CHARGING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Charger wiring connecons:
Ignionandallaccessoriesinthevehicle(orboatetc)mustbeswitchedobefore
connecngthecharger.Thiswillensureyourbaerywillreceivethemaximumcharge
availableshortenthemetofullychargeit.
Connectthered(posive)clampofthechargertotheposiveterminal(post)ofthe
baery.Connecttheblack(negave)clampofthebaerychargetothenegave
terminalofthebaery.
2. Baery Type Selecon:
Aerconnecngthechargercorrectlytothebaery,plugthebaerychargerinput
plugto240VACmainspowersupply.
Thechargerwilldefaulttochargingonthe“LeadAcid”typebaerychargingmode.
IfchargingaCalciumorGeltypebaerypleasechoosethe“CalciumorGel”charging
modebypressingthebaeryselectorswitch.TheCalciumorGelindicatorwillthen
illumintetoshowthetypeofchargingmodethathasbeenselected.
3. Selecng the charging amperage output:
Pressthecurrentselecngbuontoregulatethemaximumchargingcurrent.This
funconwillimprovethechargingeciencyandsafety.Thebaerychargerwillthen
supplya2A,4A,6Acurrenttothebaeryforsostart.Thenaer5econdsofme
thechargerwillsupplyitsfullselectedchargingamperage.
4. Charger disconnecon:
Aerchargingthebaery,turnothe240VACmainpowerthenunplugthecharger
inputplugfrom240VACpowersource.Removetheblack(negave)chargerlead
fromthebaeryrst,andthenremovethered(posive)chargerlead.
