2. Características de la máquina / Machine features

BMC Agrícola fabrica 4 modelos de abonadoras pendulares (AMP, AIP, AIG y ASG).
A todos los modelos se les puede acoplar la apertura hidráulica, criba y el kit de luces de
carretera.
BMC Agricola produces 4 different models of pendulum spreaders (AMP, AIP, AIG y ASG).
Hydraulic opening, sieve and light kit are optional in each model.

2.2. Características técnicas / Technical data
Todas las máquinas fabricadas por BMC Agrícola han sido fabricadas con materiales de
elevada calidad. Las abonadoras pendulares de las series AMP, AIP, AIG y ASG permiten
una distribución del abono homogénea.
All machines manufactured by BMC Agricola has been made with high quality materials.
The pendulum spreaders of serie AMP, AIP, AIG y ASG allow an homogeneous
distribution.
El abono cae por gravedad al tubo, a través de la salida situada en el fondo de la tolva, la
cual se abre por medio del mando manual. La dosificación del producto varía en función
de la sección de apertura, la cual se regula por medio de la varilla de regulación. En base
a la tipología y granulometría del fertilizante es posible la regulación de la curva de
distribución y la anchura de trabajo, obteniendo un diagrama de distribución con un perfil
determinado. La robustez del chasis, sometido a un tratamiento antióxido con pintura en
polvo, unido a la tolva de poliéster, asegura una larga vida a la máquina.
The fertilizer falls by gravity into the spout through the outlet at the bottom of the
hopper, which opens by manual control. The dosage of the product varies depending on
the opening section, which is controlled by an adjusting rod. Base on the type and
particle size of the fertilizer it is possible to regulate the distribution curve and work
width. The robustness of the frame with a treatment with anti-rust paint powder and the
polyester hopper ensure a long life to the machine.

3. Transporte de la máquina / Transport of the machine
3.1. Estabilidad del tractor / Tractor stability
Es obligatorio verificar la capacidad y estabilidad del tractor
antes de efectuar el acoplamiento de la máquina para evitar la
posibilidad de volcar y/o la pérdida de adherencia de las
ruedas.
It is necessary to verify the stability of the tractor before
coupling the machine to avoid the possibility of fall over and
loss of adhesion of the wheels.
La estabilidad del tractor debe ser verificada a través de la siguiente fórmula:
The tractor stability could be verified with the following formula:

3.2. Enganche al tractor / Hook to the tractor
La abonadora BMC puede ser enganchada a cualquier tipo de tractor con acoplamiento
universal al tercer punto. Las máquinas están provistas de un enganche rápido que
consiste en una barra (A) y dos gatillos (B). Para facilitar la operación de enganche se
aconseja montar la barra (A) sobre los brazos inferiores del elevador del tractor.
Posteriormente, para cargar la máquina, abrir los gatillos (B) acercar el tractor hasta
insertar la barra conectada al elevador en las ranuras de alojamiento, cerrar los gatillos y
asegurarse de la correcta sujeción de los bulones laterales.
The pendulum spreader could be attached to any tractor with a hydraulic lift. The loplink
on the spreader, mounted to the three-point link on the tractor, has a maximum gap of 2
inches in order to avoid contact of the two sidelinks (3) with the tractor tires.
Conectar el tercer punto al enganche superior y regular la largura con el fin de posicionar
la máquina paralela al suelo. Antes de enganchar la máquina al tercer punto del tractor,
verificar que la leva de control de elevación se encuentra en posición, de manera que no
pueda elevarse o bajarse accidentalmente. Alzar la máquina unos pocos centímetros del
suelo y colocar correctamente los tirantes de la barra de elevación y los dos tensores
para evitar el movimiento lateral e impedir excesivas oscilaciones durante la fase de
trabajo. La máquina debe posicionarse, mediante los brazos elevadores del tractor a una
distancia entre el suelo y la parte inferior del tubo pendular, de aproximadamente 80-90
cm. Para obtener una distribución homogénea es importante que el tubo pendular quede
en posición horizontal respecto al terreno.
Connecting the third point top link and regulate the length in order to put he machine

distance between the ground and the bottom of the pendulum spout has to be 80-90 cm.

horizontal relative to the ground.

3.3. Apertura hidráulica / Hydraulic opening
Antes de conectar los mandos hidráulicos al distribuidor del tractor asegurarse de que los
circuitos no se encuentran bajo presión, accionando las levas del distribuidor en ambos
sentidos, siempre con el motor apagado. Controlar después de cada uso de la máquina
que los tubos hidráulicos se encuentran en perfecto estado, no han sido partidos ni
quemados, en tal caso sustituirlos por otros facilitados por el constructor
Before connecting the hydraulic opening to the tractor, be sure that the circuits are not
under pressure, starting up the levies in both directions, always with the motor stopped.
After each use of the machine control that the hydraulic tubes are in good shape, they
have not been started off nor burned.
Conectar los tubos hidráulicos al tractor después de haber verificado que todos los
enganches están limpios y en un estado óptimo de conservación. Revisar el estado de
deterioro de los tubos hidráulicos. En caso de deterioro o como máximo a los 6 años,
proceder a su sustitución. Los tubos hidráulicos desconectados del tractor deben ser
sujetos a los soportes adecuados previstos para dicha finalidad. El mando hidráulico
acciona la apertura y el cierre de las salidas situadas en el interior de la tolva. Antes de
cargar el abono en la tolva es necesario dar presión a la instalación, de manera que las
salidas queden totalmente cerradas. Para abrir las salidas durante la distribución
disminuir la presión a la instalación hidráulica.
Connect hydraulic hoses to the tractor after verifying that all hooks are clean and in
optimum condition. Check the status of deterioration of hydraulic tubes. In case of
damage or a maximum of 6 years, replace them. The disconnected tubes from the
tractor must be hold to the suitable supports. For loading the fertilizer increase the
pressure and be sure that every exit is completely close and for working reduce the
pressure.

4. Regulación / Adjustment
La tabla de dosificación contiene valores orientativos que indican la cantidad de abono a
distribuir en el campo. Estos valores dependen de la velocidad del tractor, de la
granulometría y humedad del fertilizante y de la forma del terreno. La única manera de
obtener una dosificación exacta en cada caso es mediante los pasos indicados en el
siguiente ejemplo.
The dosage table contains illustrative values that indicate the amount of fertilizer to be
distributed on the field. These values depend on the speed of the tractor, the
granulometry and humidity of the fertilizer and shape of the field. The only way to obtain
an exact dosage in each case is through the steps of the following example.
Ejemplo / Example: 250 kg/ha:
a. 250 kg/ha= 250.000 g / 24.000 m2 = 10,41 g / m2.
b. Si el tractor trabaja a 6 km / h = 6.000 m en 60 minutos = 100 m en 1 minuto.
If tractor works at 6 km / h = 6.000 m in 60 minutes = 100 m in 1 minute.
c. Elegimos el ancho de trabajo, por ejemplo, 8 metros.
We choose the work width, for example, 8 meters.
d. Sabemos que en 1 minuto abonamos un área de 8 x 100 = 800 m2, ahora 800 x
10, 41 g son 8.328 g = 8,32 kg por minuto.
In 1 minute we can fertilize 8 x 100 = 800 m2, this means 800 x 10, 41 g =
8.328 g = 8,32 kg per minute.
e. Con este resultado podemos regular la abonadora de la siguiente manera:
We can adjust the fertilizer spreader with this result like following:
Desmonte el péndulo / Dismount the pendulum spout.
Coloque un recipiente en la salida / Put a container at the outlet.
Elija un índice de apertura y haga trabajar la máquina a 540 r.p.m.
Choose an opening index and work with the machine at 540 r.p.m.
Pese la cantidad de abono obtenida en 1 minuto.
Weight the fertilizer amount in 1 minute.
Experimente con distintos índices de apertura y anote los distintos
pesos obtenidos para futuras aplicaciones.
Experiment with different opening indexes and note the different
weights obtained for future applications.

4.2. Conexión de la trasmisión / Pto.Shaft Connection
Eleve la abonadora pendular hasta que la trasmisión alcance la altura del eje de conexión
al tractor (1). Una parte de la trasmisión ha de ser conectada al tractor y la otra parte a
la abonadora. Asegúrese de que ambos tubos están superpuestos entre sí, por lo menos
1 pulgada (2,54 cm) (3). Corte la protección de los tubos a la longitud correcta si la
trasmisión es demasiado larga y a continuación corte el perfil del tubo a la longitud
correcta (4) y (5). Es importante que el ángulo de movimiento de la trasmisión nunca
exceda los 30º.
Lift the Spreader until the PTO shafts reaches the height of the shaft connection of the
tractor (1). Half of the PTO shaft has to be connected to the Spreader and the other half
to the tractor, holding them side by side (2). Be sure that both tubes overlap each other
by at least 1 inch. (3). Cut the guard tubes to the correct length if the shaft is too long
and then cut the profile tubes to the correct length (4) and (5). It is important that the
angle of the moving PTO shaft must never exceed 30º.
4.3. Distribución homogénea / Homogeneus distribution
La manera más eficaz para que la distribución del abono en el campo sea homogénea y
no se produzca una mayor concentración en la parte central es que el tractor haga el
recorrido de vuelta lo más pegado posible a la parte abonada tal y como se muestra en
los dibujos.
When distributing fertilizers or seed a greater concentration of product will be found in
the center and a lighter spread will occur in the edge of the pattern (1) and (2). In even
to obtain a more even spread, you must compensate across the edges of the pattern.
The most effective way is to drive the tractor, on the return trip, as close as possible to
the outer edge of the previous pattern (3) and (4).

5. Mantenimiento / Maintenance
5.1. Lubricación / Greasing
Engrasar cada 20 horas de trabajo todos los elementos en movimiento de la máquina.
Lubricate every 20 hours of work all moving elements of the machine.
5.2. Sustitución del tubo pendular / Pendulum spout replacement
En caso de rotura o daños en el tubo pendular es necesario proceder a su inmediata
sustitución. Insertar la brida de amarre, en el tubo pendular (A), insertar los tornillos de
sujeción de la misma (B), proceder a su fijación. (C).
In case of breaking of the pendulum spout, it is necessary to replace it with a new one.
Insert the flange into the pendulum spout (A), insert its fastening screws (B) and attach
it with two keys (C).

Los elementos de fijación (tornillos y tuercas) deben ser del mismo tipo que los indicados
por el fabricante.
Screws and nuts must be of the same type like the manufacturer.
