2.Positionthecouplerassemblyontopofbothbladessothatallthebushingsalignandthecentersection
hingebushingisinsertedbetweenthebladehingebushings.
3.Insertthecenterhingepinthroughthebushings.
4.Securethecenterusing1bolt(3/8-16x1inch)and1locknut(3/8inch).

1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,shutoffthe
engine,waitforallmovingpartstostop,engage
theparkingbrake,andremovethekeyfromthe
ignitionswitch.
2.Determinethemountinglocationforthe
controller.
3.Cleanthelocationwiththeprovidedalcohol
wipeanddryitwithaclothorpapertowel.
4.Cleanthebackoftheswivelmount(Figure5)
withthealcoholwipeandthendryit.

Important:Mountingthecontroller
immediatelymaycausetheadhesivetofail.
InstallingtheWireHarness

Vehicleenginescontainmovingpartsandcan
becomeextremelyhot,capableofcausing
severeburnsandseriousbodilyharm.
Shutofftheengineandallowitsufcienttime
tocooldownbeforeinstallingthiskit.
DANGER
Vehiclebatteriescancausedangerous
electricalshocksthatcouldleadtosevere
burnsordeath.
Disconnectyourbatterybeforeinstallingthis
kit.
Note:Applydielectricgreasetoallelectrical
connections.
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,shutoffthe
engine,waitforallmovingpartstostop,engage
theparkingbrake,andremovethekeyfromthe
ignitionswitch.
2.Mountthevehicle-side,wire-harnessplow
connectortotheleftsideofthefrontbumper
usingthecontrol-harnessmounting-bracketand
2capscrewsandself-lockingnuts(Figure6).
Note:Youwillhavetodrill2holesinthefront
bumpertomountthebracket.

replacethecable.

largeterminalofthehydraulicpump
motorstartsolenoidandgroundwhile
jumpingthe12V+batterypowertothe
smallterminalwiththewhite/blackwire.
Ifvoltageisnotpresent,thesolenoid
hasfailedorthebrownwirefromthe
smallterminalofthesolenoidtoground
ismaybedisconnectedorbroken.If
voltageispresent,thewhite/blackwire
fromthesmallterminalofthesolenoid
tocontrolmaybedisconnectedor
broken.Connectorreplacethewiring
Thehydraulicpumpmotordoesnotrun.

atthewhite9-pincontrolconnector
ofthevehiclesideharnesswiththe

theswitchisinneutral.
1.Thesolenoidhasfailedintheclosed
position.
1.Disconnectthecontrollerwhilethe
ignitionison.Ifthehydraulicpump
continuestorun,thepumpmotor
startsolenoidhasfailedintheclosed
position.Quicklyremovethepower
totheplowbydisconnectingthe
power/groundcablestotheplow.
Replacethesolenoid.Ifthehydraulic
pumpstopsrunning,checkthecontrol
wiringforashortbetweentheblack
andwhite/blackwire,orafailedcontrol
switch.Connect,repair,orreplacethe
wiringorswitch.
