Zweckbestimmung:
bosolux auris Otoskope sind zur Untersuchung des äußeren Gehörgangs bestimmt.
Darüber hinaus kann das Instrument für andere Beleuchtungszwecke bei der nicht-
invasiven Untersuchung verwendet werden.

Warnhinweis
Die Untersuchung darf nur mit angebrachtem Ohrtrichter erfolgen. NIEMALS
ohne Ohrtrichter verwenden.
Während der Anwendung darf der Ohrtrichter nicht länger als 1 Minute im Ohr (Haut-
kontakt) verweilen. Der Druckaufbau beim pneumatischen Test muss sehr vorsichtig
erfolgen (Gefahr von Überdruck und dadurch entstehende Schäden).
Verwenden Sie die Otoskope nur mit boso Ersatzteile und Zubehör.
Mit dem Otoskop darf nicht in die Augen geleuchtet werden.
Achten Sie darauf, dass der Schlitz zur Befestigung der Ohrtrichter scharfkantig ist.

Anwendung:
Anbringen der Ohrtrichter:
bosolux auris Otoskope dürfen nur mit angebrachten
Ohrtrichter in den Gehörgang eingeführt werden.
Der Ohrtrichter ist mit dem Verschlusspin durch leichtes
Drehen im Uhrzeigersinn über den Schlitz an der Otos-
kopspitze (1) zu befestigen.
Die Vergrößerungslupe im Blickfeld erzielt eine 3-fache
Vergrößerung. Die Lupe kann zum Instrumentieren im
Uhrzeigersinn bis zum Anschlag geschwenkt werden.
Anwendung pneumatischer Test:
Das bosolux auris Otoskop hat eine Anschlussmög-
lichkeit für den Gummiball mit Schlauch zum pneuma-
tischen Test (4).
Reinigung:
Reinigung mit einem weichen und fusselfreien Tuch, bei Bedarf mit etwas Alkohol ange-
feuchtet. Das Otoskop darf nicht in Flüssigkeit eingetaucht werden.
Ohrtrichter dürfen nur einmal angewendet werden.
Eine Aufbereitung kann zu Schäden am Ohrtrichter
führen.
Sterilisation:
Es ist keine Sterilisation zugelassen.
Entsorgung:
Das Produkt muss einer getrennten Sammlung von
Elektro- und Elektronikgeräten zugeführt werden.
Lager-/Transportbedingungen und Betriebsbedingungen:
Umgebungstemperatur zwischen -10° und +45°C.
Rel. Luftfeuchtigkeit zwischen 30% und 90%.
Energieversorgung:
• 2 Alkali-Zellen (AAA/LR03)
Einschalten:
Druckschalter (2) einmal drücken.
Helligkeit regeln:
Helligkeit nach oben regeln: Druckschalter (2) im einge-
schalteten Modus gedrückt halten. Bei gewünschter Hel-
ligkeit loslassen.
Helligkeit nach unten regeln: Druckschalter (2) erneut ge-
drückt halten. Bei gewünschter Helligkeit loslassen.

Ausschalten:
Wenn das Instrument in Betrieb ist Druckschalter (2) einmal drücken.
Zusätzlich verfügt das Otoskop über eine Abschaltautomatik. Diese erfolgt nach 3 Mi-
nuten.
Batteriewechsel:
Schrauben Sie den Batteriedeckel (3) ab und entnehmen Sie die Batterien.
Setzen Sie neue Batterien (AAA/LR03) mit dem Pluspol zum Instrumentenkopf ein.
Anschließend Batteriedeckel wieder aufschrauben. Nehmen Sie einen Batteriewechsel
nicht in Patientennähe vor.

Warnhinweise
1. Achten Sie bei der Reinigung / Desinfektion von Geräten mit Patientenkontakt auf
entsprechende Reinigungs- / Desinfektionsmittel.
2. Achten Sie auf persönliche Schutzausrüstung und befolgen Sie alle Sicherheitsvor-
schriften / Warnhinweise.
3. Entfernen Sie vor der Reinigung / Desinfektion stets die Batterien. Achten Sie darauf,
dass keine Flüssigkeit ins Gehäuse dringt.
4. Die Benutzung von Zubehörteilen, die nicht in der Gebrauchsanweisung aufgeführt
sind, kann die Sicherheit vermindern.
5. Während der Anwendung können Metallkomponenten in der Nähe vom Instrumen-
tenkopf warm werden. Dies gilt insbesondere, wenn das Gerät über einen längeren
Zeitraum angeschaltet ist. Das Gerät bitte nach Gebrauch ausschalten.
6. Otoskope während der Benutzung am Patienten nicht warten.
7. Achten Sie auf alle wesentlichen Risiken wechselseitiger Störung, die sich bei An-
wendung der Otoskope bei speziellen Untersuchungen oder Behandlungen ergeben
können.
8. Um elektromagnetische Störungen zwischen dem Otoskop und anderen Geräten zu
vermeiden bzw. minimieren, beachten Sie bitte die Hinweise der anderen Geräte.
9. Es ist eine normale Situation, dass das Produkt aus dem Standby-Zustand auf den
Arbeitsmodus durch eine elektrostatische Störung wechseln kann. Solange das manu-
elle oder automatische Ausschalten nach 3 Minuten möglich ist kann es wieder in den
Standby versetzt werden.
10. Sollte der Patient während der Untersuchung eine Erwärmung an den Kontaktstellen
verspüren, muss die Diagnose vorübergehend gestoppt und das Otoskop zur Ausküh-
lung ausgeschaltet werden.

11. Kontraindikationen:
- vermeiden Sie direkten Kontakt mit der Schleimhaut oder verletzten Haut.
- leuchten Sie nicht in die Augen.

Für dieses Produkt leisten wir 2 Jahre Werksgarantie ab Kaufdatum. Das Kaufdatum
ist durch Rechnung nachzuweisen. Innerhalb der Garantiezeit werden Mängel infolge
von Material- oder Fertigungsfehlern kostenlos beseitigt. Durch die Garantieleistung tritt
keine Verlängerung der Garantiezeit auf das ganze Gerät ein, sondern nur auf die aus-
gewechselten Bauteile.
Von der Garantieleistung ausgenommen ist die Abnutzung durch Verschleiß, Transport-
schäden sowie alle
Schäden, die durch unsachgemäße Behandlung (z.B. Nichtbeachtung der Gebrauchs-
anweisung)
entstanden sind oder auf Eingriff e von Unbefugten zurückzuführen sind. Durch die Ga-

Before using the bosolux auris and its accessories please read these instructions
carefully and store them safely for future reference.
bosolux auris
Intended purpose:
bosolux auris otoscopes are designed for the examination of the exterior auditory canal.
In addition, the instrument can be used for other illumination purposes in non-invasive
examinations.

Warning:
The examination may only be performed with the ear specula attached. NEVER
use without the ear specula.
The ear specula must not remain in the ear (skin contact) for more than 1 minute. The
pressure build-up during the pneumatic test must be carried out very carefully (risk of
overpressure and resulting damage).
Use the otoscope only with boso spare parts and accessories.
The otoscope must not be shone into the eyes.
Make sure that the slot for attaching the ear specula (1) is sharp-edged and not worn.

Application:
Attaching the ear specula:
The bosolux auris otoscope may only be introduced to
the ear canal with the ear specula attached.
The ear specula is attached to the otoscope tip by bayo-
net mount, by lightly twisting clockwise to engage with
the slit !1).
The magnifying lens in the view fi eld achieves up to 3x
magnifi cation. The viewing lens can be turned clockwise
to the limit for instrumentation.
Using the pneumatic test:
The bosolux auris otoscope has a connection option for
a rubber bulb with tube for a pneumatic test (4).
Cleaning:
Clean with a soft and lint-free cloth, moistened with a little alcohol if necessary. Do not
dip the otoscope in liquid.
Ear specula are single use only. Re-use of single use
items may cause damage to the ear specula.
Sterilization:
Sterilization is not approved.
Disposal:
The product must be disposed of at a separate coll-
ection of electrical and electronic equipment.
Storage/transport conditions and operating condi-
tions:
Ambient temperature between -10° and +45°C.
Rel. humidity between 30% and 90%.
Power supply:
• 2 alkaline cells (AAA/LR03)
Switching on:
Press the push button (2) once.
Adjust luminosity:
Increase luminosity: While power is on press and hold the
push button (2) until the desired luminosity is reached.
Decrease luminosity: Press and hold the push button (2)
again until the desired luminosity is reached.

Powering off :
If the instrument is in operation press push button (2) once.
The otoscope also has an automatic switch-off function after 3 minutes.
Changing the batteries:
Unscrew the battery cover (3) and remove the batteries.
Insert new batteries (AAA/LR03) with the positive ‘+’ pole to the instrument head. Then
screw on the battery cover again. Do not change the battery when near the patient.

Warnings
1. When cleaning / disinfecting devices that have come into contact with patients, make
sure that appropriate detergents / disinfectants are used.
2. Make sure appropriate personal protective equipment and clothing is used, and follow
all safety regulations / warnings.
3. Always remove the batteries before cleaning / disinfection. Make sure that no liquid
penetrates into the housing.
4. The use of accessories not listed in the Instructions for Use may compromise safety.
5. During use, metal components near the instrument head may heat up. This occurs in
particular if the device is switched on for an extended period of time. Do not leave the
unit on when it is not in use.
6. Do not attempt to service the otoscope while using it on the patient.
7. Pay attention to all signifi cant risks of reciprocal disturbance which may arise when
using the otoscope during special examinations or treatments.
8. To avoid or minimize electromagnetic interference between the otoscope and other
devices, please observe the instructions of the other devices.
9. It is not unusual for the product to change from standby to operating mode due to
electrostatic interference. As long manual switch-off or automatic switch-off occurs after
3 minutes, it can return to standby mode.
10. If the patient experiences a sensation of heat at the contact points during the exa-
mination, the diagnosis must be temporarily stopped and the otoscope switched off for
cooling.
11. Contraindications:
- Avoid direct contact with mucous membranes or injured skin.
- Do not shine into the eyes.

Warranty Terms
This product is covered by a 2 year factory warranty from date of purchase. The
purchase date is to be verifi ed by presenting the invoice. Within the warranty period, de-
fects resulting from material or manufacturing defects shall be remedied free of charge.
The warranty does not extend the warranty period for the entire device, but only for the
replaced components.
The warranty does not include wear and tear, transport damage and any damage
that arises due to improper handling (e.g. failure to observe the Instructions for Use)
or due to handling by unauthorized persons. No claims for damages against us are
justifi ed by the guarantee.
The purchaser’s statutory claims due to defects under Section 437 of the German Civil
Code BGB are not restricted.
In the event of a warranty claim, the device must be sent, together with the original proof

Destination :
Les otoscopes bosolux auris sont conçus pour l’examen du conduit auditif externe. Ils
peuvent être par ailleurs utilisés à d’autres fi ns d’éclairage pour l’examen non-invasif.

Avertissement :
N’eff ectuer l’examen qu’avec spéculum monté. NE JAMAIS utiliser cet instrument
sans spéculum.
Pendant l’application, le spéculum ne doit pas rester plus d’une minute dans l’oreille
(contact avec la peau). Au cours du test pneumatique, augmenter la pression avec la
plus grande prudence (risque de surpression et donc de lésions).
Utilisez les otoscopes uniquement avec des pièces de rechange et accessoires boso.
Ne jamais pointer l’otoscope dans les yeux.
Veillez à ce que les bords aigus de la fente permettant de fi xer le spéculum soit intacts.

Application :
Monter le spéculum :
Avant d’introduire l’otoscope bosolux auris dans le con-
duit auditif, il faut monter le spéculum.
Fixer le spéculum, doté de crans de verrouillage, sur
l’otoscope en le tournant légèrement dans le sens ho-
raire dans la fente (1).
La lentille dans le champ de vision permet d’obtenir un
grossissement d’environ x 3. Pour l’intervention avec
grossissement, la lentille peut être pivotée jusqu’à une
butée dans le sens des aiguilles d’une montre.
Application test pneumatique
L’otoscope bosolux auris est doté d’un raccord (4) pour
la poire en caoutchouc avec fl exible pour le test pneumatique.
Nettoyage :
Nettoyer avec un chiff on doux non pelucheux, imprégné légèrement d’alcool si néces-
saire. Défense d’immerger l’otoscope dans un liquide.
N’utiliser le spéculum qu’une seule fois. Tout traite-
ment est susceptible d’endommager le spéculum.
Stérilisation :
Stérilisation non autorisée.
Mise au rebut :
Le produit doit être éliminé par une collecte séparée
des Déchets d’Équipements Électriques et Électro-
niques.
Stockage, transport et conditions de service :
Température ambiante entre -10 et +45 °C.
Humidité relative de l’air entre 30 et 90 %.
Alimentation électrique :
• 2 piles alcalines (AAA/LR03)
Mettre en service :
Appuyer une fois sur le bouton poussoir (2).
Régler la luminosité :
Augmenter la luminosité : maintenir enclenché le bouton
poussoir (2) en mode Marche. Relâcher après avoir atteint
la luminosité souhaitée.
Baisser la luminosité : maintenir enclenché le bouton
poussoir (2) une nouvelle fois. Relâcher après avoir atteint

la luminosité souhaitée.
Mettre hors service :
Instrument en service, appuyer une fois sur le bouton poussoir (2).
L’otoscope est en outre équipé d’une mise hors service automatique, déclenchée après
3 minutes.
Remplacer les piles :
Dévissez le couvercle du compartiment (3) et enlevez les piles.
Insérer les nouvelles piles (AAA/LR03), pôle positif vers la tête de l’instrument. Revisser
ensuite le couvercle du compartiment. Ne changez pas les piles à proximité du patient.

Avertissements
1. Au moment de nettoyer / de désinfecter les dispositifs en contact avec les patients,
veillez à utiliser les détergents / désinfectants correspondants.
2. Veillez à porter un équipement de protection individuelle et observez toutes les con-
signes de sécurité / tous les avertissements.
3. Avant le nettoyage / la désinfection, enlevez toujours les piles. Veillez à ce qu’aucun
liquide ne pénètre à l’intérieur du boîtier.
4. L’utilisation d’accessoires, qui ne sont pas cités dans le présent mode d’emploi, est
susceptible de compromettre la sécurité.
5. Pendant l’application, les composants métalliques à proximité de la tête de l’instrument
peuvent chauff er, ce qui est notamment valable si le dispositif est en service pendant
une période prolongée. Mettez hors service le dispositif inutilisé.
6. Ne pas eff ectuer la maintenance de l’otoscope pendant l’utilisation sur le patient.
7. Veillez à tous les risques essentiels liés à une interférence réciproque en cas
d’utilisation de l’otoscope durant des examens ou des traitements spécifi ques.
8. Afi n d’éviter ou de minimiser toute interférence électromagnétique entre l’otoscope et
d’autres dispositifs, veuillez respecter les consignes des autres dispositifs.
9. Il est probable que le dispositif passe du mode Veille en mode de fonctionnement
suite à une interférence électromagnétique. Tant que la mise hors service (manuelle ou
automatique après 3 minutes) peut être activée, il est possible de le remettre en mode
Veille.
10. Si, pendant l’examen, le patient a une sensation de chaleur au niveau des points de
contact, il faut interrompre provisoirement le diagnostic et mettre l’otoscope hors service
pour le refroidir.

11. Contre-indications :
- Éviter le contact direct avec les muqueuses ou l’épiderme blessé ;
- Ne pas éclairer dans les yeux.

Ce produit est garanti 2 [deux] ans à compter de la date d’achat, la facture faisant foi.
Durant la période de garantie, les vices de matériau ou de fabrication seront éliminés
gratuitement. La mise en œuvre de la garantie n’entraîne aucune prolongation de la
garantie sur l’ensemble du dispositif mais uniquement sur les composants remplacés.
Sont exclus de la garantie la dégradation suite à l’usure, les dommages liés au trans-
port, ainsi que tous les
dommages dus à une manipulation non conforme (par ex. non-respect du présent mode

ou à l’intervention de personnes non autorisées. La garantie ne justifi e aucune demande

Utilizzo previsto:
Gli otoscopi bosolux auris sono destinati all‘esame del condotto uditivo esterno. Inoltre
lo strumento può essere utilizzato per altri fi ni di illuminazione nel corso di esami non
invasivi.

Avvertenze:
La visita può essere svolta solo con uno speculum auricolare inserito. Non utiliz-
zare MAI senza speculum auricolare.
Durante l‘utilizzo, lo speculum auricolare non può restare nell‘orecchio (a contatto con
la pelle) per più di 1 minuto. La pressurizzazione nel corso del test pneumatico deve
avvenire con molta cautela (pericolo di sovrapressione e di danni conseguenti).
Utilizzare l‘otoscopio solo con le parti di ricambio e gli accessori boso.
Non indirizzare la luce dell‘otoscopio verso gli occhi.
Attenzione: la scanalatura per il fi ssaggio dello speculum auricolare ha i bordi taglienti.

Utilizzo:
Fissaggio degli speculum auricolari:
Gli otoscopi bosolux auris possono essere introdotti nel
condotto uditivo solo con gli speculum auricolari appli-
cati.
Lo speculum auricolare deve essere fi ssato sulla scana-
latura sulla punta dell‘otoscopio (1) con il perno di chi-
usura, facendolo ruotare delicatamente in senso orario.
La lente d‘ingrandimento consente un ingrandimento nel
campo visivo di 3 volte. La lente può essere regolata
ruotandola in senso orario fi no al punto d‘arresto.
Utilizzo del test pneumatico:
L‘otoscopio bosolux auris può essere collegato
all‘insuffl atore a palla per il test pneumatico (4).
Pulizia:
Pulire con un panno morbido e senza lanugine, eventualmente inumidito con alcol.
L‘otoscopio non deve essere immerso in un liquido.
Gli speculum auricolari possono essere utilizzati solo
una volta. Una disinfezione può danneggiare lo spe-
culum auricolare.
Sterilizzazione:
Non è consentita alcuna sterilizzazione.
Smaltimento:
Il prodotto deve essere conferito nella raccolta diff e-
renziata di dispositivi elettrici ed elettronici.
Condizioni di trasporto, immagazzinaggio e funzionamento:
Temperatura dell‘ambiente compresa tra -10° e +45°C.
Umidità relativa dell‘aria compresa tra 30% e 90%.

• 2 pile alcaline (AAA/LR03)
Accensione:
Premere una volta l‘interruttore (2).
Regolazione della luminosità:
Aumentare la luminosità: tenere premuto l‘interruttore (2)
in modalità attiva. Rilasciare una volta raggiunta la lumino-
sità desiderata.

Spegnimento:
Quando lo strumento è attivo, premere una volta l‘interruttore (2).
Inoltre l‘otoscopio è dotato di un sistema di spegnimento automatico dopo 3 minuti.
Cambio delle batterie:
Svitare il coperchio del vano batterie (3) e togliere le pile.
Inserire le nuove batterie (AAA/LR03) con il polo positivo rivolto verso la testa dello stru-
mento. Infi ne avvitare nuovamente il coperchio del vano batterie. Evitare di cambiare le
pile in prossimità del paziente.

Avvertenze
1. Adottare, per la pulizia/disinfezione di dispositivi che vengono a contatto con i pazien-
ti, detergenti/disinfettanti adeguati.
2. Adottare il giusto equipaggiamento di protezione personale e rispettare tutte le dispo-
sizioni di sicurezza e le avvertenze.
3. Prima della pulizia/disinfezione, rimuovere sempre le batterie. Assicurarsi che nessun
liquido penetri nell‘alloggiamento.
4. L‘utilizzo di accessori non elencati nelle istruzioni per l‘uso può diminuire la sicurezza.
5. Durante l‘utilizzo, le componenti in metallo in prossimità della testa dello strumento
possono riscaldarsi. Questo avviene in particolare quando il dispositivo resta acceso a
lungo. Non lasciare acceso il dispositivo quando non è in uso.
6. Non eseguire la manutenzione dell‘otoscopio durante l‘utilizzo su un paziente.
7. Prestare attenzione a tutti i possibili rischi di disturbo reciproco derivanti dall‘uso
dell‘otoscopio in occasione di esami o trattamenti speciali.
8. Per evitare o ridurre al minimo i disturbi elettromagnetici tra l‘otoscopio e altri disposi-
tivi, osservare le indicazioni relative agli altri dispositivi.
9. È normale che il prodotto in stand-by possa passare in modalità operativa a causa di
disturbi elettrostatici. Finché è possibile lo spegnimento manuale, o quello automatico
dopo 3 minuti, si può nuovamente impostare lo stand-by.
10. Se durante la visita il paziente dovesse percepire un riscaldamento dei punti di con-
tatto, la diagnosi dovrà essere provvisoriamente rimandata e l‘otoscopio dovrà essere
spento e fatto raff reddare.

11. Controindicazioni:
- evitare il contatto diretto con mucose o ferite.
- non indirizzare la luce verso gli occhi.
