Thank you for purchasing the Magnetyze Magnetic
Charging System. Magnetyze is a magnetics-based
charging system that enables seamless attachment,
charging, and data transfer for the iPhone 4 and 4S.

Attaching the Phone to the Sleeve: (Fig. 1)
1. Slide your iPhone onto the case (a) and make
sure the connector attaches firmly to the phone.
2. Attach the protective bumper (b), making sure
the bumper matches the speaker and other
functional button openings (i.e. volume and
power) on the phone.
Charge Using the AC Wall Charger: (Fig. 2)
1. Plug the micro USB cable (c) into the back
of the charging stand (d) and plug the USB
end of the cable into the AC charger (e).
Then plug the AC charger into the
wall outlet.
2. Connect your iPhone (with Magnetyze
case) onto the base to begin
charging your iPhone.
3. Once connected, the charging symbol
should appear on the phone display to
indicate that the phone is charging.
Charge and Sync Data Using a Computer:
1. Plug the micro USB cable into the back of
the charging stand and plug the USB end
of the cable into your computer’s USB port.
(Fig. 3) Alternatively, the magnetic
charging cable (f) can be used in place
of the charging stand. Simply plug the USB
end of the cable into the computer’s USB port
and attach the magnetic connector to the case.
You may also use the magnetic charging cable
from the AC Charger to the Magnetyze case to
charge, sync or use your phone.
2. Connect your iPhone (with Magnetyze
case) onto the base (either horizontally or
vertically) to begin charging your iPhone.
3. In addition to the charging symbol, iTunes
should also launch automatically to indicate
the data connection.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
• Is it safe to use magnets with my phone and computer?
Yes. The strength of the magnets and the corresponding fields are
optimized to be strong enough to hold and charge the iPhone but not
strong enough to cause any other interference.
• Will the magnets interfere with smartphone features like GPS,
compass and reception?
No. The iPhone usesAssisted GPS which employs both cellular signals as
well as GPS satellite signals to determine location. Magnetyze does not
affect the reception of either signal type and therefore does not impact GPS
function. The Compass feature uses both magnetic fields and an
accelerometer to accurately determine the orientation of the phone.
This smart implementation makes it less susceptible to inference by magnets
and is therefore not affected significantly by Magnetyze. Independent lab
measurements show that cellular reception performance does not degrade
when using your iPhone with Magnetyze.
HELPFUL USAGE TIPS
• Attach the iPhone to the charging
stand by simply bringing it close
to the stand and allowing the
Magnetyze magnets to pull the
phone into the correct position.
The iPhone can be rotated 360°
for charging in vertical or
horizontal positions.
• When charging the phone using
the Magnetyze system, the iPhone
will indicate both charging and
charge complete status, similar
to when using the original
charging cable.
• When removing the iPhone from the stand, hold the stand with one hand
and pull the phone with the case away from the stand.
• The Magnetyze charging system takes approximately 2-3 hours to fully
charge an iPhone. This time may vary depending on the level of discharge
of the phone’s internal battery.

• Will keys or other metal objects cause a short circuit or drain my batteries?
No. Safety features such as short circuit protection are built into Magnetyze
and they protect against short circuits.
• What can happen if my case comes in contact with a wet counter or if I spill
water on the charging stand?
As with all electronic devices, Magnetyze should not be used around water or
in damp environments. However, Magnetyze has built-in safety protection
features that will protect the phone against short circuits should the
Magnetyze charger come into contact with water.
• Is it safe to use Magnetyze around credit cards or other
magnetic-striped products?
Credit card magnetic strips are susceptible to all magnets, including the
ones used in Magnetyze, Therefore, you should keep them at a reasonable
distance. Note: Credit card data chips are safe.
• I am syncing my iPhone and I get a message that iTunes cannot detect my
iPhone. What should I do?
Please remove and reattach the phone case. If the problem persists, please
reboot the computer.
ONE YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY - This product carries a limited warranty against defects in material and workmanship under
normal use and service for one year from the original date of purchase. The manufacturer or distributor, at its option, shall repair
or replace the defective unit covered by this warranty. Please retain the dated sales receipt as evidence of the date of purchase as
it will be required for any warranty service. In order to keep the warranty in effect, the product must have been handled and used
as described in the instructions accompanying this warranty. This warranty does not cover any damage due to accident, misuse,
abuse or negligence.
DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTY
The limited warranty described herein is your sole remedy. To the extent permitted by law, the manufacturer and distributor disclaim
all other implied or express warranties including all warranties of merchantability and/or fitness for any particular purpose.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Except to the extent of repairing or replacing the
Magnetyze charging system as expressly stated in
the limited warranty described herein, the manufac-
turer and distributor shall not be liable for any dam-
ages, whether direct, indirect, incidental, special,
consequential, exemplary, or otherwise, including
lost revenues, lost profits, loss of use of software,
loss or recovery of data, rental of replacement equip-
ment, downtime, damage to property, and third-party
claims, arising out of any theory of recovery, including
statutory, contract or tort. Notwithstanding the term of
any limited or implied warranty, or in the event that
any limited warranty fails of its essential purpose, in
no event will the manufacturer’s and distributor’s en-
tire liability exceed the purchase price of this product.
Some states and provinces do not allow the exclu-
sion or limitation of incidental or consequential dam-
ages so the above limitations or exclusions may not
apply to you. This limited warranty gives you specific
legal rights. You may have other rights which vary
from state to state and province to province.
