Kit Contents
The MDT3700 kit includes the following:
Installation Process
1. Attach the MDT cradle (B) to the
suction cup arm mount (E) using the 4
silver screws (D):
2. Attach the Micro USB end of the USB
power cable (F) to the cradle:

3. Attach the suction cup arm mount to
the windshield, using the lever to
engage suction:
IMPORTANT: Ensure the windshield
surface is clean before mounting the
suction cup.
4. Power and data connections:
A) Standard Power Connection:
Plug in the USB power cable (F) to the
USB cigarette lighter adapter (G), and
then plug the adapter into the
vehicle’s cigarette lighter:
B) (Optional) Power and data connection:
If this option is purchased, an IOX-USB cable
will be included in the kit. In this case, the
MDT3700 must be powered through the
Geotab GO Device via the IOX-USB cable as
shown here:
(Optional) To permanently fasten the MDT3700 to the
cradle, fasten the two medium black screws (C) through
back of the cradle into the back of the MDT:
IMPORTANT: You should only do this if it is requested by
the fleet manager in writing.
