WALK THROUGH METAL DETECTOR

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING INSTRUCTION CAREFULLY
BEFORE OPERATON
Regarding to how to how to use the machine correct y and safe y,
p ease attention to the fo owing instructions. make sure you have read it
before operation.
1 . It’s avai ab e for both indoor and outdoor use, p ease use canopy to
protect it against rain.
2. Choose the smooth and stab e insta ation p ace, don’t touch the detector
during security checking to avoid fa se a arm.
3. Make sure there’s no big meta object or strong magnetic fie d around the
detector within 2 meters.
4. Keep the detector far from the power ine and communication cab e.
5. Detector probe must not insta in high temperature or wet circumstance.
6. Do not disassemb e the contro units except the professiona technician.
7. P ease wait minute for its se f-diagnosing when machine start.
8. We advise to have a power cord on the cei ing, easier to connect to the
detector.
9 . Fo ow the user manua and make sure the right wire connection when
machine start.

【BRIEF MAINTENANCE】
1. Can’t Start The Machine
1) Check whether power sockets proper y.
2) Check whether the power switch is on.
3) Check the fuse b ew out (On y for XLD-A mode ).
2. Can’t Account Passengers
1) Don’t work in the strong sun ight as it use infrared sensor.
2) Check the eft and right infrared sensor probe whether in para e .
3. A arm Without Meta
1) First, exc ude a the meta in ourse f and go through the detector. Find out which zones a arm and
ow down the zone sensitivity according y unti it is not a arm.
2) Check whether have interference nearby such as big movab e machine, high-power equipment.
3) Check whether there are simi ar products nearby, if so change the frequency(Origina frequency
show on the package carton box).
4) Make sure no big wind and smooth around insta ation p ace.
4. With Meta But No A arm
1) Fo ow the user manua and increase the zone sensitivity and tota sensitivity.
2) The factory defau t setting can detect a coin diameter 25mm. Make sure the meta size is bigger,if not
adjust the sensitivity according y.
5.Sing e Zone No A arm
Make higher sensitivity then test again.Change the corresponding zone signa co ection card if prob em
is the same in highest sensitivity.

6. Unnorma Communications
1) Fo ow the user manua and confirm whether is the prob em of eft sensor or right sensor.
2）When confirmed which door frame have communication prob ems, pu out its probe and reinsert for
severa times,then test again. If prob em the same, then rep ace the corresponding signa co ection card,
main board and wire step by step unti confirm the prob ems.
7. Who e Machine Non-inductivity
1) Check whether the communication is ok, fo ow above 6 steps.
2) If communication is ok, rep ace the mainboard or signa board step by step.
8. LCD Screen Prob ems, LED Bar Graph Not Lighting, Buttons Not Working
1) Rep ace the parts from other Wa k Through meta detector to find the fai ure parts

The interference during the wa kthrough meta detector working,are main y

Working frequency for the Wa k Through meta detector is 4KHz-8KHz.
around the work environment shou d exc ude the e ectronic products that
have the a most simi ar working frequency such as generator, TV etc.

The Wa k Through meta detector wi be interfered by the moving meta
objects, around the work environment shou d not have turnsti e and from
vehic e etc. big moving meta objects.

During using 2 pieces or more Wa k Through meta ,shou d avoid using the
same frequency(the work frequency can be seen on the packing box),the
minimum distance between two doors shou d be above 0.7m to avoid the
mutua interference for the Wa k Through meta detectors.

As shown above, keep
the door pane f at on
the bubb e, take the
joint screws, then first
connect the contro unit
case and the eft door
pane with screws, and
then connect the right
door pane with the
contro unit case, after
they are ready, ock the
cover of the contro
unit case and then make the Wa k Through meta detector erected.

【PRODUCT GUIDE】
P ug the power first, open the switch be ow the door pane and the switch
ight shine, said externa power supp y good. The pane of the contro unit
case wi disp ay the passing times and a arm times as Figure 1.

1. Press ENTER key 3 seconds to set Sensitivity. Then the pane shows 0000
L-90 (Figure 2). L means sensitivity, 90 means the va ue of sensitivity, the
scope is from 0 to 99. The bigger number the higher sensitivity. Press
Upward and Downward key to adjust the sensitivity va ue, after adjusting the
sensitivity va ue, press ENTER key to save.

2. After setting the sensitivity, press ENTER key to save tge va ue of
sensitivity and enter into the interface of Frequency setting. The pane shows
0000 F-11 (Figure 3). F means Frequency, 11 means the va ue of Frequency,
the scope is from 1-12. Press Upward and Downward key to adjust the
frequency va ue, after adjusting the sensitivity va ue, press ENTER key to
save and exit.
