IMPORTANT NOTICES
Dear Customer, thank you for choosing GLAMOUR, the electronic scale and timer from Casa Bugatti. Like any
domestic appliance, this scale must be used with care and attention to prevent the scale getting damaged.
BEFORE USING THE SCALE FOR THE FIRST TIME, READ ALL
THE INSTRUCTIONS ON INSTALLATION CAREFULLY.
BUTTON OPERATION “PROXIMITY”
Place your hand just over the scale weighing surface for more than 2 sec. Automatically the 4 func-
tion buttons light up. To save energy, button sign will switch OFF after 10 seconds. It will light up when
you place your hand over the scale again.
On/off Button To switch ON the scale, touch the surface of ON/OFF button for 1 second and release.
To switch OFF the scale, touch and hold the surface of the ON/OFF button for 3 seconds until the LED display
is switched OFF.
Mode Button The Mode Button allows you to choose weighing or timer function. You can switch be-
tween the two functions at any time.
System Button In scale mode: the System Button allows you to choose between Metric (Kg/g) or Impe-
rial (Lb/oz) as your preferred system of measurement. You may touch the surface of System Button at any
time to switch between the two systems without resetting the scale to zero. In timer mode: The System
Button allows you to adjust the time and as to start/ stop the time countdown.
Tare/ Set Button In scale mode: the Tare /Set Button allows you to add n’ weigh each additional item.
Touch the surface of button to reset the scale to zero. (max 5 Kg)
In timer mode: Touch the surface of button to set the timer.

FUNCTION
Battery installation
To install the batteries follow the paragraph “REPLACE BATTERY”. NOTE: After you install or replace new
batteries, please wait about 30 sec then do the starting-up.
Switching on
Place the scale on at and rm surface - this is essential for correct measurement. Place your hand just
over the scale weighing surface for more than 2 sec. . Automatically the 4 function buttons light up
on the display . Touch the surface of the ON/OFF button to switch
on the scale .
Weighing
After touching the surface of the ON/OFF button, as soon as ‘0’ appears,
the scale is ready for use.The maximum weighing capacity of the scale is 5 KG.
The SYSTEM button allows you to choose between Metric (Kg/g) or Impe-
rial (Lb/oz) as your preferred system of measurement. The display will show
‘Err’ when the scale is overload. WARNING: Continuous excessive overload
may damage the weighing function.
Tare Function
After weighing the rst item on the scale and with the item remaining on the
scale, touch the surface of the TARE/SET button to reset the scale to
zero. You may then add the second item on the scale and it will show the
weight of the second item only. You may repeat the same steps for weighing
consecutive items up tp a max. total weight of 5 kg (11 lb).
Auto-Off Function
You may switch off the scale at any time by touching and hold the surface of
the ON/OFF button for 3 seconds. In order to prolong the battery life,
the scale will be switched off automatically when:
(a) the weight reading is steady for about 60 seconds.
(b) the scale is not in use for 60 seconds.

Timer function
Touch the surface of MODE Button to enter the timer mode. The LED
display shows M 00:00S. M = Minute S = Second - The maximum time is 90 mins
59 sec.
Setting the timer
1) Touch the surface of TARE/ SET Button , the minute count will blink .
2) Touch the surface of SYSTEM Button to adjust the minutes. Each touch
correspond to one minute and if touch the surface of the button, the minutes
will grow continuously.
3) Touch the surface of TARE/ SET button, the second count will blink .
4) Touch the surface of SYSTEM button to adjust the seconds. Each
touch correspond to one second and if touch the surface of the button, the
seconds will grow continuously.
5) Touch the surface of TARE/ SET button again to conrm the time.
6. Touch the surface of SYSTEM button to start the time count down.
7. When the time is up, touch the surface of SYSTEM Button to stop the
buzzer. If no button is touched the buzzer works just for one minute before
to stop automatically and the display remain on for 30 seconds.
NOTE: When you enter the timer MODE , it shows the previous time
setting. You may follow the above steps to re-adjust the time.
REPLACE BATTERY
When “Lo ” blinks on the display, the battery must
be replaced. The scale requires 3 AAA (1.5V) bat-
teries.The battery compartment is located on the
underside of the scale.
To replace the battery, you have to open the com-
partment cover and remove the used battery. Before
you replace the new battery into the compartment,
please make sure the battery is installed to the cor-
rect polarity(+) / (-).

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
DO NOTS:
1) Do not immense the scale in water.
2) Do not operate the scale with wet hands.
3) Do not put the scale into the dishwasher.
4) Do not put items exceeding 5 KG onto the scale as this could damage the scale.
5) Do not place items on the display part as this could damage the LED display.
6) Do not try to open the scale by force.
DOS:
1) the handle to lift up the scale.
2) Always clean the scale with soft damp cloth only.
3) Always keep out the scale from re, direct sunlight or acidic substances.
4) Always store the scale in dry condition.
5) Always replace new batteries at the same time to maximize the battery life.
Note: To save our environment, used battery should be disposed through your electrical dealer or local re-
source recycling collection point.

At the end of its working life the product must not
be disposed of alongside urban waste. It can be de-
livered to local-authority separated waste collection
centres or to dealers who provide this service.
Separated disposal of a household appliance enables
possible negative consequences for the environment
and health arising from improper disposal to be
eliminated and enables the materials of which it is
made to be recovered in order to make signicant
power and resource savings. The symbol of a move-
able waste bin marked with a cross displayed on the
product indicates that as a household appliance it
must be disposed of separately.
