personal health risks by properly disposing of the device.
For more information on proper disposal, contact your local authority, waste disposal facility, or the
store where you purchased the device.
Dispose of all packaging in an environmentally friendly manner.
Cardboard packaging can be taken to paper recycling bins or public collection points for recycling.
All films or plastics contained in the packaging should be taken to your public collection point for
disposal.

Respect the environment. Old batteries must not be disposed of with household waste. They must be
handed in to a collection point for used batteries. Please note that the batteries must be completely
discharged at suitable collection points for old batteries. When disposing of batteries that are not
fully discharged, take precautions to avoid short circuits.

require the CE mark to be affixed.

Guarantee:
The guarantee period is 4 months from the date of purchase.
Warranty provisions:
The warranty period begins on the date of purchase. Keep the proof of purchase in a safe place. It is
required to prove the warranty period.
In the event of material or manufacturing errors within 4 months of purchase, we will repair or
replace the device free of charge at our discretion.
To do this, you must send the defective device to our service center along with the proof of purchase
and a brief description of the error within these 4 months.
If the error is classified as a warranty obligation, you will receive a replacement device from us.
The warranty period does not start again if the device has been repaired or replaced.
Warranty handlin :
Contact your dealer. Have the serial number and proof of purchase of the device ready. Our
customer service may be able to resolve the error in advance. If the error cannot be rectified, you will
receive instructions on the address to which you must send the device.
