Zigbee conguration - advanced
4. Set up Touchlink - if you have a Touchlink capable remote
i. Press the reset button 4 times
ii. The LED will start blinking green indicating that the module is ready for Touchlink mode. Pairing
mode will time-out after 15 minutes.
iii. Bring the remote within 10cm of the module and set the remote into Touchlink commissioning mode.
You will need to refer to the instructions that came with the remote to do this.
iv. The light will blink 10 times Touchlink pairing has been successful, and the LED will stay solid green
for 10 seconds once pairing is complete
Please Note
• When both devices (Dimmer and remote) are not included in a Zigbee network, each module can connect
with up to 1 remote control.
• When both devices are included in the same Zigbee network, each dimmer can connect with up to 30
remote controls.
• For Philips Hue Hubs and Amazon Echo Plus, rst add the remote and the device to network, and then
begin Touchlink pairing.
5. Find and Bind
i. Press the reset button 5 times
ii. The LED will start blinking yellow indicating that the module is ready for Find and Bind mode. Pairing
mode will time-out after 15 minutes.
iii. Set the remote into Find and Bind mode. You will need to refer to the instructions that came with the
remote to do this.
iv. The will be an indication on the remote that Find and Bind mode has been successfully established.
Fine Tuning
To optimise the performance of the smart module, or to adjust the settings to your preference, you can adjust
the brightness at the Min. and Max. level, and adjust dimming speed.
i. MIN adjustment - Switch on the lights. When the lights are on, insert a screwdriver into the MIN dial
and turn it to the left, and lower the brightness level of the lights. When the light becomes unsteady, turn
it slightly back to the right till the light remains steady.
ii. MAX adjustment - Switch on the lights. When the lights are on, insert a screwdriver into the MAX dial
and turn it to the right, and increase the brightness of the lights. When the light becomes unsteady, turn
it slightly back to the left till the light remains steady.
iii. Dimming Speed adjustment - Insert a screwdriver into the Speed dial, turn it clockwise to increase
the dimming speed and anti-clockwise to decrease the dimming speed.
