Use the childproofing feature in order
to prevent children from switching on
the cooktop or changing the settings
when they are unattended.
Burn hazard!
Do not store any objects that could
be of interest to children in storage
spaces above or behind the cooktop.
Otherwise, the children will be tempted
to climb onto the device.
Risk of burns and scalding!
Make sure that children are not able
able to pull down hot pots or pans from
the cooktop. Turn the pot and pan
handles to the side and over the work
surface in order to avoid any risk of
burning and scalding!
A special stove guard for children
(available in specialist shops) reduces
the
danger.
All users are responsible for the
maintenance and proper use of the
device in their household.
Installation
Heavy load when taking out and
installing the device. Personal injuries
may occur. Make sure that the device
is lifted out of the packaging by two
persons.
Check the device for visible
damages before installing it. A
damaged device must by no means be
put into operation. A damaged device
may put your safety at risk!
Only use the device when it is
mounted in order to ensure its safe
functioning.
The device may only be connected
to the mains by a specialist electrician
who knows the country-specific
regulations and additional regulations
stipulated by the local power supply
companies in detail and observes them
carefully.
The electrical safety of the device is
only guaranteed if it is connected to a
properly installed protective conductor
system. It is very important that this
basic safety measure has been taken.
When connecting the device, a setup
has to be established, which allows to
disconnect all of the device's poles
from the mains with a contact opening
width of at least 3 mm
. Circuit
breakers, fuses, safety cut-outs and
contactors are considered to be
suitable disconnectors.

The connecting cable must not be
connected to hot hobs. Make sure that
the cable is not clamped or damaged.

put into operation via plug-in contacts,

Repair and maintenance work may
only be carried out by specialists

the manufacturer shall not assume any
liability for.
Defective parts may only be replaced
with original parts supplied by BORA.
Only this way, it is guaranteed that the
parts comply with the safety
requirements.
