Safety Instructions

1 Product Introduction and Features
1.1 Instruction
CM580-59F is an embedded industrial PC with low power consumption and high
performance independently developed by CaiMore. It use Rockchip RK3399 series CPU, and
ARM processor combined with Android operating system to provide a very broad and free
App operating environment.Excellent computing and graphics performance, especially
suitable for harsh conditions or high requirements of industrial occasions and public space
applications. CM580-59F supports wide temperature work and extends a rich peripheral
functional interface.

Main Features of Rockchip RK3399 series CPU：
Based on the Big.Little architecture, it is a dual-core Cortex-A72 and quad-core
Cortex-A53 composite architecture with independent NEON co-processor.
The GPU is powered by a new generation of four-core ARM high-end image processor
Mali -T860, which integrates more bandwidth compression technologies such as smart
superposition, ASTC, local pixel storage, and supports more graphics and computing
interfaces.
4K VP9 and 4K 10bits H265/H264 video decoding, up to 60fps.

3.2 Unpacking
When shipping, our company has prepared the products and related accessories in the
packaging box. Please keep all the accessories well after unpacking, so as to use them in the
future.

3.4 System Installation
The power supply for CM580-59F is 12V/3A, the specific steps of device’s use are as
follows:
1.Connect a screen to HDMI or LVDS interface;
2.Connect keyboard and mouse to USB interface;
3.Connect the power cable, connect the output end of 12V / 3A adapter to the power input end
of the industrial PC , and then turn it on.
4 System Upgrade
4.1 U disk or TF card Upgrade
4.1.1 U disk or TF card Upgrade under Android system running
When the Android system is running, select the upgrade package to upgrade:
1. Name the upgrade package update.zip and place it in the root directory of the U disk or TF
card;
2. Insert the U disk while the system is running, and wait for about 5 seconds. The system
interface will automatically pop up a query box about whether to upgrade the firmware:

3. Click “Yes” or “Install”. During the upgrade, please make it sure the connection of USB
and power are not disconnected, and don’t take the U disk or TF card off.
4. It will enter system upgrade status

5. When the upgrade is complete, the device will reboot automatically.
4.2 SD Card recovery
Note: This method will erase all data from the device.
1.Upzig toolkit of SD_Firmware_Tool._v1.46.rar，and open SD_Firmware_Tool.exe ;
2. Connect the storage device to the computer, and after the storage device is recognized
normally, select the corresponding storage device in the "Step 1: Optional removable disk
device" of SD_Firmware_Tool.exe tool;

3. In "Step 2: Select Function Mode", selected by default;
4. Select "Select Firmware" in "Step 3: Select Upgrade Firmware", the above interface
appears, and select the corresponding upgrade firmware, for example:
android_arm64-userdebug-7.1.2-CM580-52F-20190613-093754.img
5. Select in "Step 4: Select Demo Data", start creating, and wait for the completion of
production;
6. Start the upgrade, insert the storage device into the corresponding interface of the device,
and after power off and restart, the following upgrade screen will appear;
