HOW TO CHARGE THE CAMERA
Please charge the camera before use it for the first time
1. Unscrew the pen at the middle, revealing the mini USB port. Insert the provided USB cable into the port
and charge the camera.
2. The indicator light (5) should be solid blue while the camera is charging. Once the battery is full, the
indicator light will start alternating between red and blue. It usually takes about 2 hours for a full charge.
HOW TO RECORD VIDEO
1. Unscrew the pen at the middle and then insert the microSD card into
the microSD card slot, in the orientation shown in the image on the
right. Make sure the indicator light is facing you.
2. Press and hold the On/Off button (1) at the top of the pen, until the
blue indicator turns on. The blue indicator light will flash two times and then turn off, as the pen starts
recording automatically. The blue indicator light will remain off while the camera is recording.
3. To stop recording, press one time on the On/Off button (1) at the top of the pen. The indicator light will
turn on and remain solid blue, as the camera is switched into the standby mode.
4. To start recording again from the standby mode, press one time on the On/Off button (1) at the top of the
pen.
Notice:
▪When the camera is in the standby mode, if no operations are performed within 2 minutes, the camera
shuts down automatically.

▪If the camera is on, but there is no microSD card inserted, the indicator light will flash red and blue for 4
seconds and then the camera will automatically turn off.
▪If the battery is low, the indicator light will flash red and blue for 3 seconds and then the camera will
automatically switch to protected mode, saving the recorded files to the microSD card.
HOW TO TAKE PHOTOS
1. With the camera turned on, press one time on the On/Off button (1) at the top of the pen. The camera
will switch into the standby mode.
2. Press two times on the On/Off button (1) at the top of the pen. The blue indicator light will flash once and
a photo will be taken.
Notice:
▪To switch the camera back to its recording mode, press one time on the On/Off button (1) at the top of
the pen. The blue indicator light will flash two times and then turn off.
HOW TO TURN OFF THE CAMERA
Press and hold the On/Off button (1) at the top of the pen, until the blue indicator light flashes once and the
camera turns off.
HOW TO RESET THE CAMERA
If for some reason there is a crash, the recording function does not work or the device does not work at all,
use the provided pin and press once on the reset button (4). After a reset, the device should work normally.
HOW TO ADD RECORDING TIMES FOR VIDEO AND PICTURE FILES
1. Insert the micro SD card into your computer
2. Open the time.txt file on the micro SD card
3. Change the letter “N” to “Y” and save the file (e.g. 2018/08/08 00:00:00 N→ 2018/08/08 00:00:00 Y)
