(mit vollautomatischer, elektronischer Standlichtfunktion)
LUMOTEC oval 12plus“, DToplight 12plus“ und Seculite 12plus“
Sie haben eine sehr hochwertige 12-Volt-Fahrradlichtanlage erworben. Bitte beachten Sie sowohl diese Anleitung für die Beleuchtungskomponenten
als auch die der Set-Verpackung beiliegende ebrauchsanleitung für den Super-Leichtlaufdynamo „DYMOTEC S12“ vor Anbringung und Fahrt.
Wie funktioniert die Standlichtfunktion?
Während der Fahrt wird ein geringer Teil der Energie, die der Dynamo liefert, in Kondensatoren gespeichert. Bereits nach etwa 3 Min ten Fahrt bei ca. 20 km/h sind die Konden-
satoren voll geladen. Bei langsamer Fahrt nd während der Standzeit wird die Energie an die Le chtdioden abgegeben. Diese Technik ist immer betriebsbereit, wart ngsfrei nd
erfordert weder Batterien noch Akk s. Bei den Rücklichtern erfolgt die a tomatische Abschalt ng des Standlichts nach ca. 4 Min ten.
Halogenscheinwerfer für hervorragende Fahrbahnausleuchtung und erhöhte Sicherheit
Montage:
Der „LUMOTEC oval 12pl s“ ist z r Befestig ng an Ihrem Fahrrad komplett a sgestattet. Stecken Sie den Lampenhalter (A)
oder den k rzen Halter (G) — besonders geeignet bei Trommel-, Felgen-, Hydra lik- oder V-Bremsen — a f den Gehä se-
sockel (B) nd befestigen Sie ihn mit der beiliegenden Schra be (C). Wichtig: Richten Sie Ihren Scheinwerfer nach
erfolgtem Anba am Gabelkopf so a s, dass der Lichtkegel etwa 5—10 m vor dem Rad a f die Fahrbahn trifft. Ziehen Sie
dann die Schra be (C) mit dem beiliegenden Innensechskant-Schlüssel (4 mm) bei Verwend ng von Lampenhalter (A)
bzw. mit einem einwandfrei passenden Ma lschlüssel bei Verwend ng des k rzen Lampenhalters (G) so fest an, dass
sich der Scheinwerfer nicht von selbst verstellen kann.
Kabelanschluss:
Der obere Doppelkontakt (1) ist der Steckanschl ss für das Stromkabel, der ntere (2) für das Massekabel. (Die jeweils
freien Steckkontakte können z m Anschl ss des Rücklichts gen tzt werden). Falls Sie nicht das beiliegende Kabel mit
Steckhülsen, sondern das an Ihrem Fahrrad vorhandene Stromkabel n tzen wollen, so können Sie das a f zweierlei
Weise machen:
1. Entweder crimpen Sie die beiliegende Steckhülse an das abisolierte Kabelende, ziehen darüber den beiliegenden
Schr mpfschla ch nd n tzen den Steckkontakt (1).
2. Oder Sie bringen den Rasthebel (4) in die markierte Stell ng „AUF“, führen das nichtabisolierte Kabel in die Kabelöffn ng (3)
ein nd schieben mit festem Dr ck den Rasthebel in die Stell ng „ZU“ (dabei Stre scheibe (D) leicht gegen Lampengehä se (F) drücken).
Sollten Sie ein Massekabel n tzen wollen, verfahren Sie wie oben nter 1. geschildert, wobei Sie die Steckkontakte (2) nehmen. Oder legen Sie das
abisolierte Ende des Kabels nter die leicht gelöste Masseschra be (5) nterhalb der Steckkontakte nd ziehen dann die Schra be wieder fest.
lühlampenwechsel:
Mit dem Rasthebel (4) lösen Sie in der Stell ng „AUF“ die Stre scheibe (D) vom Gehä se (F), so dass Sie die Halogenglühlampe (E) a sta schen können.
(Bei Einsetzen der ne en Halogenglühlampe 12V/5W (HS4) a f die N t im Lampensockel achten!) Nachdem Sie die Stre scheibe (D) wieder in das Gehä se (F) eingelegt haben
(bitte leicht angedrückt halten), schieben Sie den Rasthebel (4) in die Position „ZU“ — der Glühlampenwechsel ist ohne Werkze g erledigt. Der vordere Scheinwerferteil (D) —
Stre scheibe mit Reflektor, Glühlampe nd weißer LED — ist mit dem Gehä se (F) d rch die beiden Kabel (H) verb nden, die von der Platine mit Kondensator z r weißen LED
führen. Achten Sie dara f, dass an diesen Kabeln nicht z stark gezogen wird.
epäckträger-Diodenrücklicht
Das „DToplight 12pl s“ wird mit Schra bbolzen am Gepäckträger mit M ttern nd Zahnscheiben befestigt, wod rch a ch der Massekontakt hergestellt ist. Sollte über den Gepäck-
träger kein Massekontakt entstehen, da z.B. K nststoffba teile den Leit ngsweg nterbrechen, so ist mit einem separaten Kabel vom markierten Schra bbolzen des Rücklichts
a s der Massekontakt z schaffen (z.B. z r Gepäckträgerstrebe) oder ein Massekabel direkt über den markierten Steck- oder Schra banschl ss z montieren nd z m Dynamo
oder Scheinwerfer z verlegen.
Das Stromkabel wird an dem entsprechenden Steck- oder Schra bkontakt angeschlossen. Die Rückstrahlerfläche des „DToplight 12pl s“ m ss senkrecht z r Fahrbahn a sge-
richtet sein.
Schutzblech-Diodenrücklicht
Das „Sec lite 12pl s“ hat an der Gehä se-Unterseite zwei Steckontakte 2,8 x 0,5 mm (A) passend für Steckhülsen
3 x 0,5 mm. Die Kontakte sind mit den Zeichen nd gekennzeichnet. Alternativ kann der Anschl ss des Strom-
nd eines evtl. vorhandenen Massekabels (a ch ohne Abisolier ng!) in den neben den entsprechenden Kontakten
sichtbaren Öffn ngen (B) hergestellt werden:
1. Den Einsch b (C) hera sziehen (evtl. mit Schra bendreher leicht hebeln).
2. Das/die Kabel einführen.
3. Den Einsch b (C) wieder z schieben nd fest eindrücken. Danach ist ein einwandfreier Sitz nd Kontakt gegeben.
Fitting Instructions for the 12 Volt Lighting Components

You have purchased a high quality 12 Volt Bicycle Lighting System. Before installing and riding please pay careful attention to the instructions for both the lights and for the
super light travel dynamo ‘DYMOTEC S12’ (enclosed to the set packaging).
How does the standlight function work?
Whilst riding an electronically reg lated facility stores a small amo nt of power s pplied by the generator in condensers. After 3 min tes at a speed of approx. 20 km/h the
condensers are f lly charged. At low speeds and when stationary the condensers feed the LEDs. This technology is always operational, maintenance-free and operates witho t
batteries or acc m lators. The standlight of the rear lights will a tomatically go o t after 4 min tes.
Halogen headlight providing excellent road illumination and added safety
Installation:
The ‘LUMOTEC oval 12pl s’ is s pplied complete with brackets and ready for assembly onto yo r bicycle. Join the bracket (A) or the short bracket (G) — s itable especially for
dr m, calliper, hydra lic or V brakes — to the base of the lamp ho sing (B) and fasten it with the enclosed screw (C). Important: Adj st the headlight so that the light ill minates
the road 5—10 m in front of the bike. Then tighten the screw (C) sing the enclosed allen key (4 mm) for the bracket (A) or a well fitting hexagon spanner for the short bracket (G)
firmly so that the headlight won’t move whilst riding.
Cable connection:
The pper do ble contact (1) is the pl g contact for the c rrent cable, the lower one (2) is for the mass (earth) cable. (The 2 free pl g contacts may be sed for connecting the
rear light). If yo do not se the enclosed pl g on cable b t choose to se the existing wiring of yo r bike, yo can connect the lamp in one of the following two ways:
1. Either crimp the enclosed pl g socket to the stripped wire end, p ll the shrink t be over and se the pl g contact (1).
2. T rn the switch (4) to the position ‘AUF’ (open), insert the ins lated cable into the opening (3) and t rn the switch back to the position ‘ZU’ (closed) whilst pressing the lens (D)
slightly against the ho sing (F).
If yo se a mass (earth) cable then follow description 1. above and se the pl g contacts (2). Alternatively slightly loosen the mass screw (5) beneath
the pl g contacts, place a bare end cable nder it and then tighten the screw.

Changing the bulb:
Disconnect the lens (D) from ho sing (F) by t rning the switch (4) to the position ‘AUF’ (open) and remove the b lb (E).
(When inserting the new halogen b lb 12V/5W (HS4) pay attention to the notch in the b lb holder!). Reassemble the lens (D) to the ho sing (F) and t rn the switch (4) back to
the position ‘ZU’ (closed) whilst pressing the lens slightly against the ho sing — no tools are req ired. The front part of the halogen headlight (D) (lens with reflector, b lb and
white LED) is connected to the ho sing (F) by the two cables (H) leading from the circ it board with condenser to the white LED. Please be especially caref l not to p ll these
cables too strongly.
Luggage carrier diode rear light
Assemble the ‘DToplight 12pl s’ with the bolts to the l ggage carrier and fix it with the washers and n ts which creates a mass (earth) contact. If a mass (earth) contact is not
possible d e to plastic parts interr pting the electrical circ it yo can either connect a wire from the marked bolt on the rear light to the l ggage carrier stay or connect a mass
(earth) cable to the marked pl g or screw contact and connect it to the dynamo or headlight.
Connect the c rrent cable to the corresponding marked pl g or screw contact .
The integral reflector of the ‘DToplight 12pl s’ m st be vertically adj sted with the road.
Mudguard diode rear light
The ‘Sec lite 12pl s’ feat res two pl g contacts 2.8 x 0.5 mm (A) at the bottom of the ho sing that accept standard pl g sockets 3 x 0.5 mm. The contacts are marked by the
mass (earth) sign and the c rrent sign. C rrent and mass cables witho t a pl g socket can be connected (witho t skinning the casing) thro gh the holes (B) visible besides the
corresponding pl g contacts:
1. P ll open the insertion (C) – (Slightly lift with screw driver if necessary).
2. Insert the cable(s)
3. Close the insertion (C) pressing firmly. An electrical contact and a perfect fitting is a tomatically made.

Vous avez opté pour une système d’éclairage de bicyclette de 12 Volt de haute qualité. Avant l’installation et l’utilisation, veuillez référer attentivement aux notice de montage
non seulement des feux mais aussi de la dynamo «DYMOTEC S12» (jointe à l'emballage).
Comment marche le feu de position?
D rant le déplacement, ne petite q antité de l'énergie fo rnie par la dynamo est emmagasinée dans les condensate rs. Ces derniers sont déjà en état de charge complète en
l'espace de 3 min tes, à ne vitesse de déplacement d'environ 20 km/h. A relanti et à l'arrêt, cette énergie est délivrée a x DELs. Il s'agit d' n système to jo rs prêt à fonctionner,
ne nécessitant a c ne maintenance, q i rend les piles et les acc s s perfl s. Le fe de position des fe x arrières s'éteint a tomatiq ement environ 4 min tes pl s tard.
Ce phare halogène vous garantit de la luminosité excellente et de la sécurité accrue.
Installation :
Le «LUMOTEC oval 12pl s» est to t éq ipé po r être fixé s r votre bicyclette. Enfoncez le porte-lampe (A) o le porte-lampe co rt (G) — partic lièrement adapté po r le montage
s r freins s r jante, à tambo r, hydra liq es o freins V — s r le socle d boîtier (B) et fixez-le à l’aide de la vis (C) jointe à l’emballage. Important : après le montage, aj stez le phare
de telle sorte q e le faiscea l mine x éclaire la portion de ro te se tro vant à 5—10 mètres devant le vélo. Vissez ens ite fermement la vis (C) d porte-lampe (A) avec la clé
Allen (4 mm) o la vis d porte-lampe (G) avec ne clé hexagonale, de telle sorte q e le phare ne p isse se déplacer lorsq e vo s pédalez.
Raccordement des câbles :
Le contact s périe r do ble (1) est la prise emboîtable po r le câble cond cte r à l’alimentation co rante, le contact inférie r (2) po r le câble de masse (les de x contacts libres
pe vent être tilisés po r connecter le fe arrière). Si vo s so haitez effect er le câblage avec le câble existant s r votre vélo, et non pas avec le câble q e no s vo s fo rnis-
sons, vo s po vez procéder de de x manières :
1. Bien pincer la fiche femelle a bo t de câble n , passer le t be flexible rétrécissant et tiliser le contact enfichable (1).
2. Vo s po vez a ssi positionner le sélecte r (4) s r «AUF» (o vert) et introd ire le câble non dén dé dans l’orifice (3) prév à cet effet et ramener le sélecte r s r «ZU» (fermé)
to t en exerçant ne légère pression po r appliq er la lentille diff sante (D) contre le boîtier (F).
Si vo s so haitez tiliser le câble de masse, procédez conformément à la description 1 ci-dess s et tilisez les contacts à fiche (2). O alors vo s placez l’extrémité dén dée d
câble so s la vis de masse légèrement desserrée (5), so s les contacts à fiche, et resserrer ens ite la vis.
Remplacement d’ampoule :
To rnez le sélecte r (4) s r la position «AUF» (o verte) po r désolidariser la lentille diff sante (D) d boîtier (F) et remplacez l’ampo le (E). (Lorsq e vo s mettez ne no velle
ampo le en place 12V/5W (HS4), veillez à aligner la rain re de l’ampo le s r la rain re correspondante d porte-lampe !). Après avoir remis la lentille diff sante (D) en place
dans le boîtier (F), en app yant légèrement la lentille contre le boîtier, to rnez le sélecte r (4) s r «ZU» (fermée) — le remplacement de l’ampo le ne nécessite a c n o tillage.
L’élément avant d phare (D) — lentille diff sante avec réflecte r, ampo le et DEL blanche — est relié a boîtier (F) a moyen des de x câbles (H), q i cond isent à la DEL blanche
à partir de la platine à condensate r. Veillez à ne pas tirer trop fortement s r ces câbles.
Feu arrière à diodes sur porte-bagages
Le «DToplight 12pl s» se fixe a porte-bagages a moyen de bo lons filetés, d’écro s et de disq es crantés, ce q i permet d’établir en même temps le contact de masse. Si le
porte-bagages ne permet pas d’établir le contact de masse, en raison de la présence d’éléments en plastiq e, par ex., q i interrompent le contact, il convient d' tililser n câble
séparé po r établir le contact de masse à partir d bo lon fileté marq é d fe arrière (j sq ’a ha ban d porte-bagages) o d’ tiliser n câble de masse à monter directement
via le raccordement enfichable o vissable marq é et de le connecter á la dynamo o a phare avant.
Le fil électriq e doit être raccordé a contact enfichable o vissable correspondant .
La s rface de réflexion de «DToplight 12pl s» doit être orientée à la verticale de la cha ssée.
Feu arrière à diodes sur garde-boue
Le «Sec lite 12pl s» est doté de de x contacts à fiches 2,8 x 0,5 mm (A) sit és s r le desso s d boîtier, po r des contacts femelles de 3 x 0,5 mm. Les contacts sont caractérisés
par les symboles co rant et masse . A la place, il est a ssi possible d’établir le raccordement d fil d’alimentation et d’ n fil de masse évent ellement existant (non dén dé !) dans les
orifices (B) visibles, sit és près des contacts correspondants :
1. Oter l’insert enfichable (C). (So lever légèrement avec n to rnevis si besoin)
2. Insérer le(s) fil(s)
3. Introd ire à no vea l’insert (C) et l’enfoncer fermement.
L’aj stement et le contact sont ens ite ass rés à la perfection.
