Trouble Shooting
Before going throughthe check list,check wiring connection.If any ofthe problems persistafter check
list has beenmade, consult yournearest service dealer.

MOISTURE CONDENSATION
On a rainyday or ina very damp area, moisture may condense on the lenses inside the unit. Should this
occur, theunit will notoperate properly.In such a case, remove thedisc and wait for about anhour unit
the moisture hasevaporated.

Stickers that arebeginning
to peel away, leaving a
sticky residue(P.6).

residue can causethe CD tostop spinning and
may cause malfunctionor ruin yourdiscs.
Do not usesecond-hand or rentalCDs that have a
sticky residue on the surface (forexample, from
peeled-off stickers or from ink, or glue leaking
from under thestickers).
5. Do notuse solvents such as benzine,
thinner, commerciallyavailable cleaners, or
antistatic spray intendedfor analog discs.

Setting Mode Installation
DIN FRONT/REAR-MOUNT
Installation the unit

After insertingthe half sleeve into the
dashboard, select theappropriate tab according
to the thicknessof the dashboard material and
bend them inwardsto secure the holder in
place.

Be sure touse the support strap to secure the
back of theunit in place. The strap can be bent
by hand tthe desired angle.
This unit canbe property installedeither from " Front " (conventional DIN Front-mount)or " Rear " (DIN
Rear-mount installation, utilizingthreaded screw holesat the sidesof the unit chassis). For
details, refer tothe following illustratedinstallation methodsA and B.
DIN FRONT-MOUT(MethodA)
You can make changes to the system setting in the following area: Before finally installingthe unit, connectthe wiring temporarilyand make sure it is all connected up
properly and theunit and systemwork properly.
Use only theparts included withthe unit to ensure proper installation. The use ofunauthorized parts
can cause malfunctions.
Consult with yournearest dealer ifinstallation requires thedrilling of holes or other modifications of
the vehicle.
Install the unitwhere it doesnot get in the driver’s way andcan not injurethe passenger ifthere is a
sudden stop, likean emergency stop.
If installation angleexceeds 30 from horizontal, the unit might not giveits optimum performance.
Avoid installing theunit where it would be subject to high temperature, such as fromdirect sunlight,
or from hotair, fromheater, or where it would be subject to dust dirt or excessive vibration.
Be sure toremove the frontpanel before installing the unit.
Radio Frequency Range + Enable/Disable AUX In+ Clock Format
- Radio Settings
The unit can operate on several different frequency ranges. Please see
the following forthese ranges.
- AUX Input Enable/Disable
Press DOWNARROW to move between Enable and Disable modes.
When the selectionhas been made, press > tosave it and move to
next setting area or press ENTER to leave the System Setting mode.
- Clock Format(12-hour or 24-hour)
Press DOWNARROW to move between 12-hour or24-hour format,
press > tosave it and move to nextsetting area or press ENTER to
leave the System Setting mode.
Toenter setting mode, input the followingcommand by pressing remote
keys" 8, DOWN DIRECTION KEY, 9, ENTER "
To change the range to suit your location, press DOWN ARROW unit
the desired frequency range is hight lighted. The press > to save it and
move to next setting area.
The display willshow "TEST MOD " breifly to indicate you are in
system setting areaand then automatically change to RadioFrequency
selection mode. At anytime, you can press the > button to step through
the above areas. When you are ready to leave the System Setting area,
press ENTER. The unit will reboot to initialize with the new setting.

Setting the clock Detachable Control Panel (D.C.P)
Removing The Detachable Control Panel(D.C.P)
CAUTION
Socket
DO NOT insertthe D.C.P from the left side. Doing so many damage it.
The D.C.P caneasily be damaged by shocks. After removing it, place it in a protective case and be careful
not to dropit or subjectit to strongshocks.
When the releasebutton is pressedand the D.C.Pis unlocked, the car’s vibrations may cause it to fall. To
prevent damage tothe D.C.P, always store it in a protective case after detaching it.
The rear connectorthat connects themain unit andthe D.C.P isan extremely important part. Be careful not
to damage itby pressing onit with fingernails,screw drives, etc.
Attaching the D.C.P
Tochange the clock setting, press and hold the ENTERbutton (1).
The hour andminutes display will begin flashing.
Setting the time
Toadjust the time, press UP or Down DIRECTION KEY to set HOURS
and press LEFTor RIGHT DIRECTION KEY TO SET MINTUES. After
adjusting the time,press ENTER key or leave it for several seconds
to confirm.

2. Press theD.C.P.release button
3. Remove theD.C.P.
1. Attachthe panel atthe right side first, with
point B onthe main unit touching point A on
the D.C.P. (As shown on the digram.)
2. Then pressthe left side of D.C.P. onto the main
unit until a " click " sound is heard.
Note:
If the D.C.Pis dirty, wipe off thedirt with soft,
dry cloth only. Anduse a cotton swab soaked
in isopropyl alcoholto clean thesocket on the
back of theD.C.P.

Changing the battery in remote control
The remote is held one small " drawer "
on one edge of the remote. To open this
drawer, press and hold the small button
on the edge of this small drawer(as show)
and slide the drawer out.
Insert the new battery and push the drawer
back fully into the remote.
1.)VOLUME UP/DOWN KNOB(TURN)
AUDIO MODESELECTOR (PRESS)
In normal mode,use this knob to
increase/decrease the volumelevel.
Toaccess various soundparameters push
the button(like abutton) to cycle through the
following adjust ablesettings:
VOLUME > BASS> TREBLE >FADER
> BALANCE >USER SET
Use volume knobto increase/decrease
the setting ofVolume, Bass, Treble,
Balance and Fader
For User set,rotate the volume knob
cycle through andselect response curve
you wish:
FLAT, POPS, ROCK or CLASSIC.
Tosave setting, pressthe knob andmove
on next parameter. You can exit the
system by pressinguntil you return to VOL,
or simply donothing and the unit will return
to normal modeautomatically.

Press Power toturn on theunit.
Press and holdPower to turnoff the unit.
3.)MODE
Press the buttonrepeatedly to cyclethrough
the audio inputsources:

9.)AMS(Auto Memories Scan)
This is theeasiest way to set up the
preset station ineach radio will scan

8.)MO/ST In some areas,the reception of FM
stations may beweak. Change the reception
mode to MONOby pressing the button may
improve the reception.

9.)RADIO PRESET 1-6After you press the
stations via frontpanel, you can use this
buttons 1-6 toselect the preset stations.
10.)AMS(Auto Memories Scan)This is the
easiest way toset up the preset station
in each radioband. If you press AMS,
the radio willscan up all the strongest
station and presetautomatically.
Please note, allthe previous preset will
be lost.
11.)LOUNDESS Press to increasebass output.
Press again toturn off Loudnessfunction.
12.)BAND Press briefly,repeatedly to
cycle through fiveradio bands:
FM1 > FM2> FM3 > AM1 > AM2
