RemoveSubstationTop Cover bypullingit up. Disassemble Substation Track
PlateandSubstation Skins by removing threeSubstationTrack Plate screws(Fig.
1). Save hardware for reassembly.

Power connection using power infeed should be performed by
qualified electrician.

STEP 2
LiftSubstation Skirt upand hold it inplace with twowooden blocks 7”long (Fig. 2).
Markboltholepattern(3holes) on the floor using hole locationsinmountingplate
astemplate.Move Substation aside.

a) For concrete floor:
Recommendedhardwareis1/4-20 x 2” concrete expansionanchor. Drillholes
andcompleteinstallationusing hardware manufacturer’s recommendedproce-
dure.
b) For wood floor:
Drillappropriate holes depending on type of woodfor 1/4 x 2” lag screws.
FastenSubstationtothe floor with lag screws.

Removewoodenblocks. Reassemble Substation skins andSubstationtrack
plate.

AssemblePlasticVisual Blocker to channelconnector bracket. Set CamLeverin unlock
position.OpenboththeSubstationSkins.Install theChannel ontoSubstationTrack
Plate.ThreadtheJumperendthroughtheSubstationandplugtoJunctionBox(Fig.7).
Closethe Substation Skins. ReassembleMetal VisualBlocker,SubstationSpider and
CoverPin Plate. Lock the Channelin desired position to Substation by flipping CamLever
over 180° (Fig. 8). Both ends of channel must be installed into Substation/Support
before locking down Cam Lever.

SnapopenChanneldoor. Run data cable through the Channel upper compartment.Thread
thedatacable through the slotto get to thedatabracket opening(Fig. 9). Snapclose
Channeldoor(Fig. 10).

Note: When repositioning Channel caution should be taken not to obstruct free
movement of jumper.
