Extension Lead with Surge Protection
Function and instructions for use
Warnings:
• Do not connect in series!
• De-energized only when disconnected!
• Do not cover during operation!
• Only use in dry rooms!
• Always place the product so that the socket is easily
accessible and you can easily reach the main plug!
• When touching damaged, open or live parts, there is
the risk of electric shock!
Overvoltage protection:
The overvoltage protection device prevents damage to
electric appliances connected to the product caused by
voltage peaks. For correct function, the product has to
be connected to a socket with professionally installed
protective conductor. In case of direct lightning strike,
absolutely safe protection of the connected electric
appliances cannot be guaranteed due to the extremely
high energy that occurs. The highest overvoltage
protection possible is provided by a multi-stage
overvoltage protection concept consisting of coarse/
middle protection (installation technology) together
with our ne protection according to EN 61643-11 type 3.

Red light

lation checked by a qualied electrician!

Insurance protection for connected devices
Brennenstuhl guarantees the overvoltage protection
properties up to the technical data specied on the
name plate of the relevant product. If the products
have been used properly, Brennenstuhl will take over
the repair and/or the replacement of all electric appli-
ances directly connected to the overvoltage protection
product which have veriably been damaged by over-
voltage, if the following applies: The damage must be
attributable to the fact that the described protective
function according to the technical data was not
provided. For this case, there is insurance protection
for personal and property damage within the scope of
our product liability up to 5 million euros.
Maintenance and cleaning
The product is maintenance-free. Clean the product
with a dry cloth.
Dispose of electric appliances in an
environmentally friendly manner!
Electric appliances must not be disposed of in
household waste.The European Directive 2012/19/
EU on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment rules
that used electric appliances should be collected
separately and recycled in an environmentally friendly
manner. For possibilities of disposal of the used
appliance, please contact your local or municipal
administration.
