Start at the center of the tripod and unwind the guy rope while walking
away from the mast. Take one NORMAL step for each meter of height
of the mast. 15M = 15 Steps. One person should deploy all 4 guy ropes.
Add the red primary guy ring
and pin it to the bottom hole on
the mounting pole.
Attach and secure your devices
to the mast. Use velcro straps
to secure any cables.
Stop - unwind the guy rope, drive
a stake into the ground at an
angle and attach the guy rope.
Add the mounting pole (1/2 the
size of a mast pole) to the top of
the mast pole.
Slide the blue secondary guy
ring onto the mounting pole.
DO NOT lock it at this time.
Secure the tripod by driving
stakes through the two holes on
each of the 3 tripod base plates.
Release the cam lock on the
bottom of the tripod.
Insert first mast pole leaving at
least 4 Inches above the tripod
and lock the cam lock.
Unfold the tripod legs and make
sure the cross bars are locked
into position.
Loosen turn knobs on each
the tripod legs and allow them
to fully extend.
Make sure the base plates are
flat on the ground and tighten
the turn knobs.
Level the tripod by using the
three bubbles levels and adjust-
ing the tripod legs.
Stand the tripod up with the

Slide the handle towards the mast approx. 7 feet. This will take up the
slack in the guy rope during deployment and prepare you for incremental
guying. Repeat this process until all 4 guy ropes are 90 degrees apart.
Attach the 1st primary guy rope
to the round hole on the red
primary guy ring.
Attach the winch handle. Pay
out the cable by turning the
winch handle counter clockwise
01/17
The cable should hang freely on

should not hang over anything.

Locate the lift base plate and
set it on the ground below the
mast pole in the tripod.
Locate the ball stop holder on
the bottom of the tripod
opposite the winch.
22
26
Lock the cam lock and lower the
lift base plate to the ground.
Insert another mast pole.
WARNING: If at any point the
mast begins to slip while the
cam lock is locked - STOP
Use the 7/16 wrench and tight-
en the cam lock a quarter turn
until slipping no longer occurs.
Repeat steps 25 - 28 until you
have reached 1/2 the total mast
Height.
STOP at 1/2 the total mast
height and lock the cam lock on
the blue secondary guy ring.
Attach the blue clip of the 1st secondary guy rope to the round hole on the
secondary guy ring and walk away from the mast while unwinding all of
the guy rope. Place it on the ground between the 2 primary guy ropes.
DO NOT stake the secondary
guy rope at this time.
Repeat this process until all secondary guy ropes have been deployed
at a 45 degree angle from the primary guy ropes. DO NOT Stake the

Confirm that the cable is taut
and the cam lock is locked.
Incremental Guying: Loosen the guy ropes based on the length of the pole below the cam lock. See examples
above. If the length of the pole under the cam lock is 1 foot - slide the handle back 1 foot on each of the 4
primary guy ropes. This will allow you enough room to raise the mast and prepare to deploy the next pole.
Confirm the mast is straight and
the primary guy ropes are taut.
40
37
Raise the mast until 4 inches is
showing below the cam lock
and LOCK THE CAM LOCK.
Make sure all 4 primary guy
ropes are taut and the mast is
straight.
Lower the lift base plate, insert
a mast pole and raise it until the
poles nest together.
One at a time, slowly loosen the primary guy ropes by holding the guy
rope in front of the handle and sliding the handle back approx. 4 ft.
Doing this will give you enough slack to add another mast pole.
NOTE: The mast will lean, but
will straighten up as you raise
the next mast pole.
When the primary guy ropes go taut or if the mast begins to lean exces-
sively - Stop and Lock the Cam Lock. Now adjust all 4 PRIMARY GUY
ROPES and make sure the mast is straight and perpendicular.
Adjusting the Primary Guy Ropes
Hold the rope in front of the guy handle and slide the handle back to
loosen or forward to tighten.
Raise the mast until the primary
guy ropes go taut. Incremental
guying may be required.
Release the cam lock and raise
the mast until the 4 primary guy
ropes go taut.
Lower the last pole to the
ground and lock the cam lock.
Adjust the 4 primary guy ropes
and make sure the mast is
straight and perpendicular.
Repeat this process until you
have deployed all mast poles.

AL2 Lift Series Manual at all times
Drive two tripod stakes through two of the holes in the lift base plate.
Person #2 should go to the guy rope that is 90 degrees from person #1.
This will allow you to see how far each guy rope needs to be adjusted to
get the mast straight. Rotate to the other guy ropes to finish adjustment.
It may take a couple rotations to
get the mast straight and per-
pendicular.
Adjust the 4 Primary Guy Ropes
2 ppl.
If the mast is leaning, Person #1
should go to the guy rope oppo-
site the way the mast is leaning.
Lock the primary guy ropes by pulling a small amount of slack in. Use
your finger and loop the guy rope over the front lip of the guy handle.
Pull the guy handle towards the mast to remove any slack in the rope.

primary guy ropes. Pull each of the secondary guy ropes out to it’s fullest
distance, drive a stake into the ground and clip the guy rope to the stake.
60
Adjust, lock and secure the secondary guy ropes. Pull a small amount of slack in the rope and wrap it over the
rope lock on the front of the guy handle. Repeat this process until all 4 primary guy ropes have been adjusted
and locked.
Secure the 4 secondary guy
ropes at this time.
