The DCP-9040CN offers breathtaking color and
razor-sharp monochrome output. It also features
fast print and copy speeds, flatbed copying and
scanning, and an up to 35-page auto-document
feeder for multi-page documents.
The DCP-9040CN gives you the flexibility to
connect either locally, or to your network, via
its built-in Hi-Speed USB 2.0 or Ethernet
network interface**.
• Exceptional paper-handling – Both models come equipped
with a 250-sheet capacity paper tray (easily adjustable for
letter or legal-size paper), and a 50-sheet capacity, fold-down
multi-purpose tray that is ideal for feeding individual sheets of
letterhead or for printing envelopes.
If you need additional paper capacity, the DCP-9045CDN accepts
an optional second 500-sheet capacity paper tray (LT-100CL)‡.
• Color and mono laser printing – Fast, rich color and black
and white, at up to 21ppm.
• Color and mono copying – No PC required … use the
flatbed glass or the auto document feeder for quick copies
at up to 17cpm.
• Color scanning – Super high-resolution scanning, plus a
variety of scan-to features such as scan-to-E-mail, scan-to-
image, scan-to-OCR, scan-to-file and scan-to-FTP.

Printer with Built-in Duplex
The DCP-9045CDN includes all the features of the DCP-9040CN,
plus several major enhancements. Along with a 5-line LCD display
and USB Direct Interface, the DCP-9045CDN also provides a legal-
size (8.5" x 14") document glass for copying and scanning. It also
offers a higher capacity auto document feeder – up to 50 pages –
as well as twice the standard memory.
The DCP-9045CDN also includes built-in automatic
duplex capability for two-sided printing, copying
and scanning†. This feature can significantly cut your
paper costs when printing and copying two-sided
documents, plus provide a more professional look.
