Themachinemustbelevelledandoutriggersextendedbeforeraisingtower.
Keepareaaroundthemachineclearofpeoplewhileraisingandloweringthemast.
NEVERusingtheunitifisinneedofrepair.
Checkthatwinchcablesareingoodconditionandarecenteredoneachpulley.

‐Donotpositionthetowerinthevicinityofoverheadcablesorpowerlines!
‐Neverraisethemastoroperatethetowerwithoutproperlyjackingtheunit!
‐Formaximumlightcoverageandilluminationefficiency,locatetheunitatgroundlevelorinaspothigherthanthearea
beingilluminatedbythelamps.
‐Donotmovethetowerwiththemastraised!
Holdtheextendablehandlewithonehandandpullthelockingpintoreleaseit.Pullthehandleoutwardsuntilit’s

Holdthestabilizerwithonehandandpullthelockingpintoreleaseit.Pullthestabilizeroutwardsuntilit’sfullyextended
andensurethatthelockingpinlockeditinplacesecurelyintheextendedposition.
Jacktheunitupbyrotatingthehandleonthetopofeachstabilizerclockwise.
Pleaserefertothebubblelevels(H)installedontopofthemachine(nearthemast)inordertohavethemachine
perfectlyleveledandstablebeforerisingthetower.
Thewheelsofthemachinehavetotouchthegroundatalltimes.
Thetowercanberotatedupto340degreesinordertodirectthelightasrequired.
Releasetherotationlockingpin(I)andturnthetowerusingtherotationhandlesonthemastinordertodirectthe
lightsasneeded.Don’tforgettolocktherotationafterwards.
Additionallytothemastrotation,eachoftheLEDscanbeadjustedontwoaxesandtiltedbackandforth.Thiswaythe
lightscanbedirectedeitherverticallyorhorizontally.Inordertoadjustthelightontheverticalaxes,theencircledpin
(L)needstobeunlockedbypullingitandthenturningthefloodlight.Foranyadjustments,themastmustbelowered
toallowaccess.

Checkthatthemachineisleveledcorrectlyandstabilizedfirmly.

Afteradjustingthelights,preparetoraisethetowerby:
Inspectingthecableandreplacingit,ifdamaged.
Checkingmountinghardwareforpropertightnessandre‐torquingifnecessary.
Raisethemastandinsertthesafetypinsuppliedintheappropriatehole,seepicture.
Ensurethatalltheelectricalcablesareundamagedandcorrectlyconnected.
CheckthatthemainswitchandthelampsswitchesareintheOFFposition.
Drivetheearthpicketintotheground(earth)followinganyriskassessment.(*)
Checkthatthegroundingcableissecurelyattachedtotheunit.
Openthefrontaldoortoaccessthecontrolpanel.
Foroperators’safety,thegroundingofthemachinealwaysneedstobedonepayingattentiononthesectionofthecable

Toturnoffthelamps,turnthelightswitch(2)andtheselectorswitch(4)toOFF.
Connectanelectricalsupplytotheplug(1).Makesurethatthepowerlineisprotectedbyanappropriatedifferentialswitchand

Usetheelectricaloutlet(5)toconnectanotherunit.
Turntheselectorswitch(4)in“AUTOMODE”.
Setthelightsensor(3)toavaluebetweenmin.25andMax.70.
Switchonthelightsusingtheswitch(2).
Whentheambientbrightnessdropsbelowthepresetlevel(expressedinLux),theLEDlightsturnonautomatically.
Whentheambientbrightnessrisesbelowthepresetlevel(expressedinLux),theLEDlightsturnoffautomatically.

Poorlymaintainedequipmentcanbecomeasafetyhazard.Inorder,fortheequipment,tooperatesafelyandproperlyoveralong
periodoftime,periodicmaintenanceandoccasionalrepairsarenecessary.
AnykindofmaintenanceworkonthelightingtowermustbecarriedoutbyAuthorizedandtrainedpersonnel.Itshouldbedoneina
safeworkingenvironmentandwiththemachinewellstabilized.Theenginemustbeturnedoffandletcooldownsufficientlybefore
startingtoworkonit.
Whileperformingmaintenancework,pleaseusesuitabletoolsandclothes.
DONOTmodifyanycomponentifnotauthorized.
Therepairscannotbeconsideredamongtheroutinemaintenanceactivities.E.g.thereplacementofpartsthataresubjectto
occasionaldamageandthereplacementofelectricandmechaniccomponentsthatwearwithuse.Thiskindofworkisnot–infact‐
coveredbywarranty.
