COMPACT & POWERFUL
USB-C SSD
The Tu nano Plus is a portable bus-powered USB-C storage device with an
internal PCIe SSD.
Not only is the Tu nano Plus compact, it also provides up to 2TB capacity, in
addition to performance unmatched by anything in its class.

Please read the Tu nano Plus manual thoroughly and familiarize yourself with the
product before use.
Avoid using the Tu nano Plus in extremely hot and cold environments. A safe
temperature range is between 32°F – 95°F (0°C - 35°C).
Avoid using the Tu nano Plus in humid environments. Moisture and
condensation can accumulate in the device and cause damage to the electrical
components.

Keep the Tu nano Plus away from liquids and moisture. Exposure to liquids can
result in damaging the unit, electric shock, and result in a re hazard.
If your Tu nano Plus gets wet while it is still o, do not turn it on. In the case of
any issue with the device, do not attempt to repair or open the device yourself.
Doing so can result in personal injury, damage the device, and will void the
warranty. If you have any issues, please contact CalDigit Technical Support.

Turn on the computer and make sure you are logged into your OS.
Connect the USB-C cable to the Tu nano Plus and to the computer.
The Tu nano Plus will mount on the computer.

Formatting the
Tu nano Plus for
Windows OS
WARNING
The CalDigit Tu nano Plus is pre-formatted for Mac OS X and ready to work.
Windows users please re-format your Tu nano Plus for use with Windows OS.
Before re-formatting your Tu nano Plus please back-up any data on the Tu
nano Plus onto another drive. Re-formatting a drive will delete all data on the
drive. Only proceed if you have backed-up.
Connect the Tu nano Plus to your Windows computer with the
appropriate cable.
Open Disk Management (Control Panel - Administrative Tools - Computer
Management - Disk Management).
Find the Tu nano Plus that you want to format in the list of drives. Right
click on the “Disk Number”and select “Properties”.
In Disk Management, right click on the partition that was previously
formatted for Mac and select “Delete Volume...”.
On the pop-up window click “YES” to delete the Mac partition.

When the disk comes online, right click on the “Unallocated” area and select
“New Simple Volume”.
The “New Simple Volume Wizard”pop-up window will appear. Follow the
simple on-screen instructions to nish formatting your Tu nano Plus.
The Tu nano Plus will mount on your Windows computer.

Note: USB-C and Thunderbolt™ 3 users must use the supplied USB-C cable,
a certied USB-C cable (10Gb/s) or a Passive Thunderbolt™ 3 cable or a
Thunderbolt™ 4 cable.

3. IP67 Protection
The Tu nano Plus features IP67 (Ingress Protection) that allows the devices to
be protected from water and dust.
Immersion
Protection
The Tu nano Plus can be fully immersed in water up to 1M for 30 minutes.
WARNING
Exceeding the distance of water immersion past 1M, for a duration of over 30
minutes could lead to data loss.

4. Drop Protection
The Tu nano Plus can withstand drops up to 3M.
