Using the product
MicroSD memory card
Ensurethattheproductisturnedoffbefore
insertingthememorycard.
Ifthememorycardisremovedorinserted
whiletheproductisturnedon,thestoreddata
maybelostortheproductmaymalfunction.
Removetheprotectivelm
from the camera lens
Removetheprotectivelmfromthefront
cameralensbeforeinstallingandusingthe
product.
Mounting/Removing the
Front Camera
Thefrontcameracanbemountedorremoved
by simultaneously pressing the buttons on
bothsidesofthecradleatthesametime.
Whenconnectingtheproductandthecradle,
rstcombinethegrooveatthebottomofthe
cradlewiththeproduct,andthencompletely
assembletheproductandthecradle.
Removingthefrontcameraalsodisablesthe
rearcamera(optional).

Be sure to install and remove the

media may be lost or the product may
malfunction.
Turning the product on
Driving mode starts when the vehicle is
started,andtheproductandtheACE3.0app
canbeconnected.
Formoreinformation,refertothe
instruction manual provided with the
vehicle.
Turning the product on/off
manually
■Whentheengineisrunning,orwhenyou
aregettingofthevehicle,brieypressthe
powerbuttontoturnontheproduct.
■Pressandholdthepowerbuttonfor
3 secondstoturnofftheproduct.
Resetting the product
Press and hold both the power ( ) button
and the record ( ) button together on the
topoftheproducttofactoryresettheproduct.

Using the product
features
ACE3.0recordsvideoswhilethevehicleisin
operation.
Whenyoustartthevehicleandstartdriving,
the product can check any damage caused by
accidentsthatoccurredinthefrontandrear
(rearcameraisoptional)areasofthevehicle
whileitwasindrivingmodeandfromany
accidents that occurred while the vehicle was
parkedandusingparkingmode.
Driving mode
Whenyoustartthevehicle,thestatusLED
will turn on with a voice prompt and driving
modewillstart.
Drivingrecording:Whiledriving,videosare
recorded in 1 minute segments and stored in
the"DRIVING"folder.
Incidentrecording:Whenanimpacttothe
vehicleisdetected,thevideorecordfrom
10 secondsbeforetheincidentto50seconds
aftertheincidentisstoredinthe"INCIDENT"
folder.
• You can choose between the two
drivingmodes.
• Besuretocheckifthelawsand
regulationsofthecountryallow
continuous video recording in driving
mode.
Parking mode
Whentheengineisturnedoffandtheset
timefortheproduct'sexitphaseelapses,the
product automatically switches to the parking
mode.
Whenanimpactisdetectedwhileparking,
avideorecordfrom10secondsbeforethe
impactto20secondsaftertheimpactis
savedinthe"PARKING"folder.
*Exitphasereferstotheassumedamountof
timeforthedrivertoleavethevehicleafter
theengineisturnedoff.
Videosofimpactsrecordedwithinthis
timeframedonotadduptothenumberof
incidentswhileparked,whichisreportedby
theproductortheACE3.0App.
**Videosofimpactsthatarerecordedduring
entry phase do not add up to the number
ofincidentswhileparked,sincethedriver
is considered to be inside the vehicle in the
momentofrecording.
• Besuretoregularlycheckifthe
lawsandregulationsofthecountry
allowusingtheparkingmode.
• IftheACE3.0appandtheproduct
areconnectedduringtheexit
phase,theparkingmodewillnotbe
initiated as the driver is considered
tobestayinginsidethevehicle.
Manual recording (REC)
You can manually record/take videos and
pictures.
Press the record ( )buttononthefront
camera to start recording and save it in the
"SNAPSHOT"folder.

HDR(High Dynamic Range)
Youcanrecordthevideowiththefront
camerainhighqualitybysettingtheHDR
(HighDynamicRange)feature.
TheHDRfeatureprovidesaclearscreen
thatlooksjustlikeyouwereseeingitwith
yourowneyesbyextendingvideo'scontrast
ratio,renderingtheobjectsonthevideomore
distinguishable.
Night Vision
WiththeSuperNightVisionfeature,youcan
record videos that are much brighter than
videosrecordedwithoutthisfeature.This
featureisenabledbyreal-timeimagesignal
processing (ISP) that improves the brightness
ofvideosrecordedwhileparkedatnight.
GPS
TheGPSfeatureisnotapprovedinsome
countriesforlegalreasons,sothefeature
may be restricted or unavailable in certain
countries.
Checkthelawsandregulationsofyour
countrybeforeusingtheproductfortherst
time.

Vehicle location
Youcanndyourparkedvehicleeasilyby
usingtheACE3.0app.Whentheproduct
switches to parking mode while connected
totheACE3.0app,thepicturesandvideos
takenbythefrontandrearcamera(optional)
aresavedintheACE3.0app,andthe
locationofthevehicleisdisplayedonadigital
map(mayvaryaccordingtonationallaw).
Tousethisfeature,theGPSsignalofthe
product must be activated when switching to
theparkingmode.Thisfeatureallowsyouto
ndyourvehicleintheparkinglotusingthe
picturestakenbythefrontandrearcamera,
orlocateyourvehicleinthemidstofabusy
cityusingthedigitalmap.
Youcanalsostartthefeaturebypressingthe
updatebuttonontheproduct.
Picturestakenbythefrontandrear
camera (optional) and the location on
themap(iftheGPSfeatureisturned
on)willbesavedintheACE3.0app
untilyouusethisfeatureagain.
Using voice
recognition
Youcanusevoicerecognitiontoperform
9 commands in 5 languages(English,
German,Korean,Chinese,Japanese).
• The voice recognition can be turned
onoroffintheACE3.0app

Using the ACE
3.0 app
YoucanusetheACE3.0apponyour
smartphone to play and manage recorded
videosandusetheproduct'svariousfeatures.
Download and install the ACE 3.0appfrom
theGooglePlayStoreorAppleAppStore.
Do not operate the product while
driving.Distractionwhiledrivingmay
causeaccidentsandresultininjuryor
death.
Turnyoursmartphone'sBluetoothonand
connect the product to your smartphone by
followingtheACE3.0app'sinstructions.
You can only connect one smartphone
totheproduct.Iftheproductdoesnot
connecttoyoursmartphone,checkif
the product is already connected with
anothersmartphone.
Ifyouusethepowersavingmodeoncertain
smartphones,theconnectionbetweenthe
productandthesmartphonemaybelost.
Aftertheproductandyoursmartphone
areconnected,thelanguagesetonthe
smartphonewillbeappliedtotheACE3.0
app.
The connection between the product and the
smartphone is maintained while operating
theproductusingtheACE3.0app.
Whenthereisanewversionofthermware,
theACE3.0appwillimmediatelynotifyyou
oftheupdate.
• Follow the instructions in the
ACE3.0appbeforeupdatingthe
rmware.
• Updatingthermwaremay
automaticallyformatthememory
card.Backupthedatastoredonthe
memorycardbeforeupdating.
• The customized settings are
maintainedevenafterthermware
update.

Recording settings
Driving mode
■Driving mode:SelecteitherContinuous
recording or G-Sensor only to be used in
Drivingmode.
When changing the mode to Incident
recordingonly,thememorycanbe
formattedaccordingtothesetmemory
partition.
■G-Sensor Sensitivity:Selectthedesired
drivingincidentsensitivity.
■Enter phase:Setthetimeduringwhich
vibrations detected while getting into the
vehiclearenotrecognizedasevents.
■Exit phase:Setthetimeperiodduring
which vibrations that are detected when
gettingoutofthevehiclearenotrecognized
asevents.
Parking mode
■Parking Mode:SelectDisable when not
usingparkingmode.
■G-Sensor Sensitivity:Selectthedesired
parkingincidentsensitivity.
Volume settings
■Beep:Settheproduct'sdefaultvolume.
■Voice guidance:Setthevolumeforvoice
guidance.
■Video:Setthevideoplaybackvolume.

■SD Format:TouchOKonthememory

memorycard.

Wi-Fi frequency
• TheAdvancedCarEye3.0(Pro)
device uses a 5 GHz band to connect
tothesmartphone.Itprovides
transmissionratesfasterthan
2.4GHzbands.
• Iftheapplicablebandisnot
supported by the smartphone or the
areaitisbeingusedin,connectionis
notpossible,sotheWi-Fifrequency
willchangeto2.4GHz.
Viewing the saved
data
Checking videos/pictures
All recorded media data are saved in each
folderonthememorycard.
Youcanmovethemediadatafromthe
memory card to your computer or copy it to
theACE3.0app.
