1. Paent leads should be connected to
the electrodes.
2. Electrodes can be connected to the
paent. (See diagram below).
3. Insert the paent cable into the monitor.
4. Insert CardioPhone baeries.
5. The monitor is ready to record events.
HOW DO I TURN ON THE MONITOR?
HOW DO I CONNECT TO THE MONITOR?
1. Press the RECORD buon unl an audible beep
sound is heard.
2. “RECORDING” will ash in the upper le hand
corner of the display.
3. Hold sll during the recording, but connue
breathing.
4. The display will show that an event is stored in
the monitor, unl it’s sent automacally to our
monitoring centre.
*Aer a manual recording, enter a note into your
diary. It is very important in assisng your physician
in understanding your symptoms.
If the monitor detects a lead loss during this
recording, the monitor will produce an audible
sound unl the recording is complete.
WHAT DO I RECEIVE?

1. Remove the lead from the electrodes.
2. Wash and dry the skin.
3. Place the new electrodes close to the
original spot.
4. Connect the white contact to the
electrodes on the right side and the
red contact on the le side, as per the
diagram.
HOW DO I RECORD MY HEART RATE?
During the week or other duraon set by your physician to use the CardioPhone,
the monitor will record any abnormalies with the heart rhythm, 24 hours a day.
You can easily press record if you experience any cardiac symptoms such as:
• Heart palpitaons
• Shortness if breath
• Chest Pain
• Nausea
• Chest Tightness
• Dizziness
• Fluer
• Irregular Heartbeats
• Burning Sensaon
