INSTALLATION TOOLS REQUIRED
INSTALLATION RECOMMENDATIONS
• Determine weight of marketLITE that will be used
• Determine length of marketLITE and multiply by weight
• An engineer must choose the proper aircraft cable to handle the tension,
based on length and weight to prevent product from sagging
• An engineer must determine the strength of the structure where the
cable will attach, based on tension calculation from previous step
• If installing on a pole, check with pole manufacturer to confirm the pole
can handle the tension
• marketLITE is hung to the above aircraft cable using the hooks. Secure
hooks to aircraft cable by crimping or using stainless steel tie wrap
• The supplied aircraft cable is designed to prevent strain on the wire
An additional aircraft cable is required to hang marketLITE

or ignite
• Do not route marketLITE through walls, doors, windows, or building
structures
• Do not roll out marketLITE on rough surfaces or over sharp corners.
• Do not use marketLITE if damaged, such as, broken outer jacket, loose
connections, or frayed wire insulation. Inspect periodically
• Do not secure marketLITE with staples, nails, or like means that might
damage the insulation. Secure by using mounting aircraft hook
• Do not submerge marketLITE in liquid or install near standing water or
other liquids
• Do not install marketLITE where it is subject to continuous flexing
• Do not mount marketLITE inside cabinets, tanks, or enclosures of any
kind without proper ventilation
• Do not run marketLITE at an operation temperature below -40°C (-40°F)
or above 55°C (131°F)
• Ground Fault Circuit Interruptor (GFCI) protection is required on

Application Guidelines
One person on one end mounts aircraft
cable and bulbs
ML2000-CM REQUIRES A TEAM EFFORT TO ENSURE SECURE AND CORRECT INSTALLATION
Another person feeds ML2000-CM,
eliminating any twists or tangles
Cable lock
Aircraft cable must be mounted prior
to attaching light string with bulbs
Feed from wire-puller stand
Feed to power connection
Screw in bulb only after entire light string
has been mounted onto aircraft cable.
Do not over-tighten bulbs. Over-tightening
bulbs will break weatherproof seal and
damage wiring inside, causing LED to fail.

Cable Lock & Mounting Plate
1. Mount eye hook to desired surface.
TIP: Ensure mounting surface is appropriate and capable of supporting the
weight of the light fixture.
2. Loop aircraft mounting cable through eye hook and secure
cable lock to achieve desired tension.
NOTE: Leave at least 3” slack from exiting hole of cable lock.
4. Fasten locking once when desired tension is achieved.
3. Using tensioning tool (not included) to eliminate unwanted cable slack.

Step by Step
1. Install aircraft cable.
NOTE: See previous page for cable mounting details.
2. Hook socket onto aircraft cable.
6. Fully insert wires into end cap.
TIP: Allow silicone to seep out of end cap for a proper seal.
Check the silicone seal for holes or gaps.
NOTE: Silicone must be non-conductive and weatherproof
3. Cut excess wire at end of run.
TIP: Use sharp wire cutters to create a clean cut and avoid fraying.
7. Install bulbs into sockets, then install cages into canopies.
NOTE: Do not over-tighten bulbs.
Over-tightening compromises weather seal, damaging internal components.
NOTE: A small amount of the screw threads will show between socket and bulb.
Do not attempt to screw bulb beyond this point.

Troubleshooting
1. Turn off power before beginning. Check for any twisting or damage to
the wire on the light string.
2. Check for metal particles or other foreign objects causing the short.
4. Ensure the lead wire is not too long and wound or coiled.
5. Ensure copper wires are not touching each other or strain relief cable.
6. Ensure there are no missing or broken bulbs from light string.

TROUBLESHOOT
• Do not reset breaker multiple times.
• If the lighting is overloaded, the panel breaker will trip,
shutting off the lights.
• If the breaker reset button has been held down by hand or any type
of pressure (example: duct tape), or if the breaker has been reset
multiple times without trouble shooting, the lighting will:
- Burn the primary wires due to high amperage caused
by overload and/ or short circuit in line which will not allow the
panel breaker to reset
- Damage the lighting

Maintenance
CLEANING MATERIALS FOR LENSES AND EXTRUSIONS
The use of solvents and/or cleaners which are not compatible with polycarbonate will result in the softening, crazing, and/or cracking of the
plastic part. This is especially true of polycarbonate lamps and mounting bases which may be under stress in their normal applications.
