Assembly and Operation
Find a level, dry area to assemble this item. Pay attention to wind direction, game
trails, andother information relevant toyour huntingor observation program.
CAUTION: This item is not suited for use in high wind situations or other extreme
conditions.
1. Remove the blind from its carrying bag.
2. As you unfold the blind, pay attention to how it is folded. This will make it
easier for you to refold the blind when you want to return it to its carrying
case.
3. Because of the spring steel inserts sewn into the cloth, this blind is “self
erecting”. As it infolds, it assumes its erected shape.
4. Remove any objects on the ground that might cut or damage the cloth, and
position the blind as desired.
5. To prevent the blind from shifting or blowing over, stake it to the ground using
the included metal stakes. Place these one at a time through the loops sewn
into the base of the blind, and press them into the ground. You may need to
use a small hammer to drive them into the ground. The included rope can be
used to further stabilize the blind. Attach one end of the rope to loops above
the windows, while attaching the other end of the rope to stakes on the
ground.
6. The loops at the base of the blind can also be used to hold brush to further
blendinto the environment.
WARNING:Theblindis NOTFIREPROOF.Neveruseanyfire or heating device
within the blind. Exposure to flame or high heat may cause the blind to catch on fire
possiblycausingsevere injury or death.
WARNING: Never use anyheating deviceinside the blind. In addition tofire

colorless, odorless gas which can cause severe injury or death.
7. Inaddition tothe horizontal windows, there are vertical windowsin three sides.
If desired one or more of these windows may be opened by pulling back the
flaps and tying the flaps in place with the supplied tieback straps.

behindyou.This doorway is wheelchair accessible.

To fold up the blind:
1. Remove any stakes or brush that may be in place.
2. Lay the blind on its side, and flatten it.Tuck the floor and side material neatly
in place.
3. Grasp the floor of the blind and lift it
toward the top. When you are a little
morethan half way to folding the
bottom onto the top, twist it
completelyover, either to the right or
left. See photo at right.
4. Once twisted over, the bottom
will lay flat on the top, effectively
folding the blind in half. See photo at
left.
5. Again,graspthelowerportionof
the blind, and begin to fold it toward
the top. Again, when a little more than
halfwayfolded, twist the lower portion
completely over, then lay flat on the

go of the folded blind as it will unfold quickly and possibly cause personal
