General Safety Information
IMPORTANT: Please read all the instructions before operating your
BRUNTON Portable Power product.
This manual contains important information about the BRUNTON Portable
Power assembly, use, and maintenance of the product. Keep this manual
for future reference. Be sure to read this manual completely before using
the Explorer to prevent misuse of the products and possible injury, fire,
property damage or death.
Particular attention should be paid to the information accompanied by the
safely alert words: WARNING, IMPORTANT and CAUTION.
CAUTION - Do not submerge the unit in water or use the unit
after it has been exposed to water!
CAUTION –Do not open the BRUNTON Portable Power unit –
there are no serviceable parts inside.
CAUTION: Check for compatibility and fit of adaptors before
using the unit to charge electronic devices –improperly seated
adaptors can be a shock hazard and may damage the electronic
device.
CAUTION: The USB output from this unit is built for USB 2.0
compatible 5V units. Using your BRUNTON Explorer on older
electronics could cause damage to units and/or the persons
operating them.
WARNING –Explosion Hazard! DO NOT incinerate any BRUNTON
Portable Power device.

Portable Power device in a microwave.

Features and Locations
Troubleshooting
If your BRUNTON Explorer product fails to work, please take the following
steps:
1. Unplug and replug all connections to make sure they are
seated correctly.
2. Move the unit into brighter sunlight.
3. Make sure that the green usage indicator L.E.D. turns on atop
the Explorer USB port. If this light fails to turn on, contact
customer service.
4. Test the Explorer on another electronic device to see if the
issue is with the electronic device you are charging or if the
Explorer is malfunctioning.

5. If one of your solar panels is visibly damaged, it will still work
as all panels are wired independently, but the current
provided will be less.

Usage Instructions
1. Unfold the BRUNTON Explorer unit in a brightly sunlit area.
Make sure the panels of the unit are directed towards the
sun and there are no objects obstructing the light reaching
the panels.
2. Plug a USB cable into the BRUNTON Explorer unit.
3. Plug the other end of the cable into the 5V electronic device
needing to charge.
4. Wait until the electronic device is fully charged.
5. Unplug the USB cable from the electronic device.
6. Unplug the cable from the BRUNTON Explorer.
7. Use your BRUNTON Explorer to recharge the electronic
device as necessary.
BRUNTON, Limited Warranty
BRUNTON warrants this product to be free of defects in materials
and workmanship for a period of one year. This warranty extends to
the original purchaser for one year from the date of purchase.
This warranty is void and a charge for repair will be made if the
product has been damaged by negligence, accident or mishandling,
or has not been operated in accordance with standard operating
procedures, or if the product was altered or repaired by other than
a BRUNTON repair facility.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you also have rights
which vary from state to state. No other warranty, expressed or
implied applies to this BRUNTON product, nor is any person or
company authorized to assume any other warranty for BRUNTON.
BRUNTON does not assume any responsibility for any consequential
damage occasioned by this product. Should the product prove
defective, contact BRUNTON and you will be provided with a Return
Authorization Number (RA#). Send a copy of your proof of purchase,
the RA#, a short description of the problem and the product to
BRUNTON at the following address. BRUNTON suggests insuring the
product in case of damage or loss in shipment.

Funktionen und Positionen
Problemlösung
Funktioniert Ihr BRUNTON Explorer-Produkt nicht, gehen Sie
folgendermaßen vor:
1. Stecken Sie alle Verbindungen aus und wieder ein, und
achten Sie dabei darauf, dass sie korrekt sitzen.
2. Stellen Sie das Gerät in helleres Licht.
3. Stellen Sie sicher, dass die grüne LED, die Verwendbarkeit
anzeigt, auf dem Explorer USB-Port angeht. Leuchtet diese
Leuchte nicht auf, wenden Sie sich an den Kundendienst.
4. Prüfen Sie den Explorer an einem anderen elektronischen
Gerät, um herauszufinden, ob das Problem bei dem zu
ladenden Gerät liegt, oder ob der Explorer nicht funktioniert.

Bedienungsanleitung
1. Klappen Sie den BRUNTON Explorer an einem Ort mit
hellem Sonnenlicht auf. Stellen Sie sicher, dass die
Solarsegel des Geräts in Richtung Sonne zeigen, und dass
keine Gegenstände verhindern, dass das Licht diese Flächen
erreicht.
2. Stecken Sie ein USB-Kabel am BRUNTON Explorer an.
3. Stecken Sie das andere Ende in das 5V-Gerät, das geladen
werden soll.
4. Warten Sie, bis das Gerät aufgeladen ist.
5. Stecken Sie das USB-Kabel am elektrischen Gerät ab.
6. Stecken Sie das Kabel am BRUNTON Explorer ab.
7. Verwenden Sie den BRUNTON Explorer bei Bedarf, um das
elektrische Gerät wieder aufzuladen.
BRUNTON-Garantie
BRUNTON garantiert, dass dieses Produkt für den Zeitraum von
einem Jahr frei von Sach- und Bearbeitungsfehlern ist. Diese
Garantie gilt für den Erstkäufer für ein Jahr ab dem Kaufdatum.

Fonctionnalités et emplacements
Résolution des pannes
Si votre Explorer BRUNTON tombe en panne, veuillez suivre les procédures
suivantes :
1. Débranchez et rebranchez toutes les connexions pour vous
assurer qu'elles sont correctement effectuées.
2. Placez l'unité sous une source lumineuse plus intense.
3. Assurez-vous que le voyant lumineux vert est allumé au-
dessus du port USB de l'Explorer. Si le voyant est éteint,
contactez le service après-vente.
4. Testez l'Explorer avec un autre appareil électronique afin de
définir si le problème vient de l'appareil électronique que
vous essayez de recharger ou d'un dysfonctionnement de
l'Explorer.
5. Si l'un de vos panneaux solaires est visiblement endommagé,
il continuera de fonctionner, car tous les panneaux solaires

Mode d'emploi
1. Installez l'unité Explorer BRUNTON dans un endroit très
exposé à la lumière. Assurez-vous que les panneaux de
l'unité sont dirigés vers le soleil et qu'aucun objet
n'empêche la lumière de rayonner sur les panneaux.
2. Connectez un câble USB à l'unité Explorer BRUNTON.
3. Connectez l'autre extrémité du câble à l'appareil
électronique de 5 V que vous devez recharger.
4. Attendez que l'appareil électronique soit entièrement
rechargé.
5. Déconnectez le câble USB de l'appareil électronique.
6. Déconnectez le câble de l'Explorer BRUNTON.
7. Utilisez votre Explorer BRUNTON pour recharger l'appareil
électronique que vous souhaitez.
Garantie limitée BRUNTON
BRUNTON garantit ce produit contre tout défaut de matériel et de
fabrication pendant une période d'un an. Cette garantie couvre
