Theclock,alarmandpresetstationssettingscanbeprotectedagainstACpowerfailurewiththe
batteriesforashortperiodoftime.Ifnobackupbatteriesareinstalledorthepowerfailureisprolonged,
youwillneedtosettheclockagain.
STANDBYMODE
Placetheunitonaflatstablesurfaceandplugthepowercordintothemainssocket.
Theunitisinstandbymodeand“0:00”willflashonthedisplay.

1. Instandbymode,pressandholdSETuntilthedisplayflashes.
2. RepeatedlypressHRtosetthehours.
3. RepeatedlypressMINtosettheminutes.
4. PressSETtoconfirm.

1. PressPOWERtoturnontheradio.
ThedefaultFMfrequencyorthelastfrequencyyoutunetheradioto.
ThedefaultFMradiofrequencyis87.5MHz.
2. PressBANDoncetoentertheAMradiomode.
ThedefaultAMradiofrequencyis522kHz.
3. RepeatedlypressBANDtoselectthedesiredradioband.
4. AdjustthevolumebyrepeatedlypressingVOLUME/.
5. RepeatedlypressTUNING/totuneintothedesiredstation.
PressandholdTUNING/forautoforwardorbackwardradiostationsearching.
NOTE:
ForthebestFMreception,extendtheFMaerialtoitsfulllength.
ForthebestAMreception,rotatetheunittothepositiongivingbestreception.
PRESETTINGYOURFAVOURITERADIOSTATION
Upto10FMand10AMradiostationscanbepreset.
1. Followstepsin"RADIOOPERATION"andtuneintothestationthatyouwishtopreset.
2. PressandholdSETforabout2seconds,“P01”willflashonthedisplay.
3. PressSETagaintostorethestation.
4. Repeatsteps1to3tostoredesiredstations.
5. Tolistentopresetradiostations,pressMEMOrepeatedlytoselectthedesiredradiostation.
DUALALARMSOPERATION
Beforesettingthealarmtime,makesuretheClockhasbeenset.
SettingAlarm1orAlarm2
1. Instandbymode,pressandholdAL1orAL2for2seconds.
Thehourandminutedigitswillflash.
2. SetthealarmtimebyrepeatedlypressingHRandMINrespectively.
PressandholdHRandMINrespectivelyforfastadvance.
3. PressAL1orAL2againtoselectthealarmsound(OFF>BUZZER>RADIOincycle)
Checkingalarmtime
PressandholdAL1orAL2for2seconds,thealarmtimewillflashonthedisplay.

Toturnoffthealarm,pressPOWERandthealarmwillcomeonagainatthesettimeonthefollowing
days.
Tocancelthealarm,repeatedlypressAL1orAL2untilthealarmindicatorlightgoesoutonthedisplay.
Snoozefunction
Thisfunctioncanbeusedtostopthealarmtemporarilyforabout9minutesoncethealarmisactivated.
Whenthesnoozebuttonispressed,thebuzzerorradioalarmsoundswillstopandsoundagainafter
about9minutes.
SLEEPTIMEROPERATION
ThesleepfunctionisdesignedtoautomaticallyturnofftheRadio.
Settingsleeptimer
1. PressSLEEP.
“90”willilluminateonthedisplay.
2. RepeatedlypressSLEEPtoselectthedesiredsleeptimefrom90,80,70,60,50,40,30,20or10
minutes.
3. Theradiowillbeturnedoffaftertheselectedtimehaselapsed.
Tocheckremainingsleeptime,pressSLEEP.
Tocancelsleeptimer,pressSLEEPuntil“OFF”isselected.
Toturnofftheradiobeforethesleeptimehaselapsed,pressPOWER.
