Installation!Instructions!for!BoardBrake!

1. Lay&your&board,&deck&down/wheels&up,&on&a&flat&surface&
!
2. 2.&Place&BoardBrake&such&that&the&BrakePad&is&
about&1/4”&(6.35mm)&from&the&REAR&truck.&(Fig.&A)!

3. Mark&where&the&REAR&of&the&spacer&touches&the&
deck.&(Fig.&B)&

!
4. Remove&the&BoardBrake&and&make&a&mark&3/8”&
(9.53mm)&FORWARD&of&the&spacer&mark.&(Fig.&C)&
!
!
5. Center&this&point&on&the&deck.&
!
6. Drill&a&3/4”&(19.05mm)&hole.&
!
7. Place&the&BoardBrake&back&on&your&board&and&center&it.&Align&the&REAR&of&the&spacer&with&the&REAR&of&the&
3/4”&brake&pedal&hole.&(When&the&stainless&steel&springplate&is&firmly&secured&to&the&deck&it&will&push&the&
BoardBrake&back&a&little&so&the&brake&pedal&hole&in&the&spacer&will&be&centered&over&the&brake&pedal&hole&in&
the&deck.)&

8. Mark&the&three&holes&at&the&front&of&the&brake&and&
drill&out&with&a&3/16”&(4.76mm)&bit.&(Fig.&D)&

9. Flip&board&over&and&countersink&the&holes&so&the&screws&will&be&flush&with&the&top&of&the&deck.&Attach&the&
BoardBrake.&
10. &Place&the&rubber&fender&washer&*&between&the&
spacer&and&the&underdeck.&(Fig.&E)&

11. &Screw&in&the&BoardBrake&pedal.(Fig.&F)&

12. Put&on&your&safety&gear&and&go&for&a&test&ride!&Take&it&easy&until&you&get&used&to&the&pedal&and&the&brake&
action.&ALSO&remember&that&the&BoardBrake&hangs&below&the&deck&and&can&catch&up&on&such&things&as&
speedbumps&etc&

Washers&can&be&added&to&'lengthen'&the&spacer&if&your&deck&is&high&off&the&pavement.&
