Step&1:&Add!the!resistors.!These!are!not!polarized!and!can!go!in!either!
direction.!The!(433)!resistor!highlighted!in!yellow!is!actually!a!430k.!

Step&2:&Add!the!diodes.!These!are!polarized,!so!the!orientation!matters.!
Match!the!striped!end!of!the!diodes!with!the!striped!end!on!the!PCB!
screenprint.!If!your!diodes!have!both!a!white!and!gray!stripe,!place!the!
gray!stripe!in!the!square!hole.!

Step&3:&&Add!the!Film!caps.!These!are!not!polarized!and!can!be!placed!in!
either!direction.!The!capacitor!highlighted!in!yellow!is!the!ceramic!disc!
capacitor.!

Step&4:&Add!the!IC!socket.!Be!sure!to!match!the!notch!on!the!socket!
with!the!notch!on!the!PCB!screenprint.!

Step&5:&Add!the!trimpot.!There!are!5!holes!on!the!PCB,!but!your!trimpot!
will!only!have!3!legs.!This!is!to!accommodate!various!styles!of!trimpots.!
Your!trimpot!will!only!orient!in!one!direction.!

Note&about&the&Trimpot:&This!is!your!gain!control.!It!is!wired!to!act!just!
like!a!normal!overdrive!gain!control.!Turning!the!trimpot!clockwise!will!
result!in!more!gain.!Turning!the!trimpot!counterLclockwise!will!result!in!
less!gain.!

Step&6:&Insert!the!pins!into!the!Crown!Jewel!header!spots!as!shown!
below!be!sure!to!place!the!longer!end!of!the!pins!into!the!headers.!
Once!the!pins!are!placed,!guide!the!module!board!onto!the!pins!and!
press!down!slightly!so!the!module!is!sitting!flush!on!the!pins.!Solder!
the!topLside!of!the!module!at!the!pins.!This!helps!align!the!pins!and!
headers!to!the!module!board.!
